Rue sensed she was in trouble then. He ran into the camp, heading straight to her.

"...let him go," Adele said quietly. "Please..."
The men released Marius. The man holding Adele tore her sword away from her and tied her hands. It looked like Adele was crying.

Rue finally found them. He stealthily tried to get behind them without them noticing.

The men hadn't noticed. They put a mark on Adele's cheek that would seal her magic so she couldn't attack them.

Rue licked the blood from his slashed arm, since it didn't stop bleeding.
Then, like a wild animal tasting blood, he went feral. His eyes gave off a crimson glow and his muscles bulked up a little. He moved behind the men and tried to grab them by their necks; lifting them into the air if he succeeded.

Adele cried out in fear as the men holding her were lifted into the air.

Rue squeezed their necks until Adele was freed. His teeth started lengthening.

Marius, who had been freed, ran forward to Adele. He held her and kept her safe from the monster-like Rue.
More men came forward and started attacking Rue.

Rue used the men he had in his grasp already to hit away his attackers. Once the men in his hands were unconscious, he threw them away and growled, daring the men to step closer to him or his friends. Four bumps formed on his back, indicating that Rue was soon going to completely give in to his feral instincts and slaughter them all.

The men kept attacking Rue.
Marius saw this happen and backed away, Adele in his arms. She couldn't see what was going on as Marius had buried her face in his shoulder.

Four wings exploded from Rue's back and he ripped at the men with his claws, no longer caring about keeping them alive anymore.

Marius sheltered Adele and covered her ears so she wouldn't hear the men screaming and yelling as they continued to attack Rue.

Rue ripped and tore at the men until there were finally no more. Surrounded by bodies, Rue panted for breath and scanned the area for life.

The only life he would find were Marius and Adele, who were not too far away from him.

Rue fell to his knees, transforming back to his human shape. He then collapsed.
