*nod* I'm fascinated by very small things only a microscope reveals. I've heard the theory that life on earth originated off-planet and arrived in the form of a microbe on a comet or meteorite. So e. coli could be the alien invaders among us.

Cool. Do you display the various minerals you have? My little collection is scattered in boxes and jars. Some day, when I retire, I'll put them in a tray with labels, all organized.

Too bad egg cartons are so ugly. They're a good size and shape for organizing some of the smaller gems and minerals.
Minerals like beryl and quartz crystals are especially amazing to me, how they come out of the ground all polished like that. Geodes are also pretty awesome

Yeah, an egg cartoon would work if only they could be shaped just a bit differently then they would be perfect. 3nodding
Indeed, some of the gemstones have such a shiney look even when they jst came out of the ground.
Every now and again we find Geodes here, and small pieces of guartz I love so many kinds of gemstone.
If I can the next time I post I am going to put up some Gemstone/Crystal pics. blaugh
