[Anita isn't with Teddy, Serennedy is. Anita is in the Riverfront though, with Cleo.]
"It makes it easier for vamps and weres to snoff you out if you are wearing purfume. In my line of business, that can be very dangerous." Anita replied. "Besides, I didn't know it was there until you said something." Anita did have a good idea of who might have put it there and when. If Cleo didn't want it, she just might take it back to Jean-Claude and toss it in his face. She was not going to go runnign back into his arms because of some bottle of fancy purfume. And he should know better.

Teddy parks the car and looks over at Serrenedy with concern. At least now he knew where the place was; he wouldn't make her ride with him again. Terrified vampires really did a job on his own mental well being. "We're stopped now; we can get out. I'm really sorry." Teddy was shocked by the size of the house and wanted to see more, but not until he was sure Serrenedy was going to be okay. He quickly got out of the car and went to the passenger side, just in case Serrenedy was too flustered to get out on her own.

Cleo looked confuzed for a moment before "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-Somebody's got a secret AAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR"
Serrrenedy ran out the car-burning her fingertips onthe sun as she did so she stood on the shaddy poarch to stop it from spreading. "Can you get my parosol-I left it in there...and no offence to your driveing but i'll take carrage rides and walk"

Anita sighed. "I /wish/ it was a secret admirer. It would be a hell of a lot easier to ignore them then." she grumbled before quickly changing the subject. "Hey, this set of dishes looks nice... what do you think, Cleo?"

"I'm not offended." To be honest, Teddy was just glad she hadn't taken off a chunk of his door while fleeing. He grabbed Serrenedy's parasol and his bags before kicking the door shut. "It's just the only way I can get around. No flying or tree jumping and walking to work every day would probably kill me. Carriage rides? Seriously? That actually sounds kind of fun." He follows her up to the porch and offers her the parasol back.

"Not everywhere...belive me" Serrenedy said as she grabbed a key from under thee welcome mat. The inside of the house was scary spotless though it looked slightly decrpid as if no actual work had been done to stop wetheringg. The windows were not only boardedup but also heavy burgendey curtains-there was to the right what looked like a galerystylee kichen and proable dining room. Through the glass door on the left you could see a pool tabel sugesting a game room and a set of winding wodden stairs that sat in in between the fork. "Welcome to...now manners dictate I say hummble home but quite honestly I have one of those houses I have to brag about. So...Welcome"
Cleo looked at the dishes-just her size with black swirls on the sides and pink kanji for love, hope, and beauty in the middle "OOOHHHH-I LOVE THEM" She squeled

Anita picked up the tiny box of dishes and carried them carefully in her hand. "Want to come out and see if you can find some matching cups?" she asked the fairy, relieved that she went with the change in topic.

"Yeah, nothing really humble about this place." Teddy speaks quietly as though afraid to disturb the house with his voice. It was so quiet and still save for his conversation with Serrenedy. He stepped closer to the glass door and peered into the room with the pool table curiously. "How did you come to be living in a place like this with just a fairy for company?"

"Sure" Cleo sid jumping out of the bag and hal danceing half floating threw the china to look for something.
"I owned the house-I had it uprooted and brought here-however, the last of my family died half a century ago-two years go the pesky fairy came here...I could have mde her leave on the first day but I hoped that any company was better then being alone...saddly even faimily couldn't prepare me for that level of annoying

"One thing I'm suprised by... no one on the Riverfront has thought about building an apartment complex for you tiny types. Do they expect you to move into bird houses or something?" Anita asked jokingly as she sat down in a human-sized chair as she had a feeling the fairy might take a while looking for things. "If you find something, jsut bring it to me and I'll hold it for you, okay?"

Teddy laughed at that and shook his head. "Wow. And I thought family could prepare you for any kind of annoying." Something did not feel right. It was not anything about Serrenedy or the house, either. Teddy just really wanted to find Markus. The urge to go to the Danse Macabre and seek him out had been steadily building since sometime during his drive to this place. He had been ignoring it, chalking it up to just having not wanted to leave. The truth was he'd only left because good sense won out over what he wanted. But now he almost felt like he was being called back. Which made no sense; if Markus really wanted to call out to Teddy then he probably could. So once more, Teddy just ignored the urge. "Where can I put my stuff?"

Teddy, I thought miserably, broadcasting myself to the greater Blood Square area. Others with good "hearing" would probably notice my psychic plea, but pass it off as interference. Which it was, as far as everyone else was concerned. I sat on the side of my bed, head in hands, hair spilling around my face, through my fingers. The quilt covered my thighs, but aside from the bed cloth, I was naked and pathetic. Theo, my love, I thought again as I narrowed down his location to somewhere within the Riverfront. Why were you upset earlier? I asked, as a pathetic excuse for conversation. I hoped he was hearing me as me, and not as some stray hallucination.

Teddy gasped and dropped his bags from fingertips that suddenly felt numb. He thought he had heard...? No, there was no way. He was imagining things. Then it came again, a 'voice' or whatever one would call it. It had to be Markus; no one else would be calling him their love. Teddy grinned, elated that Markus really was contacting him, then slowly the question asked sunk in. How did he even answer that? Could he just think back at Markus? Or did he have to go to him? I talked to my parents. He thought as clearly as he knew how. They were not happy. I am with Serrenedy now. He looks to Serrenedy. "Markus just asked after me. I... well, I tried thinking at him. I'm not sure if that even works? Maybe I should go see him?"

((Teddy's at Serrenedy's house right now))
Cleo giggled "Lucinda actually tried that, saddly birdhouses aren't built for insulation." She shrugged before picking up some glasses with a pink bottom and the kanji for unity on it. "Found maches"
Serrenedy wided her eyes and smiled "go to him-while you can, I'll put your stuff away for you"

"Thanks, Serrenedy. You're the best." Teddy wanted to hug her; already she had made his problems seem literally miles away. Still, he didn't know how she'd fell about him just suddenly hugging her... ah, well, if it was something he was never supposed to do, she'd tell him. Teddy went to her and gave her a small hug. "Seriously. Thanks a lot." Then he leaves the house, gets back into his car and makes his way to the Riverfront and Danse Macabre. ---
When Teddy arrived at the club, he did not run but he came pretty close to it. Why was he hurrying? Hadn't he decided for his own safety not to be here? Wasn't that a smart decision? Meaning by proxy that he was now doing something very stupid? But these thoughts could not sway him; he went straight up to Markus' room an knocked without hesitation. Markus had called and he had all but come running.
