Stepping out of the car, Chiu smiled at how far Ky was going. ''Well Ky. Let's get some curry first! I'm hungry!'' she suggested, closing the door and tugging his arm.

There was curry house nearby and the aromas had attracted her to it. It was a small store, but very popular and was the very store Chiu was trying to drag Ky to.

Xeion, while carrying Yuu-san on his back, skidded to a stop right in front of the Karakura Town Mall. It was big and had everything needed in it -- book stores, tech shops, arcades, appliance stores, supermarkets, and of course, lots and lots of restaurants and food kiosks. Xeion was sure Yuu would have a field day in here, and what's better, it was all going to be Xeion's treat. Working for Ky always did have perks in the human world such as having access to information normally classified to the general public which would allow Xeion to do his job more efficiently, both as a shinigami and as a protector of human lives, as well as authorization to use facilities and things from Ky's company, buildings, cars, and all, but most obvious of all was that his bank account was always fat so he could afford to treat Yuu-san to whatever she wanted. Xeion was never really much of a money person as he believed that there are some things money can't buy. Making Yuu-san, a girl who was once full of sorrow, happy was once of those things in that category. Besides, he could easily re-earn the money he would be spending today and more by just participating in one of Ky's missions. "So, Yuu-sama, where do you want to go first?"

"Okay then," said Xeion, entering the mall with Yuu-san in hand as he let her down prior to entering the automated gates. As soon as they entered, they were greeted by a wonderful array of sights and sounds -- the mall was, as usual, filled to the brim with wonderful and interesting decorations that are designed to stimulate the senses and lull those inside into a feeling of happiness. Since Yuu-san wanted to eat and left Xeion to decide what to eat, he smiled. Her being a kid, Xeion thought she must like ice cream, like all kids, so he went to a well-known ice cream shop.

Sitting down in a table for two, Xeion called a waiter and ordered a mango parfait for himself while he ordered a big banana split with generous helpings of chocolate sauce and wafer sticks that would sure tickle Yuu-san's taste buds. Just minutes later, their orders came and Xeion smiled at Yuu-san, looking at her straight in the eyes and said, "Bon appetit, Yuu-san," and started to partake of his mango parfait while, at the same time, hoping that Yuu-san liked the taste of her banana split.

Xeion simply watched Yuu gobble her ice cream down until she got a brain freeze from eating too much, too fast. Her actions were that of a child who was just exploring the world for the first time; a world she never knew existed apart from the sad and empty one she lived in for 10 years. Xeion, to put it simply, was happy for her as she was finally enjoying herself after such a long while. "Haha, that's what you get for eating ice cream too fast," Xeion teased, going over to her with a napkin and began to wipe some of the ice cream off of her like a good brother would. One would even go so far as describing the scene as a dad, cleaning the face of his cute child.

While Xeion did this, Xeion overheard some of the conversation the people around them were having. "My, isn't that cute!" one female voice said while another replied, "Yes, certainly. He certainly is a loving brother...or is he that girl's father?" On the other side of the store, even more reactions were heard. "That little girl is cute, but that guy tending to her isn't a slouch either," said one. "I wish my Shinichi and Katsumi were as close as those two."

Xeion smiled after hearing those comments about them. "See, Yuu-sama; people around you think you're cute. I think you're cute as well, but do go easy on the ice cream, okay?" said Xeion, finishing up cleaning Yuu-san and returned to his chair to enjoy his half-finished mango parfait some more.

Finishing his mango parfait, Xeion smiled when he was asked by Yuu-san about what they were to do next. "Anything you want, Yuu-sama; I'm your slave today. Whatever you want to do is fine with me," said Xeion, calling over the waiter in order to pay the bill. A few minutes later, the waiter returned and gave Xeion an official receipt for their as Xeion thanked the guy and moved over to Yuu-san's seat. Putting his hand on her tummy, he smiled, amused. "No, your tummy isn't mad, silly rabbit. Haven't you ever eaten so much before that you felt like your stomach was about to burst?"

Xeion eyes grew sad and his face displayed a look of sweet melancholy in them. Patting Yuu-san on the head, he said, "Okay then, anything you want, sweetie," said Xeion, carrying Yuu-san's light frame with ease and made their way to the nearby pet store. As he did this, Xeion thought in his mind just how rough Yuu-san had it. Even though he was a Revenant himself, he knew what normal Revenants had to go through as soon as they decided to leave the magical world and before they could make a name for themselves in the world of humans. However, Yuu-san's case took the cake. A girl who never knew the taste of real food and was only satisfied looking at other people eat, imagining herself to be the one who was eating it. Lowering his head slightly, a tear rolled down his cheek and tried his best to not get noticed by Yuu-san. He wanted her to be happy.

As soon as they reached the pet store, he set her down on the floor. "Here we are, Yuu-sama; the pet store. Have your pick at whatever thing you want, or would you rather want a plushie instead?" Xeion asked, discreetly wiping away his tears and gave her a confident smile. "Don't be shy, ne?"

Xeion was at a loss for words, but he just gave her a reassuring smile. "No...you're not. I'm just having so much fun with you that I'm crying. I want you to be happy, Yuu-sama, because if I make you happy, you make me happy as well," said Xeion, not minding if the young Revenant girl didn't understand his explanation of his current state, and didn't expect her too. Children should just have fun and cat like they're really children. They don't deserve to suffer or be sad; they deserve to live in a world where they can be happy always with someone to love them and watch over them. This young girl didn't have that privilege before, but now, Xeion was willing to give her a chance to experience happiness. It's her right as a child of the world.

A bead of cold sweat trickled down Xeion's face. What Yuu-san meant when she said something that was fluffy, she was referring to plushies, not pets. "Well then, let's go over to the toy store," said Xeion, bidding goodbye to the pet store owner who smiled at him back since he knew Xeion because he was frequently helping out at the store, especially in taking care of bunny rabbits.

Pulling Yuu-san along, they arrived in front of the huge toy store where toys of every shape and kinde were displayed. If Yuu-san wanted a plushie of her own, this is the most likely place she would find it. Entering the store with Yuu-san in hand, Xeion turned to the little girl and smiled. "Well, we're here."
