As the serpent dispersed in a black cloud of smoke, Nethrin stared at Sortai, "So, that is all you could do? If we get the chance to meet again, I'll have a different pet for you. It hasn't had a chance to fly in ages, so I'm sure it'll take great pleasure in playing with you." Nethrin started walking once more, only this time, a dark aura started to form around him. "Until the next sunset." Then, just as the serpent, Nethrin vanished along with Teka.

Uteranie smiled at his insult. "Think you that petty words hurt me?" She laughed. She closed her eyes and opened them sharply. The glowed yellow and suddenly there were two of her. She laughed again as the other of herself grabbed Meesha.
Phoenix growled as she heard something. She knew it was a voice but she didn't know whose or what it was saying.

Meesha felt more secure in the dragon's arms/claws, "Thank you," she said returning to her normal half elf self. "That was quite nice of you."

Kokiou walked around the surruondings utterly confused, she continuesly hollered for people but o answers where heard. but she continued onward. "koru.. do you think we'll ever rejoin them?"
koru gave a mew and stared at her.
"right... i guess i shouldnt be asking you.. youre a cat.."

"Yess they will be!" Meesha said with a smile on her face.
LAmkit saw kokiou walking in the forest, "K-KORU?!!!!" he yelled snatching the kitten and hugging it profusly, "I missed you, you little virmin!" Lamkit then became intent on licking the poor cat clean. Mid-lick Lamkit looked up to see Kokiou, "Hey Kokiou." he said as best he could with his toung still on the cat's back.

Sortai was alone, deep in the woods, all his weapons gone and his only friend left taken by some maniac. He sat on the ground, his speech to Phoenix unanswered, and cursed, hitting the earth with a fist over & over again. Why, he thought, does Fate torment me? Suddenly something large approached from the clearings other side. Just great... Sortai thought as he grabbed a stick to fight the dragon from earlier with.
(Kokiou, lamkit, thats your que or I'll kill off Sortai.)

(No takers? Okey Dokey, then.) Sortai swung the stick at the dragon, which sat there as the stick broke across its scales. Sortai cursed as it hit him, sending him flying into a tree. He hit the ground, hearing a loud crack as the branch he hit broke. He felt hot breath on his neck and knew this was it. (Last chance Beecher, Ruggaboo, Kokiou.)
Seth placed a blade on Meesha's neck. "Answer my challenge Phoenix, Queen of Dragons, or she dies now and we both lose."

(No-one? Alrighty)
A series of dagger like stabs entered Sortais back. He felt his body lifting from the ground as the shapes around him blurred and the world grew dark. Then, as a roar was heard, as far off as it sounded, Sortai lost consciousness.
(he doesn't have to be dead, he could just be knocked out. But if no-one posts in the next two days, say bye to Sortai.

(sorry I was gone camping, and kokiou is in salem... er... out of town... I couldn't answer you!!!!!)
Lamkit heard a roar, he went to a smal clearing and saw sortai's limp bodie about to be devoured by some sort of dragon like monster, it wasn't a Dragon, because it had the face of a human, and it's tails where a whole bunch of snakes, "A Chimara, fun." Lamkit picked a rock up and hit the beast in the face. "HEY UGLY!!!!!!! OVER HERE!!!!!!! That's not tasty! Look at this! I'm more beefy! and nummy!!!!" Lamkit unsheithed a battle axe that was hidden by his cape, he pulled out another one as well. He looked at the snake tails, and in one swift motion he cut the tail off, all the snakes witheres and dies instantly. the Chimara roared and ther Sortai aside to take care of Lamkit. Slowly Lamkit cut off the beastslimbs, untill all it was, was a a torso and a head, with one final blow he cut the head off the bodie.
(BTW... yvansi, seth doesn't have Meesha, Uteranie has meesha... re-read the text, and you'll see that Uyeranie picked Meesha up...)

Teka awoke in a room that had only a fireplace for a source of light. He was sitting in velvet chair and across from him was a figure, but Teka couldn't tell who it was, for his eyesight failed him. Once the person spoke, Teka instantly knew who it was. It's been a long time, hasn't it, Teka? "Leonardo...Just what do you want now?! You've already gotten that book. What are you after now?!" "Teka, you hurt me. We haven't seen each other in ages and all you can do is yell? My, my you haven't changed a bit. If you don't feel like chatting then I suppose you could just leave... The way Leonardo grinned told Teka that something was wrong, "Just what did you bring me here for?" "I just want to return something to you. You left it when we last met." Teka was completely paralyzed when he found the meaning of Leonardo's words. Words escaped him, and he had to remind himself to breathe. Leonardo looked at Teka as if he was surprised, "Hm? Oh, that's right! You wanted to get rid of it didn't you? Well, if you don't want it, I suppose I could take it off your hands, but I'd like for you to fetch me something. You see, that moron couldn't explain everything in one book, so he wrote another. That book is in the hands of some scholars hired by some noble. I want you to get it before they find out what it's for. So, do we have a deal, Teka?"

(( I kinda thought that the dragon from earlier made more sense than a random chimera, so if possible could we keep it that way? As for Seth, ignore those posts, but beware the next. )) Sortai was bleeding profusely, many wounds along his back and neck. To any but the most expert healer he was a dead man. But obviously he hadn't given up yet. He still held on to life. Outren soon entered the clearing as well, sitting beside his son and Lamkit. He, too, was injured, as his back showed a huge bloody wound. He turned to Lamkit, and there were tears in his eyes."Ferret-boy... no, Lamkit... Give this vial to my son. It will heal.... all his.... wounds. He needs it.... much more than I. And... tell him... Though... I love him, and... I'm immensely proud... I'm... not his... true... father." And with a sigh, Outren the archer died.
The roof of the castle burst open to reveal Seth on a Shadow dragon."Like my mount? Idarkoth hasn't fed in a millennium!" And with a barrel roll (Yes i know peppy) he proceeded to attack Uteranie.
Sunahr awoke. Apparently Gerofv had been hit in battle and he had fallen off him.His head was pounding as he mentally called for Gerofv. Mehintok was still flying against Seths air forces when Uteranie and Seth flew by. Mehintok yelled at his dragon partner,"Follow them!"

Teka would try to kill Leonardo with his bare hands, but it probably wouldn't work and Nethrin was probably somewhere nearby. Teka slowly looked up at Leonardo, still shaking with anger, "You b*****d...You expect me to take innocent lives just so you can get what you want?!" "Relax. I never said you had to kill anyone. But if you don't get that for me, you'll end up similar to what you were back then, at Navali."(NOTE: Navali is Teka's home country, it has little to do with this story, save for Teka's background.) Teka hung his head again, "Damnit, he's got me pinned. If I get that book, I'll be doing just what he intended. But if I don't...." After a moment, Teka gave a slight laugh that surprised Leonardo, "If I had known you would have followed me, I would've ended your life back then. That was a mistake I will not repeat. Before this is all over...I will kill you." Leonardo gave that smile that Teka despised so much, "A bit clichéd, don't you think? So, we're agreed. You'll be disguising yourself as a messenger of royalty. Nethrin will take you when you are ready. Teka glanced over at a table on the far end of the room with a cloak of blue on top of it, and underneath it, an elegant blue tunic and leggings with gold designs embroidered on it. Teka slowly walked over to table, "Great...Not my style."
