Well if you're a smoker, one of the labels red for girls that smoking increeses a chance that you'll lose a baby before it was born or other side effects... so that means it also applies with alcohol, wich also effects the unborn baby.

So if you're er... whatever that is, here's rundown.

Alcohol first goes into the stomech, and then the stomech absorbs some and sends them into the blood streams, it's like a river. Your... whatever carries no just milk, but also blood, it doesn't mean it's pure milk, but with some blood.

Ask your doctor before you do anything.

Like everyone already mentioned, you shouldn't drink if your breast feeding because the contents do carry over to the baby. Now I'm not saying the baby is going to feel what you might if you drink but it's not the smartest thing to do, but if your having just one cup of eggnog I really don't see the harm in it.

Then again I didn't breast feed so I didn't have to worry about those sorts of things.

Just don't be to parinoid, do what you want just don't go over board. Trial and error is part of being a parent.
