Yooza. I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one to hate FFXIV so much. At least I know I am ...probably...right to hate it XD
Thinking that my brother bought FFXIII. Such disgrace.

Bump is an acronym. It means "Bring Up My Post".
The purpose is to make a thread come back up to the first page so that others may notice the thread and participate in it.

Since the guild has users that are active, there is no need to bump a thread, since all of the active threads are on the first page. It then represents SPAM, which no one likes to read.

The Can of Spam thread is what that is for (Spamming is basically making random posts with no real intent other than to make gold.), which is why it was created.

And it makes me mad as well. I don't mind others wanting to participate in rp's or events, but when you have nothing to contribute, it wastes my time as well as others.

Alex: That FFXIV rant horrifies me. I still can't believe that they'd produce FF-anything with such poor quality control. They have a reputation to protect! D:

Peter: IKR. ^^' Baffles me how someone will deliberately go into a guild sub-forum just to bump a random thread without even looking to see what it is. Why go to all that work of clicking down through levels when you can just nose through the forums?

Meri: You're telling me! D: I came away from it with a totally different outlook than the expectation I went into it with. I dislike FF13 as well. FF12 was okay, but the battles were terrible. If you haven't played it, you have "Gambits" which is basically just a list of automated actions you assign to your party members. Walk to an enemy, let the game defeat it for you, continue along the path. ToT

Side note: Peter has gotten me hopelessly addicted to the Stargate franchise. D: I had a dream a few weeks ago that I shared with him, and he told me it sounded very similar to Stargate and recommended that I watch the film. Apparently I came up with the idea of Stargate on my own (as I knew nothing of it prior), but with a fantasy RPG flair to it. xd And now I want to delve as deep as I can into the franchise and absorb it all like a sponge. heart

Jeeeeeeez. I can't imagine a high-profile company releasing a game that bad... That sounds like Valusoft, not Square. D: Dang.

I attepted to fold it up, so just Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione were on it. But its too heavy to hang at the moment.

Well nuts. :< Maybe you could try to frame it in something? Then you could put it on a hook... oh, or you could try having it go around a corner. I don't know.
