It doesn't hurt, but it is uncomfortable. The only problem is I haven't eaten yet and I am getting hungry, but I don't know what to eat.
Once I try to eat it will probably hurt.

@Dessy: Tongue ring? My sister had one; try to eat soft food for a while. Applesauce, cream cheese, and bread with the crusts cut won't hurt too much, though I'd personally suggest smoothies through a straw so the food doesn't touch your tongue at all. You should stay away from popcorn, broccoli, meat, anything that can leave s**t between your teeth, to reduce the risk of irritation or infection.
