Blinking, he lifted his book, turning it aside to look down at the girl before raising an eyebrow in question, then looks back over the book, the spine in gold, of characters that don't seem legible in any sense.
"So, are you just staring me down or trying to read the title?" He questioned with the slightest good humor in his voice.

He blinked, and let out a laugh at the comment, looking back down at her.
"It's not much of a win considering I'm down to one eye." He then closed his boot, reading out the title in a language that seemed to require many twists of the tongue.
"And if you win, what was it that you won in beating me?" He questioned, an amused smirk on his face as he returned to reading through the numerous golden text of the book, symbols and such on it's old pages.

He pauses for a moment, and then closes his book once more before barely thunking her on the top of her head.
"If only those prizes were the ones in life, a lot less people would be fighting, and a whole lot less would be dying." He chuckled softly to himself and handed her the book.
"There's a better prize instead. It's hard enough to read for a one eyed male. Perhaps two eyes will bring about better luck." He traced his fingers through his snow colored hair, pushing it back out of his eyes.

*gliding in through the door abruptly, he immediately sights Genesis and pales a slight fraction, but he decides to stay for the moment anyway. It was better than staying outside.*
*plucking a leaf from his hair and flicking it away, he mumbles to noone in particular* "I just needed a few more days of stasis. Accursed imps have to steal my clothes and hide them in the damndest of places."
*he rubs the sleep from his eyes and holds out a hand as he makes his way to a far couch. Overhead a odd crystal drops from the chandelier and lands upright in his hand. He sits down and places the crystal to his ear, after a moment he just sighs and continues to observe the proceedings.*

She makes a little sound of protest at the thump. "Hey!" When he offers it, she slowly takes the book. "Thank you." Her fingers skim over the cover as she looks down at it.

She half sighed closing her eyes as the room cooled down "Sorry Mark, Moonreaper is not behaving." She glanced at Moonreaper.
Mark looked at his Mother "You should not let him bother you, you know how the Knights are." He reached up and touched her cheek
She smiled at Mark "Yes, yes my son." She moved him "Now go see Domi, I am sure she would enjoy some company with that book." She patted his back
Mark gets up and walked over to Domi "Do you need anything Mom?"
Edward curled up against his Mother yawning "I'm tired Mom." He actually spoke in more modern english showing he wasn't that old.
Cali shifted and pushed herself up her hair falling into her face as she rubbed her eyes and yawned showing her teeth which were perfectly normal no hint of fangs. She stretched fully, before looking around the room still rubbing her eyes "Did I fall asleep?" Her voice was sweet, angelic and had a chime like sound to it.

He stood there watching the exchange of politics and negotiations. He strolled over to Jewel and motioned for her aproval to sit next to her.

*Mercy smiled over to Lav as she took control before walking and sitting back on the arm. She reached down and lightly stroked Edwards sleepy face before kissing Lady's cheek sweetly.* "My . . . My. . . so much seems to go on." *She giggled as she watched Domi, it was always she who could bring out the brighter side in people. Mercy leaned back and crossed her legs while reaching over and playing with Lady's hair. Mercy glanced over to Cali then and nodded.* "You did dear. . . have a good rest atleast?" *Her eyes danced with humor and affection as she watched her wake up.*

She smiled at Mercy "That seems to be the norm around here as of late."
Edward smiled at Mercy a little, his eyes slipping closed as he yawned again curling up against his Mother.
Cali yawned and sighed "I guess, I was fine till I stopped touching Kuroi. Then my normal dreams started up again." She moved and sat up leaning against the arm of the chair her feet barely hanging off the edge of the couch. "Where is Kuroi anyway?" She had her eyes closed again, it was rare she slept at all and even rarer that she seemed to want to sleep more.

morgan walked quickly into the room and sat down on an empty chair in the corner. she didn't belong here in theslightest. she was so uncomfortable as she looked around the room at all the other vampires just siting around chatting
Why can't i be social she thought as she pulled her legs up to her chest and rested her chin on her knees

*He finishes listening to the crystal and idly tosses it back up to the chandelier where it sticks in its original place. Looking at the new girl sitting a little ways off he remembered how it was meeting new people and having to adjust. He smiled in compassion.*
*He turned his attention back to this Genesis... The crystal had relayed everything he had missed with only a few blank spots, this new arrival was indeed curious. Personally he didn't care much for that particular clan...seeing as how he was taking various things from them at one time or another. Hopefully this will develop into a good situation.*

Kuroi bowed before Lavender, "Of course" he said as he moved back to Cali's side. After a short time she awoke.
"I'm right here Cali..." he whispered staring over her with concerned eyes.
"Did you sleep well?" he asked before moving his hands around her face to fix up her hair.
Yamimaru smiled as Mercy placed her back against him he even placed his hands on her shoulders and rubbed them gently before she moved away.
"I disagree Lady... Grog is stronger and more powerful but that means nothing if he cannot catch you... and Kiba is a child, he doesn't have the brain to match up to you... even Ray is to kind hearted to really be a match against you unless you are forcing him to retaliate".

She looked at Yamimaru "Grog I could easily out maneuver, but he could easily kill me with one hit. Ray I can see being a more fair fight if I got him to fight back elements are something I mastered as a child. Kiba he is smarter than people give him credit for, I am sure a match between him and myself would be quite interesting, of course I would fight him as a wolf." She looked at Jewel "Now if any of the more higher Knights would be fun to fight it would be Jewel. Seeing as we fought together growing up, I would love to see if she has changed her fighting style as much as I have." She absentmindedly ran her hand through Edwards hair who was sleeping silently against her.
Cali yawned a little opening her eyes slightly looking at him and nodded a little "Yeah till you moved. Then my old dreams started up." She moved and leaned against him again.
