Phantom_Knight_x_ Rabid Smurf_x_ I agree, it is Dead Sea-rious. That's why I've decided to be the mature one and just let this ship sail. I don't mean to take the wind outta your sails, but you're not getting away that easily with that load of barnacles. I don't mean to be salty about this, but that watered down "better man" stuff just won't sail with me.

You know I will consolidate my thoughts that the group from vigil is just too offensive in personality. I say this because of how they are in ooc. They always compete and bash those around them and thus ruin the environment for people who are waiting for something. For example a tournament they ruin the environment making those there want to leave or inhibiting those who would like to join.
It's like having a group of those ARshholes from League of Legends in roleplay environment. They suck the fun out of the game.

That's why I quit going around your tournament thread, because of those people. Not to mention I despise the way matches are graded and that a win IC doesn't give you the automatic move to the next round. It's asinine that the loser of a match moves on to the next round instead of the person that beat them. Grading should only be used to determine a winner in the case that a winner wasn't decided by the match itself otherwise the match was pointless. I guess I went off on a bit of a rant. Sorry about that. On another note I do have a guild set up to be an arena that we could update some and use if your interested. Here's the homepage. Name can be changed and all that. I feel the threads need to be re-done but I think between the two of us, and any other guildies that are interested, could probably make it into a rather successful Arena.

Yeah I can grasp that. The concept for that though was more of to go against those who might godmode in small ways but yeah. actually this tournament is not mine its a continuation of mine by Slash but It is what it is. I will definitely look at the Arena and see what I can do. When I have the time that is.

Well I truly stopped after the tournament that they hosted out of a guild where after 3 total posts: Jilly, Hank Hill, Jilly ended with Jilly losing to someone RPing as Hank Hill from King of the Hill. I was done at that point. The judges aren't impartial and vote for the person they like better outside of the fight. Just send a join request to the guild and I'll accept it so that you can look around. I don't remember if the guild is private or not off the top of my head.

And my match with Hank made me seriously question joining tourneys like that again. Even the guy playing Hank didn't expect to pass to the next round. If you check back, I think he made it to the Final round. Then again that tourney was a learning experience for the host.

I think the best course of action would be to just cut ties with that group for tourneys, may tourneys in general if it was really that bad.
