As night came, Nami ran into the thick forest. Soon her figure was consumed by the darkness that crept in the depths of the woods. Her presence had also vanished completely. She had gone home.

The bodyguard thanked Rayne, but still continued on with Serenity at his heels. They were running out of time, and now, they were here, where they could get help. Without a thought to what he was doing, Wolf burst into the room Katherine, and the others were. "Queen, we need your help." He called, quickly dropping to his knee and up just as quick.

Katherine looked over seeing wolf feeling surprised by his persance there, she watched him for a long moment standing collecting herself it was almost fake that was seen clear enough for her voice still wavered when she spoke. "Flowing Rivers was not the place for you then.. What is wrong?"

Wolf didn't waste words. "We need a path to Solemn, and you seemed the right person to ask. I know we haven't been entirely truthful to you." Wolf breathed as quick as he could. Serenity poked out her head behind her bodyguard.

He was standing next to Wolf. Taking two steps forward, this figure which carries a large bundle bound in a gray blanket, would hold the object forward. "I have returned with our child. I allowed them to deliver the child for you, and now I am giving it back." Just how large of a crime that was, is anyone's guess, as this child is not supposed to live with 'common folk'. Jack's head would turn aside, this predator's gaze landing upon Wolf. "Solemn is it."

Katherine rushed forward taking the child, he had come through she smiled looking up to Jack and then down to the now baby in her arms he held her bright purple eyes and oddly enough dark hair. She looked down to it with a smile a boy, she had known it would be. She said nothing to absorbed in the moment for anything else.

Wolf didn't look at jack. "Yes, solemn, the realm of the gods." Wolf replied, watching Katherine. Serenity moved out from behind Wolf, coming to stand beside the average size man.

He remains silent another few moments before answering. "Alright. You wish to go where you are not supposed to. I like that, and I will allow you to the next plane upwards." He turns his head, gazing forward towards Katherine. "Tell me when you will like to go."

Wolf smiles, his eerily familiar smile. "Right now would be the best time. Me and Serenity." he replied graciously, still not looking at jack, but at katherine. He had been right to come to this place, even if neither were supposed to be trusted.

His right hand lifts, his left hanging at his side. Dark blue light glows within the center of his palm before it rises upwards, forming a dimly lit orb of that same color. "I am going to take your souls." The orb floats upwards, and above his head. "I do not care about your reasons for going, but you may not wish to trust me. I can change my mind.. accidentally."

Matachi came down stairs to see them all there, he saw Katherine holding something. Walking towards her he stopped behind her "What you got there hun?" he asked in a gentle voice

The wolf giggles. "Oh go ahead, go ahead. It's our bodies that need to go to Solemn, where only souls reside." Then he laughs, letting it eerily echo through the halls. He turns to jack, and looks at the blue orb. Such things as souls were useless on husks like him, or demons like Serenity.

She smiled some looking up to Matachi back down to the child and then to Jack and back to the babe she moved him slightly so Matachi could see him he looked back to Matachi the child did and started screaming. Katherine only laughed softly after that she had paid little attention to wolf whatever it was it seemed Jack was handling it.

Matachi looked at the child closely, he saw...nothing...that looked like it could have been his own child. Matachi looked at her and to Jack, straightening up abit "I see." He said in a sad sounding tone. Stepping away he turned from her and head upstairs, each of his footsteps sounding like sadness through it all.

She didn't seem to notice she was watching the babe. Her sons now she had never get to see so small.. never her smile hadn't faded. "Thanatos" She said with a smile soothing him back to silence or little baby noises because she could do that.
