Well according to myths, there was a large wolf like creature, named: Reanse', that used to be a pet of a great hero but its owner was struck down in a battle, the wolf ran away and it became feral with the other wolves already in the forest. Pretty much goes around and kills anything in its path due to its inner anger of its old masters killer..
Rumor was that ever creature it ate, it grew bigger..much bigger..then one day it killed the guy who killed its heroic owner..

Somehow im not sure its a myth...
