*Chris was out wandering the campus at night. He had a couple of things on his mind. One, finding Kraven. The sneaky little slimeball had gone to ground somewhere in Midvale and even Mr. Allen hadn't heard a thing. Two, the Pannie Thief. He was sure she would strike again but where?
As Chris was pondering these issues, he heard the crack of a gunshot. He instantly armored up.*
What the?
*Chris took to the air to see what he could see.*

"Damn it. Where did the perp go?"
Tommy Monoghan gritted his teeth as he turned away from the boys dorms and started sweeping toward the girls.
Standing a mere three feet away from Tommy, Hartley held his breath and prayed that his new device would keep working.
A sonic dampener, that's what he thought he'd call it...a device that used sound waves the same way a deer whistle installed on a car made deer instinctively stay away from the vehicle when it was in motion...unable to be heard by the human ear but still affecting the brain nonetheless.
It took the vigilante club off his trail by making him seem virtually invisible to them.
Hartley limped inside the dorm.
This was bad...really bad. If he went to the school infirmary, they'd know right away that he was the one who was trying to break into Wayne's office. Instant expulsion.
He limped up the stairs to the hallway with his room on it. He grabbed his side tenderly...even wearing a black bodysuit like he was, it was obvious that he'd been hit right under the ribs and the outfit was starting to get soaked. Pain shot up his right side and he realized he wouldn't be able to take care of this on his own.
He wasn't going to risk going to the Snart's apartment. The rest of the Rogues were already gone for the holiday.
Hart bit his lower lip and knocked lightly on Wallace and Teddy's dorm door. He positioned himself so that only his head and upper body would be visible if the door was opened.

"Do you really want that though? It'd be continual slobbery kisses," Wallace continued, spinning in his chair again before sliding off of it at the sound of the knock. "Probably him right now." He rolled his eyes and headed to the doorway, cracking it open. "Hey Billy, wh-- oh." He stood to the side, holding the door open. "Hey Hart, what's up?"

"I was thinking back rubs. Cracking my back and stuff. For serious, I need that all the time." Teddy looked up, saw Hartley and from his awkward posture, assumed he needed to pee. "I just cleaned the bathroom today. It should be awesome." Without another word, he went back to studying.

Billy lounged back on his bed. Sure he thought he should be in Teddy's room, supervising his study habits, but he'd been riding him pretty hard (pun intended) as of late with the math exam, so he thought he'd give the big guy a break.
Besides, he still had one last exam to take in the morning before his `rents came to pick him up. Daimon Hellstrom was a looker, and a powerful sorcerer in his own right, but he was a demanding teacher and Billy was determined to ace this test. He had already learned he got A's in all of his other classes.
Of course those other classes didn't have testing factors on things like transmogrification and the basic healing spells.

"It smells really nice in there too. I mean, we don't have a doorknob, but you can't see much through it. Well, actually it depends where you're standing. Great view of the shower, not so good of the potty."

Hartley had his arms crossed in front of himself and stretched his lips tightly in what could be the smile of someone who had to pee really bad, or possibly someone who had just been shot in the gut. Either one.

"Oh yeah sure, totally." Wallace headed back to his desk, grabbed his flow charts, and headed back out the door. "I made flow charts."

Hartley held out his keys with one arm, the other still hugging himself.

Teddy slid off his bed and decided that he'd better visit Billy before he left tomorrow. He headed over to his dorm room and knocked. "Babe?"

Hartley uncrossed his arms and started to waver a bit.
"I got...I was...
test answers..."
The shock was starting to settle in and he lurched forward a step.
"Vigilante Club seems to be out running some exercises..."
