Okay, perhaps I jumped the gun >.> Had a small falling out with my friends I was going to room with and now they're telling me they would prefer to find somebody else to take the vacancy. Oh life, you tease me.

Oh dear. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you can get things patched up with the person, regardless of whether it allows you to move out or not.

Perhaps just a little bit overexcited there when I jumped the gun. :P If nothing else, the prospect has at least given me the motivation to find a way to move out - by myself or otherwise. I've found a friend that wants to room with me, but we'll have to wait until spring because neither of us are 21 yet and can't sign the lease. (Birthday in December, hooray!) If I end up having to get a 1br1ba for myself instead, it'll cost a little more, but it's still manageable.

Spring is not really too-too far away. :3 That gives you time to pack up and prepare, and look around to see what you might need in the way of supplies and furniture, and then scour garage sales and Craig's List. ^^

Indeed indeed. ^^ Most of the prep is going to be financially, as I have very little assets I care to take along, and I think I would feel safer if I had a few months worth of rent saved up as a safety net so I can move wherever and have ample time to start getting a paycheck.
Filling a house with furniture, cooking utensils, and similar things will be difficult at first, but I have faith things will work out. Even if I sleep on the floor and eat ramen for a week. :P
I will say though, it feels very strange talking with you about moving out. :o I was a little kid when we first met! This is crazy!

It's that wonderful time of the year when I have to look at student evaluations. Must go to the liquor store for lots o' booze.

Speaking of booze, I just had some alcohols earlier tonight. Unfortunately my family is.. very boring, so alcohols did not make the night very fun, haha.
Though I have learned that peach schnapps plus vodka plus orange juice is very delicious.
I've also learned that although I can drink rum to my heart's content, vodka gives me a headache pretty easily. Though I have a friend who's the opposite, where rum makes her very sick, and she can drink vodka all night long. /)_(\

Sqqquuueee! I just got this today on DA: And one day before my birthday too :'3! lol Looking forward to tomorrow. Pete, his parents, and I are heading to Garmisch for the week for vacation/birthday celebrations for me and his mom (Her b-day is Sept 13th). Might get to go white water rafting and para-gliding 8D
