I used to main Dual Swords and Sword and Shield, but after getting the hang of the Gunlance I just couldn't put it down. And I get hit every so often by the bombs, but their stopping power and stun chance on bosses are too good to pass up.

Wait till you get to Narugakuruga. Sure they stun it for a few seconds, but those few seconds end in disaster when it becomes enraged. But his rage mode is a double edged sword since that's the only time he can fall into pit fall traps. It's easier to flash him, set the trap(then make a new one), and then sonic bomb him.
Also I'm in the process of editing my last earth post and then I'll make a new one. Also I'll probably finish up Fortis as well.

Is it bad that I rarely find myself using the pit fall trap? Normally the shock trap does fine, so I don't really use anything else. (Though Yian Kut Ku seemed all kinds of immune to it.) But if you ever decide to work with the lance/gunlance the main thing you want to keep in mind is blocking is a last resort; just get evasive gear and stab away. And with the gunlance specifically, combo attacks are key; the idea is to get in two stabs then fire; the gun shot cancels the combo counter, so you can immediately attack again. Plus, you always want to save the charged shot for when it matters most, due to the long cool down on it. It's own real draw back is the gun shots take away sharpness as well, so you really go through wetstones on long missions.
And once you finish up your posting in Earthrelam I'll finish the buu goes boom of Kyros, ending with Asuka/Shinji producing a shield for everyone.

Naruga falls into it for about one minute. So you get sooooooo many free hits on him it's ridiculous. And since he's hard to hit otherwise because he's so fast, it's very helpful.

Before "DLC" there was the "Expansion Pack" and you bought them knowing there was a whole game worth of stuff in it.

BlazBlue are epic win. Just wish I had more people to face off against that I know; I'm still getting the hang Just Blocking and I'm only able to use Noel with any chance of success against high ranking fighters.
MAG is pretty beastly too.

I am unable to play FPS or fighters on a PS controller anymore. They feel far too awkward and uncomfortable to me after playing both genres on a 360 controller, which are by far the most comfortable controllers I have ever used.

Sorry for the delay, I had bronchitis all last week. In the meantime, I finally beat the Ethereal Queen on Infinity difficulty in Undiscovery, and she was actually hard this time. Also, I discovered I am good at another shooting game. I have been playing Queers of War, and I actually am pretty good at it. I am almost done with Insane difficulty, and I noticed, if you skip Harcore, you still get the achievements for Hardcore when you fulfill the same requirements for Insane. Plus, I like the story, and Marcus Fenix, sadly, is sexier than Ganondorf. His a*****e ******** personality makes him more attractive, and a more interesting and fun character to play as. On a different note, what shoudl we do about the RP? I want to wrap this current plot in Earth and Torasia soon, but after that I was thinking, of having it continue years later, in the midst of the World war of earth, with some of the characters kids, and others being the teachers. So, how are all you peeps?

GoW is alright. Fun fact though: you're playing the bad guys in the Gears series.
As for the controller, I cannot stand playing fighters with it, it's too imprecise. The only fighters I have for the 360 are DoA 1-3 and Colosseum, mostly due to they are the better/only versions. However, I'll admit the overall design is indeed better for shooters, although the analog placement still bugs the crap out of me.
And still pretty much been alternating between MAG and BlazBlue. Playing the occasional Red Alert 3: Commanders Challenge when I need a good ol RTS break.

It is a little imprecise, but with the PlayStation controllers my hands cramp up really fast. So when I play a fighting game on my PS2 I can only play in short stints. It kinda sucks.
Started playing Dungeon Fighter online again though. Finally got to my first sub class. I decided to go with Nen Master. Sadly they use cloth armor like mages. So when soloing I'm a super squishy melee/ranged class. So I have to keep a second set of armor until I get my hardcore defense skills when I get level 35+. First thing I noticed was the major drop in damage I took. Oh well, I get an invincibility shield, a Summon that is a tiger made of pure energy, giant ******** laser blasts, exploding clones, a ******** energy dragon, and some field that orbits me like the old model of electrons and does damage to enemies around me. Also cant wait for Thunder Suplex. Which is an upgrade to my most abused move in the beginner class skill set; Suplex. ******** blasts the poor mob with a bolt of lightning after suplexing them straight into hell and back.

Well, I figured the Humans were the bad guys, but I like being the bad guy anyway, so more fun for me. That is still beside the point that Marcus is an a*****e and is totally queer for Dom. I don't really have much problem with the360 controller for fighters, it really doesn't seem too different, I actually have grown to like the design better than the PS2 one, especially since the 360 controller seems to be a lot better at not breaking on me. Every PS2 controller I have gotten in the past few years gets crapped after about 3-4 months. The joysticks begin to stick, usually in one direction, the buttons begin to die sometimes. Not to mention my PS2 itself is defective, hence it stopped playing DVDs, and half of my games, after the first 2 months. Which sux cuz I couldn't play Rogue Galaxy. Setting console arguments aside, what should we do for the next main plot? Should we set it directly next, or have it start years later? (Either way, Xiaeriene and Nergal are not going to play much role in the RP after this)

I suppose a few years later would be good. Kyosuke is supposed to "die" at the end of this story arch.

Yeah, I just need Travis's input on this, after all, if it moves years ahead, Haruko and Xiaedessa may have a kid that will go to the school(RPed by Travis, obviously) Zangonya was suppose to end up with Brutus(Ironic as Zangonya tries to be a chick and Brutus is actually a girl posing as a guy) And they were suppose to have a kid as well. Vain, what say you? Also, once you guys post in Fortis, I'll wrap up Xiaeriene's scenario, then she and Nergal will be off to the Emperor to ask for his blessing for them to be wed. On a side note, what are your views on Boobs?
