Soap just sighed with dissapointment. He completely forgot to teach her about various code talk that the task force used. So, he tried his best to tell her as fast as he could. "Listen, a b-52 stealth bomber is making it's way across the battlefield, dropping high explosive bombs in a straight line. Unless you want one of your friends to be killed in the explosion, get them out of there!" He warned her. It was just after he sent the warning that the roar of the engines of the B-52 could vaguely be heard in the distance.
Joseph continued to fire arrows that were set on fire by the lava bow, while Selen continued to break the barrier down with her blade. "Hmm, so you DO know some buffs.You should have mentioned that!" She exclaimed while dodging another one of the blows the colossus was throwing. It wasn't long, however, until the giant began getting tired and it turned back into it's more vunerable state. "Now mage, finish it off!" Selen called out to Oomizu

As they pasted the turrets the building was getting closer. Suddenly other bikers appeared and started trying to ram them off the bikes. Souji quickly reacted by pulling out his side arm and shooting one of the guys in the head. He really had no time to mess with them. "Punks" he said simply

Haku listened carefully to what Soap said, and as soon as he said bomb, she began messing with the wires in her head phones. She tried a couple of times doing tests before she was certain she found one to reach Emmett. Soap could probably hear Haku since she still had the radio on. "Emmett-sama, there are stealth bombers moving in the direction of the ground fighters. It is important they get out quickly or they will be bombed along with the robots."
Neru made a whining noise and threw her arms in the air. "Why didn't you try giving us any sort of a warning before hand! Do you even realize that Haku and I are in a building away from the group since she's only good with riffles and my sword is useless against these things?! Gah! You're an even bigger moron than I thought! Hku, I disapprove of any feelings you had for this man! Hurry up! We need to get some where safe before he kills us!"
Haku sighed in the closest thing to annoyance she had. "Neru-chan, he meant well. It s not shooting them was slowing down there attack all that much. Just grab some ammo and let's get some where safe. You too, Soap-kun." Yes she stopped calling him by his actual name. That was the closest to angry name-calling as she would probbly ever get.
"What the hell's a buff?!" Jeeze. This Selen girl was just as bad as Scout asking for a dispenser, what ever that was. Oh well. Oomizu could figure it out later. For now, she kept the barriers up as the other to weakened the giant more and more. It took a second for Oomizu to realize "mage" was her, but as soon as she understood, she gave a snap of the alchemy gloves and sent another fire ball at the giant before she surrounded her sword in purifying energy and charged it to give a powerful blow, just in case the fire didn't finish it.
Meiko felt some one ram into her and growled. "Get away from me, jerk!" She quickly, but carefully, stood on the bike and gave a hard side kick to the guy's head before she allowed herself to fall back into place and caught up to Souji. "You saw what he tried to do to me, right? How rude to treat a lady that way."

Souji couldnt help but chuckle a bit at her little rant. "Its ok baby, just focus on the goal and get rid of anything that stands in our way" he told her as he took a few more shots at some more bikers comming off to the sides of them.

It was pretty obvious that when things were over, she wouldn't even listen to him. So, Soap decided to let her know there and then. "Listen, chances are I may not live through this, so let me explain. I only did the things I did so that you could be more independant. So you could learn to stand up for yourself and not have to live a life based on negativety. If I did that, then my life would mean more then just killing for vengance or some other reason." He told her. "I don't know it matters or not, but I didn't want you to be with me because of the life I can offer. So my training was the least I could do." He told her as he turned off the radio.
After both the fire and the impalement, the colossus went down easily. Melting into the ground into a pink goup with only it's demon soul left behind. "Yes! Another quest completed!" Selen told herself as she whipped out her quest log and scribbled a bit before slamming it shut. Joseph, however, didn't wait long before darting off further into tue cave. Astraea was finally near. He could feel it!

After he saw that the citizens had gotten a safe distance away, he looked back to where Yuzuki was blown to. He saw that a building had collapsed on her and a few of the robots. Raidou quickly started running toward where Yuzuki was. A group of three more robots was charging towards him. A large hammer flew right past Raidou and struck one of the robots into submission. He smirked a little when he looked and saw Thor running closely behind him. Raidou drew his katana, and attempted to block another robots attack, knowing he wouldn't be able to cut through it. He was able to deflect a fatal blow from the machine's blades. However, the robot was able to cut him, leaving a rather large cut on his left side. Thor quickly took back his hammer and began to pummel one robot while using his lightning attacks on the other. Raidou used this opportunity to rush over to the collapsed building to try and find some sign of Yuzuki.

Meiko nodded to Souji before she shot at some one coming towards her. She wasn't going to play around with this. She knew how important it was to win this race and get to Shodan. She didn't want that horrid woman taking over her home and controlling her friends and family.
Haku listened to what Soap said with disbelief. He was going to have himself die for somethig that, to her, sounded so silly? What was he thinking. Well, he got his wish. She was going to start standing up for herself and not take any more of people's crap, starting with both his and Neru's. Neru was still ranting when Haku yelled out for her to be quiet.
Neru stopped talking instantly and looked to Haku in shock. Haku had never once raised her voice... Ever! What the hell was going on? "What? You never had a problem with me talking before. What is you issu-"
"Just stop it already." There was a cold hint to Haku's voice. The only other person Neru could think of that had ever used such a cranky and cold tone of voice towards her was Dell, Haku's brother. What was more shocking was the fact that Haku then gave orders to her, which she didn't do even when they both worked with Zatsune to try taking over their world. "Neru, go join with every one else and make sure they find a safe place to avoid being bombed. I am going to talk Soap-kun out of getting himself killed... Or knock him unconcious. Which ever one I find easiest." Haku traded her riffle for a machine gun and made sure to carry tons of ammo before she turned and started running in the direction she believed Soap to be.
Neru stood in disbelief as she watched Haku run off. "... When did she get a back bone?" She quickly gathered some ammo for her gun and began running towards where all the fighting was happening.
Oomizu panted lightly as she caught her breath for a moment. Holding up two shields and then using all that purifying energy to finish off the monster was a lot more tiring than she had thought it would be. As soon as she saw Joseph take off, she was quick to follow. She wasn't about to let Joseph out of her sights.

Joseph continued down the cave, knowing that she was close. After a bit of climbing down the cave, he found a large underground area. A large cavern with muck at the bottom. The dumping area for the children. If she was anywhere, she was here. After a quick look-around, he suddeny grew silent. He even didn't know that he had dropped his blade and shield in disbelief. There she was, down in a small area, tending to various others within their area of the swamp. He simply ran down the path towards her, tears in his eyes out of happiness. "Astraea!"
Soap just continued to fire down with his Javelin missle, knowing that this was almost exactly like the moment when Shepard betrayed him. He just placed his empty vessel of the missle, and he just picked up his barret and kept his cool as he fired down upon the onslaught.

The building was right ahead. Souji could almost taste victory. "This was too easy huh babe?" he said as he sped up. But as he approached, a biker passed infront of them leaving a wall as he did. Souji struggled to break but it was too late, as he was catapulted over the wall and his bike ruined on impact. He landed several yards across the street just lucky to still be alive.
The machines below struggled to keep afloat under the constant barrage. One of them managed to find where Soap was hiding and fired a energy pulse in his direction.

((There's just not really anything for me to post except more of the same. The Uberchage ended, I don't think I posted that, but Medic's still just healing Heavy. Spy's still taking potshots here and there to already injured robots to finish them off, making a comment here and there only to get no reaction from Hiruko. Jack's still flying around and shooting things. that's about it.))

((Sorry about not having much reaction from Hiruko. He's rather indifferent to people in general, so it's really hard for me to make comments when all he's useful at this point is standing gaurd at where the people unable to fight are since his powers probably wouldn't work on the robots. =( If you want, Neru's going to be in the area. I'm sure they could have quite the interesting conversation why she attempts taking pot shots as well...
And did Emmett get Haku's message?))
Haku continued making her way towards where she hoped Soap would be. She was forced to stop every once in a while to catch her breath and defend herself from attacks, but she was otherwise doing her best to keep moving. She just hoped she could find John before he got himself killed.
Neru was already fighting amongst the crowd, but not so much fighting as much as finishing off what others had started so she could take credit for fnishing off the robots. After this, she was probably just going to hide some where and nap. All of this moving around and actually doing stuff was... exhausting. She never had to do this much work back home... Wel, she did, but she actually had the ability to say "******** it" and take a nap instead.
After watching how affective Heavy's new gun was, Scout was actually a little gidy at the thought that he might have new toys like that to pound enemies. He felt more excited at the thought of new weapons than he had as a kid on Christmas Day! Sadly, he would have to make due with shooting at the robots with his pistol in attempt to break them. He could always check later. Who knew? Maybe a second wave of robots would come a few hours after this unch was finished off and he could try out what ever he ended up fnding!
Soldier grinned widely as he continued shooting his rockets at the enemies. He noted he was running low on how many rockets he could shoot, and since he didn't want to miss any chance to get to fight, he decided to start throwing grenades at the mechanical monsters. Yeah, he wasn't following the doctor's orders, but when did he normally do so? At last this time he had a good excuse and could say he did so with good intent.
Meiko just barely managed to avoid collision with the wall and watched in horror as Souji impacted. "Souji!" Meiko suddenly got a murderous expression on her face as she sped up to catch up with the other biker. Once she had, she pulled out her gun and shot the player in the head at least twice before she cut him off and sped towards where Souji was. She just hoped he was alright.
Oomizu chased after Joseph. She wanted to make sure her brother was alright. Yeah, she felt bad for leaving Selen behind, but she sensed the other girl would understand Oomizu's worry over Joseph. She caught up to him finally when he stopped. For some one who was technically dead, he could run pretty fast. She panted lightly to catch her breath before he was running down the path again towards Astraea. Oomizu gave a light smile. She knew she didn't need to chase after him this time. He was safe and headed towards the woman he loved. She just hoped they had gotten there before anything bad could have truly happened...

Wow did Durban's story line finally finished now that they found that chick?
And just wait ruki you will have your hands full soon XD))
Souji stood up as he held his back "Ugh... that sucked." he said as he looked to Meiko "Dont worry baby im ok" he said with a smile "Its ganna take alot to take me down" he said as he looked up to the building "Ok lets get in there and get out of here" he said as he opened the front door. walking in they started climbing, shortly after they could see the end.
"Oh my... you actually made it" Hexadecimal said as she stood there looking at them "Well like in all games you have to defeat the boss" he laughed "Get ready.... here i come!" she said as she made a dash at them, electricity coursing through her hand as she attacked them with a lightning charged attack.

((sorry mav, but anybody here who's played demon's souls knows that this isn't the last stop just yet. I still got a little bit more left to do. About 4 more points to get to. I'll finish hopefully by the end of the week if i'm lucky xp.))

((Durbaaaaaaaannnnnnnn. We can't advance in your plot when you talk about it but don't actually pooooost! XP ))
Meiko was thankful that Souji was alright and followed him as they made their way up the stairs. They actually were going to win, and easily too! Or, so it seemed. Hexadecimal appeared and Meiko went from excited and giddy to flat out disappointed and looking like she was bored out of her mind at the sight of the... woman? Meiko pulled out her microphone stand and looked to Souji. "Ready when you are." She got into a defensive stance as she searched for any weak points to aim at Hexadecimal to at least throw her off balance.
