Jenannen Congrats on a green name Cardi. Belated thanks, Jen! <3 *mwee* New computer. I used my previous one for 8 years, so getting a new one is rather exciting for me. I mourn for my old computer, though. ;_;

I love everyone's avi's! 4laugh i havent bought anything new in a LONG time.. and I never do the RIGs and they are always so over priced in the market that I just dont bother lol
Air Force talk: Matt's in the airforce xd I dont know about being screwed over when going overseas though.. I know he used to live in Japan for 3yrs and he never complained about anything.. I also know he would LOVE to go to Germany, but there are no assignments he can apply for over there at this time. So most likely after our Hawaii tour (which ends this year) we will be going to most likely Maryland.. or Texas... or even in California.. who knows lol but i know its down to those three places.. we find out in August!

She's actually referring to Bri and I, I believe. We got screwed over on an assignment due to the personal opinion of a civilian employee. Without getting into alot of details, our assignment was turned down due the undue diligence and flexability of THAT particular staff member. That, and we weren't even told why our assignment was turned down. I had to hunt down the corresponding personnel at Kadena to get the answer.

Jude: You're welcome.
*huggles Bridgey* Thanks. Wow, I had no idea that ferrets could catch the flu from humans.
Meri: Yeah, at least we were still able to get Kay to school. She's already missed more than she's "allowed" this year.
Yeah, illnesses tend to make their way through our family too. Though it's usually Hubby, not Kay, who doesn't get sick.
*hugs Vinny* Thanks. <3
You're welcome Cardi.
Now for a much needed ranting on my part about the joys of home ownership. Rain, rain, and more rain... Flooded basement... Hubby digging out the window well... Broken window... Mud all over the house. stressed stressed stressed gonk crying

On a happy note though... yesterday CS5 arrived. Over a month earlier than the pre-order date I was given. Now I just need to find out how to show/give Adobe a copy of Hubby's teacher ID so we can get things up and running. (presently haven't even opened the box)

@_@ Just found out that our schedule has been keeping the neighbors up.
Bri was vacuuming around 2 AM, and about 10 minutes later, the daughter of our landlord started banging on our door.
We'll be going over tomorrow to apologize. However, they also know our schedules are not normal. We'll be explaining to them that if they want certain hours to remain quiet that they need to specify what they are and when. (Since this was never discussed when we first signed the lease. I've also asked on a couple of occassions if we've made too much noise, but Kairn, the landlord, has said No.)
The shoe on the other foot, however... When they have had parties, or been loud during the day when I have shift work, we have been tolerant and not said anything..
So, ever have anyone living next to you that made too much racket?
