Hanae, I'm sorry to hear about the kitty troubles.

I got a cavity filled yesterday.
Not as bad as wisdom teeth removal, but I can sympathize.
I survived California... Yay!
The day after we got home Hubby and I were SICK.
The next Day El was sick and throwing up all over everything.
Kay never got it and it seems to have hit Essy only mildly
(I think thanks to her getting antibodies from Mommy)
I'm due to renew my lisence this month.
(On the 29th I'll be another year older.)
I don't know how I'm going to manage,
what I'm told is likely to be, a 4 hour wait.
Nursing baby & a kindergartner. stressed

Lupess: EEk, i had all mine taken out before senior year in high school. I got them all done seperately, so it was 4 visits in total, 6 if you include pre and post visit. I now believe good created pain killers heart

*Huggles Jen* Poor thing ;_; It sucks when the whole family gets hit with illness like that. When me and Peter were hit a few weeks after getting here to Germany, it was horrible having two sick people in the bed together X'D And since we were unsure if it was the flu or not, we couldn't really interact with the ferrets (they can actually catch the flu from humans very easily)

Jen: Aiyah...at least not everyone got sick!
Man, I remember one time our entire family went down with a nasty cold one after the other. The kiddle brought it home from school and gave it to the tot, and they proceeded to give it to me, then Hubby, then Granmi. x_x The house was filled with the sound of unhappy people for MONTHS.

I had a dream last night that I joined the military. In the dream I ended up being shuffled through China and Southeast Asia for a couple of weeks at a time in giant military planes. They were more like houses in the sky, actually. Maybe I was flying in a blimp or something.
It was pretty crazy how my personality changed during these weeks too. I went from pretty reserved to a 'screw it all' type of attitude, talking to people I wouldn't normally (complete strangers) and doing crazy things like spending an evening at a stranger's house just because they invited me in.
IRL, I'm more than sure that academia is my calling, but there's always a little voice in the back of my mind that thinks it'd be interesting to be in the military for a term.

Honestly: Depending on what branch your in, its a different experience. I would recommend the Air Force or the Navy if you are truely interested, as Army and Marines are either getting shot at, or doing the shooting. Navy is more "Ho s**t, I'm on a boat...FOR-EVA-ERRRRRR." But from what I'm told its not so bad. Air Force is probably the most lax service I have seen. And of course you know I speak from personal experience. They also provide way better services to their members than the other branches. (Child Development Center for single parents is a must. Then the medical and dental.)
