Hmmm there was no Chunnin Exam.
There was a general exam that you entered at your own risk knowing that anything and everything can happen in this Naruto-esque world. It kinda seemed obvious demotion was a possibility if they allowed any rank or class to enter. This was a exam that transcended all and most guild rules, like allowing Missing nins to enter and advance their rankings.
Exactly! Every time I was on and someone asked if the Chuunin exams were coming up, I always told them no, they weren't. Because my exam wasn't the Chuunins or the Jounins, it was something new instead!

telling everyone the next Chuunin [a ******** straight up Chuunin Exam] the first week of December...
Again, I never said that, that was due to a bit of confusion on who was hosting the next test. Originally, everyone thought it was going to be Reaper, and his exam probably would have been a normal Chuunins exam. Then when I got told to go ahead and do mine instead, this all happened.

You know, all this talk about the exams made me look back into the guild rules and I stumbled on something rather interesting. Take note of Rule 22:

22 Once becoming a Missing Nin, you are not allowed to enter in the Chuunin or Jounin Exams. You will never be able to do this again, so take heed before becoming Missing Nin!
Has anyone here been a missing nin and took place in the exams? If you had and were demoted, technically, you can keep your current title as you were not even supposed to be able to take part in it. Please PM me if you were a missing nin and took part in it anyways even if you managed to pass. Don't worry, I'm not going to go berserk and strike down your character. I just want to know.
And once again, my exam was not a Chuunin or a Jounin exam. It was something different, made for the express purpose of being open to everyone.

True, I didn't. But then again, when I posted, numerous times in the OOC and elsewhere, that the test was open to everyone, and that there were chances for promotion, nobody bothered telling me then, either.
I think it's safe to say that my attempt to shake things up either went far too well, or horribly failed. With that in mind, I suppose it's best if I scrap my idea for the SL I had been working on, because if people complained this much over a little test, I don't even want to imagine how much worse they'll get with a SL. I guess this guild just isn't prepared for someone like me, my ideas are just too far out of the box. Nobody wants change, everyone should just be a cookie-cutter Generic Ninja. Boring.
