Kira smiled "Oh im sorry your hearring must be off. I said no." She took ryou by the hand "come on ryou we'll go find atem ourself." since they got there They had bathed so you could nolonger tell kira had any old wound.
"bakura..bakura listen to me...you have to calm down. Now just take a deep breath in..." rei instrcted.
((I was thinking mabye pull ember into this world...I've had this whole big idea...))

[Ohh... And she steals some food so is taken to the palace to be judged by the priests or something, where Atem sees her?]
Seto frowned, then glanced over at his guards. As Ryou and Kira turned to go try and locate the pharaoh, the guards withdrew folded scraps of clothe from their pockets. Jumping forward, both of the guards pressed the clothes, which had a substance similar to chloroform on them, against Ryou and Kira's noses and mouths to make them pass out. "C-can't, the blood will come and f-fill me, fill my lungs until I choke on th-them..." Bakura said weakly, his breathing picking up the pace as he struggled to remain calm and not let the overwhelming shaking take over him. Soon he found he couldn't talk anymore and his eyes rolled to the back of his head as his body was wracked with violent shudders, his muscles twitching and convulsing with his current seizure.

((well I was thinking she finds a piece of jewerly on the ground and sombody thinks she stole it so they takeher to the palace)) Kira stuggled viloently to stay awake. At the last moment Kira reached out creating a mind link with atem The mind link ended as kiras eyes sliped closed.
Rei became worriedas she kept him on his side holding him still. He hadent had a seizure in a long time.

Atem, however, hadn't even intended on speaking with Kira or Ryou. Seto had just said that to get them to come. The pharaoh, the lazy person he was, had still been sleeping. Kira's feeble message only became a part of his dream of oranges that unpeeled themselves while dancing over an open fire that had marshmallows singing songs around the fire. There was also a drunken sheep that had been speaking, then abruptly bleated out 'Atem... damn... preist...'. Atem didn't wake up, didn't even stir. "We'll take them to the healers." Seto said, as the two struggled a moment before both fainted. "First thing, the Millennium Eye needs to be removed. And then we'll see about the payment."
The guards nodded, one grabbing Kira around the waist and tossing her over his shoulder, the other starting to pick Ryou up as well. “Wait.” Seto said, holding up a hand. “Not him. I’ve changed my mind. I need to see about the payment now. We can’t have this boy stealing from the pharaoh any more than he already has, can we?” He questioned mockingly, running a hand over his Millennium Rod. “Of course not.” He said in response to his own question. “Take him to my chamber, and fetch Akhenaden. I need to speak to the pharaoh right now.” With that he turned and left, as one of the guards brought Kira to the healer’s station to have her Millennium Eye removed without having her bleed to death, and the other bringing Ryou into Seto’s chamber. It seemed to take Bakura longer than usual for his seizure to end. When it did he just lay there, on his side, his eyes unfocused as the world swirled around him. He felt sick; there was an uncomfortable tension in his stomach. His senses slowly came back to him and he struggled viciously not to cry, allowing himself to rest against Rei. He was thirsty, but didn't want to ask for a drink; he just wanted to rest right then.

In the healers it took a moment to get the bleeding to stop but they finaly did. Kira had still lost a bit of blood and laid weakly in a bed as they cleaned her up.
Tears started to run down rei's cheaks as she gently ran her fingers threw his hair. That had scared her so much.
((Sure. Im thinking its been a while in the present time. Embers gone threw anger management (kawi forced her) and is calmer than she used to be. Ember still has long hair but she died it brown to be a bit more normal looking))

The pharaoh was still snoozing happily away when Seto entered his room. He stood over the pharaoh for quite some time, unable to help himself. His icy blue eyes softened somewhat at he watched the rise and fall of the sleeping man’s chest, perfectly content with just standing there for hours on end, perhaps. However, the pharaoh may have heard something, or been aware that he was being watched, for his crimson eyes fluttered open. He peered up at Seto through an unfocused vision, before sitting up properly, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
"Seto? Ugh, what do you want?" Atem asked groggily, yawning hugely afterwards. "And why can't it wait until later?"
"I am deeply sorry, my lord, but we have found our first thief. Though I am sure that there are many, many others out there, this one was actually in the palace. Apparently he has been sleeping in your rooms and eating your food without any form of payment for it. Priest Akhenaden and I have already agreed that he should pay, not by death, of course, for his actions. Make him work off the debt he owes you for what he has done." Seto's eyes glimmered slightly, but the pharaoh was still too sleepy to notice this. "However, since the law is still fairly new, Akhenaden wanted to make sure it was okay by you before we put the criminal to work. Is it?"
"Oh, Seto, can't this wait until later?" Atem asked, yawning again. The priest shook his head, saying something about how they should act quickly. "Fine, fine. Yes, priest, I trust your judgment with the criminal. See to it that he is not punished too severely, though..." He muttered before laying back down, rolling over to get some more sleep. Seto grinned, bowing low. "Oh, my lord, I would never do any such a thing..." He said, then quickly left to go to his chambers. It was time to put a certain boy to work now, by law of the pharaoh.
--- Rubbing his tears away, Bakura sat up. "I-I'm sorry, I just... Bad dream." He said hoarsely, placing a hand on Rei's shoulder as he struggled to make the room stop swirling around him. "...of Kul Elna." He continued, wondering if he should say it in detail, or just leave it at that. He didn't like the part of the nightmare when Rei had been drowning in that giant sea of blood.
--- Meanwhile, on the other side of the world and thousands of years in the future from that moment, Yugi let out a sigh. He seemed to have steadily sunken further and further down in a depression; he hadn't been separated like this from his yami since he had first received the Millennium Puzzle. Even when they had gotten their own bodies, he always had that mind link that he could hear a comment, or ask a question. And now, that was suddenly gone. He knew Ember had been hit hard by their disappearance, but Yugi had lost more. while before the boy seemed to have been able to smile 24/7, now he had to strain himself to be cheerful around Kawi.

Ember sighed softly As she walked in the room. Ember was much calmer then she used to be. She dident yell as much and dident hit or use violence. She really dident seem to talk much anymore. She sat on the couch just staring up at the celing.
"I understand...It just scared me..." She said and gently hugged him "relax..."

Yugi looked up as she entered. "Hey." He greeted softly, shifting a little. He followed Ember's gaze upwards. "Anything interesting up there?"
"I need to kill the pharaoh." Bakura whispered in a voice that said his mind was already made up. "Now. I can feel them, the spirits... They know I'm not doing my job. They now feel that I should have been killed alongside them, they had tried to drag me down..." He stared at his wrist. "I need to avenge them. The pharaoh must die. I don't care if I die as well; just so long as he is dead."

Bakura shook his head. "No... This is something I have to alone, Rei. Or do you not see that?" His tone had started to become cold. "What, do you believe that all this is just some little entertainment I wanted one day, that anybody who wants to can come along to 'help' or watch? I think not. The pharaoh owes me a great debt, and I fully intend on making him pay with every drop in his body. That doesn't include you in any way."

Rei started at him for moment. Tears filled her eyes "I understand...." She said very softly. Leaning down she kissed him on the lips before standing up and leaving the hut.She started to run twards the oaisis tears running down her cheaks.
((how bout she goes to bed and some sort of magic transports her to the past.))

Bakura considered going after her; hold her and comfort her and thank her for doing the same with him earlier. But he had to force himself to just say no; he had to leave, had to finish this. He knew that he was just heading to his death; to go would be suicide. There would be no way he could kill, actually kill the pharaoh and still get out with his life. Staring at the door that Rei had just left, he blinked back tears of his own. "I love you..." He whispered long after she had run off, before getting to his feet.

Bakura located the horse and got up on it. He tried to ignore the faint sounds of Rei crying as he grabbed the reins and rode off, briefly wondering how Rei would leave if he was taking the only horse. Oh well, at least there was a fresh supply of water there.
