Well, technically they're both Germanic languages. There are some structural similarities, and a fair number of cognates, but no, they're still very different-sounding languages.
I've been told that German always sounds angry, but I just don't hear it. :/

xuvrette Jennanen! Aww... you have another baby! Last Meave remember was 2 children... Bad economy, since that Wall Street, isn't it? *sighs* Talking about deaths, Meave went to visit the cemetery 2 weeks ago for the Chinese Tradition. It tires me to climb the mountains, chinese love having their tomb on mountain because of feng shui... Well, all I can say is... life and death is what we all face. Hope you and your family could get through it. Best wishes!
CS5? Congratulations. Meave actually do not like CS3 and because of trying CS3, Meave has bad impression on CS4 and the following versions...UNTIL, they really add some features. Now what Meave can tell is, they are making the programme SO HEAVY that is not on my good side. Meave would be interested to know of your 'review' on the version. Yup, three girls. Poor Hubby's completely outnumbered.
Well, his company was sold because the owner had passed on. But yeah, the economy is bad right now so it's making job hunting a little tougher.
Thank you. *hugs* We actually got Grandma in to the hospital Sunday night (After El's b-day party). She was severely dehydrated. Monday they did an endoscopy and they found a hernia and an ulcer. I don't remember what all was going on, but I do remember the ER doc telling us that everything that was going on with her was reversable, but if we'd waited even one more day her systems would have begun shutting down and she could have been in a coma as early as the next day (Mon).
Yeah, I was happy with CS2 but my computer won't run it. *sigh* I'll let you know how I like it after I get it and I'm able to play around with it a little bit.
Bridgey: Oh, okay. Thanks for friending me. *snugs*
That is funny! It reminds me how my little sister used to carry around my mom's silky jamies.
*hugs* Peter. I'm sorry to hear about the flight delays. Hope, for both you and Bridgey, that you get home safely soon.
*waves to Meri* No there isn't.
Dee: I'd never even heard of L4D.

We're about the same. Every now and then I get something good, but I personally think the RIG is setup for almost everyone to fail, even when they succeed. The success items for the last RIG were crap, often times getting items not worth any value or maybe one of the actual new items. Alot of the old RIG items are recycled each time.
That does not help at all. X_x We end up spending alot more than we should to get the items we want. Most of the time, we don't get them. @_@
