Alpha shrugged stepping over a small rodent scurrying around the street "It may seem boring to you but it really isn't that bad. At that stage of life all you really do is cry and cry some more and get fed and watered just like a human baby and lets face it, nobody can remember things as early on as that.
Hebal giggled giving Mari a light poke in the arm "Hehe I know what it is! Your just too tomboyish to want to wear lots of high heeled shoes. Shame since your quite pretty and would look nice if you were to wear girly clothes" she complinented them turning them round another corner to reveal the bushes which they first emerged from "I know about the one in your forest Zadina and the one in mine but apart from that... Shiva is up north in the snowy temperature, Ifrit is somewhere to the north eastern desert and leviathan is underneith the mermaid city"
Seph smiled patting her chest "I do believe you are forgetting one very important thing. I am a time mage and can therefore just warp everything in and out the room if we are struggling to get the furniture out the door. Not to mention I am very good at DIY things so no problems at all" she reassured him stroking Itaka's back

Felina slowly nodded playing with Cid's paw until she almost squealed with delight in response to the bunny shaking her hand on his own "He can't exactly just go up to her and ask but he will need to decide whether or not he wants to be a ninja bunny or a mage one. Is it just me or does it seem like Cid isn't the only one thats growing up at the moment" she added in a whisper indicating to Zadina.
Satoshi shook her head reaching up to kiss Gil's neck "People won't complain. When people choose to be a ninja they know that they could be put into danger at any time and they also know that they are entering the exam at their own risk. Don't worry too much though the amount of deaths during the second round of the exam is decreasing thanks to the hard work of the examiners. During that phase of the exam me and my team mates had to outswim a giant shark" she told him proud of the achievement.
Hayate chuckled waving his hand dismissively "I never said anything about robbing her, I meant more like snooping. But last time Alpha put his hand in there he got bitten by something and when I once tried having a look around something all of her books just snapped themselves shut on my hand and refused to open up"

Oassu smiled "Yeah I know, he's learning about relationships and stuff now, what a good big boy Cid is" he said patting the bunny "Your cousin is gonna grow into a big responsible young man" he said chuckling as Cid shook her hand.
Gil smiled quietly as Satoshi kissed his neck "Sure that sounds really impressive since they are fast, how on earth did you and all of your teammates do it?" he asked happily.
Jenna nodded "Sounds pretty severe but I'm not that interested, junk isn't worth much to me, unless she has some jewels or stuff on the go that shes not interested in" she said.
Barbaros chuckled "Forgot about the aging rate though I imagine you wouldn't be watered much, how would you wash a fire demon baby? Wouldn't the water like kill you at that age?" he asked
Mari frowned "Nothing wrong with that and girly clothes are impractical and I don't compliment them" he said stubbornly "I like my armour anyway" she said peeking into her bag to admire the suit Hebal made for her.
Zadina gasped "A Mermaid city?! Thats rather brilliant but how on earth are we going to go see it?" he pondered thinking of a way to get down there "I'll need to research an awesome spell for that." he thought.
Itaka smiled "Thats true I forgot about your warping powers didn't realise you could direct the warp like that but when did you get the chance to really do DIY?" he asked.

Seph grinned warping a nearby snowman several metres to the side of the path it was sitting on "I have been practicing a lot on warping stuff but only really little things like leaves and rocks and the like. As for the DIY, I have had years of travelling about and hudreds of opportunities to learn so I am pretty good with screw drivers and spanners and the like"
Hebal giggled ruffling Mari's hair "Sure girly clothes can suit you and your yet to wear Satoshi's dress. I bet I could make you into a really nice looking girly girl with the right accessories and styling if you were into that stuff but oh well, your still cool and I'll just have to make you some nice armor instead" she sung tickling her ears "You can always use a bubble spell where your entire head is covered by a whole bubble or you can get breathing apparatus" she advised Zadina.
Alpha shrugged "It's not that bigger deal but we do need half a glass of water a day to drink. Most of the time fire demons wash their young by creating large amounts of steam then maybe mix it in with some form of incence or pefumy smell. The fire demons with scales have higher water resistence so can sometimes just sit in shallow water."

Felina grinned watching Cid turn around to shake Oassu's hand thinking he wanted the same treatment "I think I always knew Zadina would be quite responsible. He's always been really smart and more mature than the average kid his age. Not at all like his reckless big brother. Though I can't help but feel a little embarrassed his IQ is that much higher than mine" she added quietly.
Satoshi smiled back giving Gil a second kiss uder his jaw "We used a lot of clones and made them split up. That managed to confuse the shark for a little while until Takeo cut his leg on a piece of coral which made the shark come right back for us, fortunately we had a big enough lead to get to shore when that happened" she cheerfully replied.
Hayate laughed quietly pushing a low tree branch out of his face to get by "Maybe so but one mans piece of junk could easily be another mans treasure. Best to evaluate stuff before classifying it as total junk, I mean some total loser once bought one of my rugs for 40, 000 gil. I think it was only worth something like a quarter of the price max"

Oassu smiled shaking Cid's paw "Don't be bothered by that, your more streetwise than him and he's more naive so you know more, he's just a little prodigy magicwise thats all besides you should be happy he's in good mode right now" he said.
Gil sighed happily after being kissed again "Clever girl still you must be quite a strong swimmer, better than me for sure" he chuckled caressing her gently "Still sounds quite violent, maybe I should try it for training sometime," he said.
Jenna smiled "I like the way you think Hayate, didn't know you made rugs but all the same I like to stick with stuff I know is valuable like gold and silver" she said daydreaming.
Itaka smiled lifting Seph onto his shoulders "Well aren't you a talented one, maybe I should've spent some more of my years developing a skill like that rather than fighting and I'd be quite good myself" he chuckled.
Mari chuckled "I dunno I prefer boys clothes really they feel more comfortable" she said laughing as her ears were tickled "But yeah thats right I've still to wear Satoshi's dress." she said pondering what it'd look like on her.
Zadina frowned "I'm not sure if I've mastered that one....it's in the book though so it should all work out nicely, I wonder if the mermaids are as pretty as I've heard" he said.
Barbaros smiled "Did you have any trouble with your kids? Lava pools for them and stuff?" he asked.

Seph paused glancing around to see if anyone else was listening into their conversation before leaning in to Itaka "I suppose you could have but at the end of the day as much as I hate to admit it... you are... a better fighter than me even if you can't do much DIY stuff" she whispered into his ear warping a ball of snow over Barbaros's head for a joke.
Hebal frowned twirling around in her own clothes "Hehe man clothes are baggier I guess but women get to have all the fun clothes and have far more variety to choose from. You should try the dress on when on the airship or next time you have to be all fancy looking" she decided quickly whipping out a picture to show to Zadina "See for yourself whether or not mermaids are pretty" she giggled flashing the image of her sitting on a rock between two of them.
Alpha hesitated thinking over the question carefully "At that stage... most of the kids were fine with the exception of Tao. She always liked to wander off to other peoples lava pools which almost got her into bug trouble one time when one mum over reacted thinking she wanted to attack the kids for the pool" he sighed thinking about it

Satoshi laughed patting Gil "Yeah it probably would be good training for you but that was part of an away exam so you won't find that kinda thing in my village. The second part of the exam takes place in the waterfall caves when it is hosted in my village which just has giant worms occasionally tunnelling through. Since then we all learend how to run across water which kinda removed the challenge from stuff like that.
Felina nodded glancing ovr at Zadina "Yeah thats true, it's been a while since we last saw his bad side. I'm kinda glad too. That side of him was mean and... a little intimidating I giess" she muttered feeling her cheeks turn red with embarrassment "He is still young though and becoming streerwise is just something that usually happens with age anyway" she added playing with her pets tail.
Hayate shook his head throwing a snowball at the one above Barbaros's head knocking it away "Nah I din't make rugs. I got it in the markets from somebody doing what appeared to be a yard sale. They didn't think it was worth anything and to be honest the only reason I bought it was because it was only 100gil. I prefer to collect better things and I couldn't care less for the gold and silver since I get a small bag for everyday I hang around here"

Gil smiled "Well you should teach me that, seeing as I hate deep water" he shivered thinking about it "Giant worms don't sound too tough I could probably pass" he said thinking about it.
Oassu smiled "I don't know about that he still thought about the stork at the age of 12 so...you never know but I think he's quite alright for now but don't you be intimidated by his evil self, he's gone now Kimino saw to that" he reassured her.
Jenna shrugged "Sure coins are nice but I'm talking the rare things made of gold and silver, goblets....statues....airships...." she said dreaming again.
Itaka's smile dropped in surprise looking at Seph incredulously "Don't you be saying that, I beat you once but that was with the power of the dark gem, I don't plan on turning that way again I assure you." he whispered "Besides your magic is such an aid in combat and I can't do anything quite like that other than elemental blades" he whispered stroking Seph.
Mari smiled "I guess but I don't need it still it does look nice I suppose it wouldn't hurt to be a little girly" she said pondering it before peeking at the picture "Do you really think it's appropiate to show him that photo?" she questioned.
Zadina blushed intensely "Those mermaids aren't wearing much.....but they are quite pretty when did you get the chance to meet them?" he asked her.
Barbaros chuckled "Sounds like she just wanted to explore a little see the neighbours and make friends, you demons are too antisocial if you don't want your kids to meet other friends." he said.

Seph chuckled noticing Itaka's expression "Hehe I only said you were better with a blade. As far as other battle skills go I am way better than you" she whispered back glancing down at the size of her claws "Aww and trust Hayate to spoil my fun with the snowball, I wanted to see Barbaros's reaction" she added playing with his hair.
Hebal shrugged quickly putting the photograph away "I don't see whats wrong with the picture, it's not like theres anything bad or mean in the photo, I think you would have liked the Mermaid plalce Mari because they all liked to practice their combat skills. I went there as a holiday. I was finding Amane hard to look after as a baby so mum offered to look after her for a week and booked me a surprise holiday" she explained.
Alpha frowned shaking his head rapidly at Barbaros "No no it was nothing like that, the mother demon that stumbled across her was still really hormonal. Besides I bet when your kids were only a couple of years old you didn't want them crawling around the neighbourhood all by themselves" he pointed out somewhat defensively

Satoshi hesitated stepping over a log that was directly in her path "I could teach you how to walk across water I guess. It doesn't actually require any handsigns either, just chakra control. The worms are ok if you don't catch them and their massive grinding teeth at the front" she told him helping him over the log "You probably could pass the second round but for you I would say you might not pass the round before it due to lack of ninja abilities"
Felina snickered thinking back to Alpha having to give Zadina the talk "Yeah thats true but he knows the stork doesn't exist now. I kinda found all that out when having a discussion with my tutor when I was about 183. I'm glad Kimino found a way to stop that problem now, however I must admit he was a good bit of help when it came to treating Itaka's arm"
Hayate snickered giving Boco's beak a rub "Heh heh I think your just dreaming there, people would notice if you took their golden airship or statue. Though if you did something considered really heroic and make yourself some form of legend you might end up with a golden statue being built for you."

Gil raised an eyebrow "What exactly does the first part of it involve but I would really like to learn that water walking thing, it seems like something useful for me due to amount of heavy armour I wear" he chuckled.
Oassu nodded "Thats true and he helped out in the mines when Kyato summoned Zalera its a shame a lot of his abilities are locked when he's in good mode maybe we'll find out a way for him to use them" he pondered.
Jenna frowned "Seems a bit of a hassle but I could probably hide the golden airship somewhere it'd be quite a heist still gotta find someone vain enough to build it first" she said plotting.
Itaka smirked "I knew you'd never admit I'm completely better than you" he said playing with Sephs tail "Guess Hayate is a bit of a strict guy, he was a teacher a while back after all, do you remember anything of your time together yet?" he asked her.
Mari chuckled "But those girls were a good deal naked apart from those shells" she whispered to Hebal "But sure all the same I think its a bit of a disadvantage if I have to fight underwater where I can't breathe or move easily." she said imagining it.
Zadina shook his head "Was Amane a super naughty baby or something?" he asked playing with Hebal's ears "Still how did you get a holiday underwater with them?" he asked puzzled "Do they have Inn's underwater or something?" he questioned Hebal imagining trying to sleep underwater.
Barbaros frowned "Ah I see what you mean now, still nah we kept them inside or on a leash, my little mechanic just loved to explore the garage and play with his Blego sets." he chuckled.

Seph sighed shaking her head at Itaka "Not really, I mean I read some of this stuff and it does seem quite familiar to me but thats it with a few exceptions. I remember the event he described slightly when we were running around for ages trying to catch ourselves a fast green chocobo to get across a rather dangerous mountain but thats it" she muttered squeezing Itaka's arm by wrapping her tail around it.
Alpha smiled thinking back to his parenting days "The lava pools were outside so it wasn't as easy as just keeping them inside, at least they only liked to throw rocks at eachother. I had to take the younger two out with me when it came to finding food and hunting which was even harder work. Couldn't leave them on their own in the laval pools or other fire demons might attack them wanting the space."
Hebal smiled pulling a bush to one side revealing the airship hidden a little way ahead "Nah she wasn't naughty, just very demanding. But theres actually little islands with lodges whp provide you with air spells and diving equipment so you can go see the mermaid towns that are directly under it. They are majorly expensive though. I think fighting one might be a big challenge or at least good training"

Satoshi stayed quiet for a moment, deciding to run up the tree and along a treebranch upsidedown before doing a flip back to the ground "Well if you want to go doing the walking and running and all that on water first you need to learn how to do what I just did. The first part of the exam is a written one. The easiest question on the paper will be something like what angle would you need to throw a kunai at in order to hit a target 800 metres away assuming the kunai will travel at 21 miles per hour" she answered straightening her skirt.
Hayate sighed shaking his head slightly "Good luck finding someone who will make a golden statue without some sort of upfront payment and even if someone else does good luck not getting spotted somewhere in the world" he told her somewhat glad to see the airship through the trees "Hey Hebal, where are all the fiends this morning?"
Felina smiled putting her arm around Oassu's waist "Maybe with a little more experience some of those abilities will come back to Zadina. Kyato was a pretty evil man, I would hate to imagine what would happen if he succeeded but it was nice seeing Mari's place. It was like a whole different world to me"

Gil chuckled "Very impressive Satoshi, you certainly are skilled to manage that" he said clapping quietly before returning to her side "Still your first test sounds so dull, ugh with all the maths and stuff," he groaned.
Jenna chuckled "Well I have my ways we thieves have cache's all over the world that let us hide our goods I'll just need a larger one for a statue" she said stroking Boco's neck seeing him kweh happily at the sight of the ship.
Oassu smiled "Yeah but he didn't win so don't worry, all the same did you really like Mari's place so much? More than some of the other places we have been too...it was struck by war after all, I'd like to see it in a time of prosperity" he said looking at the airship.
Itaka glanced at his arm surprised at Seph clinging to it "Well at least its coming back to you but that sounds quite entertaining to watch" he smirked picturing them trying to catch the chocobo, "Still you think you'll remember something important from then?" he asked.
Barbaros nodded "Well you shouldn't leave your kids alone at any time" he said getting off his bike "Not at that age but your neighbours don't sound too nice" he chuckled patting the hull where he would need to open and load his bike in.
Mari smiled "It does sound like a challenge and good training so long as I can breath, should be no problem for a great samurai like me, maybe we'll go sometime" she said.
Zadina nodded remembering something "Oh Miss Mari that reminds me, due to your new powers I think I may be able to teach you a nice little spell but I'm sure you were a great mummy Miss Hebal since Amane loves you very much!" he said.
