t h e C a r d M a s t e r Some people are so good at it. Like I saw an avatar on the GCD and it looked EXACTLY like a female base avatar BUT IT WASN'T. ;A; The only thing that tipped me off was the slight difference in the faces. It's amazing and I'm jelly of that kind of skill. xD Oh man... can you imagine introducing them properly? That intro would go on for hours. Dx && UGH. NO. NEON COLORED PUBIC HAIR WHY. I SAW LIME GREEN. And what about people with their anime ocs that have NATURAL RAINBOW HAIR? Like... like come on... ;A; True. My wording wasn't right in the previous post. There were a lot of characters, but I don't think the plot was moving in a correct enough fashion to intro them all in in a way where they'd be more than just idle forever. xD We can always fix it in the next RP though. Things got chaotic.

Okay.. There're some people who cross-dress their avatar 24/7.
I'm sure they invented all the tricks to hiding the more masculine traits.
Eventually someone stops him 'cause no one wanted to know. XD
Oh man.. I really do wish I get a chance to write that story he's in. Especially since I updated him and a lot of other characters a lot.
Oh God.. Rainbow pubes. Welp. I'm done with life.
Hm. True.
Maybe try to make everyone stick with one character for the moment, or at least have one character prevalent to the story somehow?I'm just saying a vast majority. ;P
We're complaining about bad characters, not good ones.
It's not your fault. We really didn't know what to do really. We really didn't have a story, but more like a genre.

t h e C a r d M a s t e r Well, yeah, that's kind of what I mean. They're really good at making the male base look female and I'm jelly of their skills. They know exactly what to do to manipulate the base and it's cool what people can do with their avatar. Like all of those abstract ones and stuff. If he were in a group of a bunch of "shy characters" then he'd go FOREVER. xDD And you definitely should. I like parody characters. :3 Especially if they're done intelligently and not just... blatant I'm-making-fun-of-you-ness. ;3; && Yep. It was pretty horrific... And that works fine with me. It would help things be more organized. :3

XD By the time he reaches like 2 ^ -7, he'd probably start stumbling, not remembering exactly what came next so used to getting cut off.
I don't know if I can? I'm the sort that can't write my own story without really thinking out everything about the world.
If it's just a character for a roleplay, I don't care if he/she is literally a list of random characteristics of a person. 'Cause then I get to flesh them out later.
For stories, I have to stop and think everything out including characters and the world and how anything functions like magic or level of technology.

t h e C a r d M a s t e r I got distracted with studying and tumblr... my bad. >3>;; I'll get to work on that, haha. LOL Then it could be like "...and the rest is just me being part atom!" Hm, maybe do a little rough outline of the world and you could build upon what you already know about it with your character? Sometimes I do that if I have a really trippy dream and I wanna incorporate it into my stories. :3 I can totally understand that. Like with roleplay, there's always time to flesh them out, and you have multiple people and plots that are not your own to help move along the process faster. With your own stories, you don't really have that luxury, so setting up the main plot and world logics takes longer, but is also kind of fun to figure out all the little details on your own, you know? I like to see what people come up with in RPs, but I also like seeing their own ideas in their own universe.

Oh man.. I have a chem final tomorrow, and apparently it's 50 minutes long.
Can't tell if I'm depressed or glad.
That and the final group paper that's due tomorrow isn't even done and no one has editted it, so I am. emotion_facepalm

I really need to solidify level of technology in my head.
At one point there were accurate rifles and claymores at the same time because for some reason, I thought guns were appropriate.
I tried making a comic with a friend. I did the writing while she did the drawing. I ended up writing pages on just the history of the world, the mythology, and even an over-arching timeline for all the characters. I wasn't done so I never got around writing the actual story.
I like roleplays because there's someone else thinking with you, so it takes unexpected turns that you could never think of.

I am 1/24435435566th atom!" That sounds interesting. You should definitely flesh it out more. It could be a cool thing to have an entire history of your own universe made. Complete with the myths and everything. Yeah, same. I like it when people just wing it, you know? Like not God mod or do anything so radical that it KILLS the roleplay, but new plots or sudden things are fun to deal with. Okay I give up on this tektek. Here is my sad attempt. xD There are HOLES IN THE CLOTHES MAN. HOLES.

Oh man.. No one's online right now though..
We've finished, but I'm just doing a quick look through for any errors in grammar and stuff. Just polishing it up, but now I realized we might be missing a part that isn't in my section... BUT NO ONE'S ONLINE AT AN UNGODLY HOUR LIKE ME.

Oh man. It was like circular reincarnation, because one of the three gods of the world who was in charge of creating the future was like nope! And stopped, so the other two had to pretty much tie what already was created to where he stopped so the world wouldn't end. So everything repeated itself in a strange cycle with the exception of one person because of that one god.
But no one recognized that everything was repeating because it would be hundreds of hundreds of years, and s**t wasn't either documented well or the documents weren't protected well enough.
And now just retelling this, I see an issue with the life spans of some of my creatures.
Lol. Burn down the tents.
XD I thought a general guy avatar.
Looks pretty good though. o: Just needs a bit around the head and uh.. chest? area.

That plot sounds complicated but interesting. o3o I'd like to hear more about it when you flesh it out more. :3 A repeating history sounds kind of cool. It would make for a really good sort of plot. Even like, almost apocalyptic if you chose to go down that road. Burn ALL the tents. xD But really, I don't think that's gonna be happening anymore since I've no idea if Alex wants to come back or not haha. Ooooh. I thought you meant crossdressing. This one is like the frosting on the cake though. LOL BURN ALL THE TENTS, SET FIRE TO THE RAIN AND WATCH IT BURN. Nah. She's busy with work and stuff. D: I think she could come on periodically when she's free though, especially since it's winter break. I'd need to ask her though to make sure. xD I know right? A lot of the scarves on Gaia either are too big, too small, positioned weird on the body, or layer strange. :C

Realistically, if someone were in distress as much as these characters are, I'm sure their friends would get sick of saving them. It would be like having Princess Peach as a friend. After awhile you just wanna say "save yourself, dangit!" and leave her to marry the Koopa King D<
That power thing was always why I avoided fights between OCs with these people. There was no reaction time, and they always seemed to gain more powers as the battle progressed. Suddenly my character would be surrounded in vines and pounded to the ground with a giant electrically charged boulder. It's like.....what? Pardon? How did that happen without my consent?....How did that happen period? O__O
Yeah, half and half characters can be really interesting and well made if they're not made specifically for the purpose of sympathy or to copy the main character. And I have only come across one half-angel half-demon character that I thought was successful. I wish more people would attempt these cliche'd half characters and actually make a well-thought out character instead of a character that's only half and half so they can have all the kawaii DESUU~ characteristics. Heck, I'd even make one. Like... have a character with cute cat ears and the adorable features of an angel, but make them a broody character that always wants to be taken seriously.
Being bad-guys is awesome XD So much mayhem to be had! I think the worst part about rping as Inuyasha was that every person made a character almost identical to Inuyasha so they could try and pair them together. Not sure about everyone else, but if I met the male version of myself, I likely wouldn't want to date him.t h e C a r d M a s t e r
Yeah, it's hard to have a RP completely full of powerful characters with strong personalities, but that's the same in real life too. Having too many people with strong personalities in one place is a dangerous thing. As for ambition... yeah, I can see what you mean there. I suppose having the ambition of "escaping death" isn't something Mr. Twist has to work for XD. Maybe I'll make him more desperate to make a connection with someone in the circus. He's already feeling lonely.
I find that a lot of the half-anything characters either ignore the rejection portion of the story, or play it up way too much. I can understand characters being rejected to a degree, up until they make it so their character is rejected by every single living creature to the point that it makes you wonder why they haven't denounced the world or committed suicide.

Yeah... some of their nicest items have the weirdest color schemes... and then they come out with a recolor that's 30mil. D'': I know right? Or Zelda. I feel bad for Mario and Link okay, their princesses don't know how to like... I don't know... just. Not. xD And I'm pretty sure in some games (I wouldn't really know, I've only played OOT), Zelda's got some serious power? Like what the hell man. YES. I was once in a magical RP, and so I gave my character the power of like fire, I think if I remember correctly, and the INSTANT I USED THAT POWER, my RP partner is like "OH SUDDENLY MY OC HAS THAT TOO! BUT SHE'S STRONGER BECAUSE SHE'S OLDER!" and I'm just like... really? REALLY? && People going all Orihime fast in gaining powers is annoying. ;__; This wasn't exactly power, but it was definitely sue power. I was in a Hetalia RP and so me (Austria), France, England, Spain, Italy, America and Germany were on a plane to somewhere for this war, and so the person and their incredibly small country... like I think it was some really small island or something, decided to take over all of our countries. But no. Not in months, not years, not even WEEKS. This TINY LITTLE COUNTRY TOOK OVER AMERICA IN 2 HOURS. Dx Took over Austria in like 30 minutes and I think Germany went down in 1 hour.... No... just no....??? xD I started laughing through the rest of the RP because it was so ridiculous. Yeah, some half-something characters can be done well. I have seen successful characters like that, but a lot of the people I've met in the past only did it to either get the advantages of the other species and no flaws, or to, like you said, be ******** kawaii desu. >___>; Which is fine... but... put some logic behind the kawaii? xD Ah yes. The beauty of the bad guys. >:3 And that's kind of creepy. I don't think I'd want to date myself either. e__e

Oh yes, this has bugged me with Zelda especially because she's so powerful. And the game is called "Legend of Zelda", so you'd think she'd actually do something of importance. Should it instead be called "Legend of Saving Lazy Zelda's Butt"? That's the worst! When people change things just to upstage you or be better than you. Like, I had a doctor character once, but whenever anyone got hurt, he was useless. Why would anyone need a doctor when every character can use healing magic for no good reason?
Pffffffft! A tiny country taking over other countries so quickly? XD That's hilarious!
It's especially irritating when there's no sense in having a part-___ in the rp too. Like, it's a slice of life setting with no fantasy qualities at all, and just a random, unexplained, unquestioned cat-girl. Huh?
It's when people start to try turning the bad guys good that it gets bad XD
