Zelyhon I don't suppose anyone here knows how to use a program called Game maker? This Foundations of Game Design class just became a lot less fun, since I have to design, program, and test a video game without the professor actually teaching anything of worth about the program we're using. gonk
No idea, but I'd be willing to work with ya on it to figure stuff out. xp

Zero Omega Zelyhon I don't suppose anyone here knows how to use a program called Game maker? This Foundations of Game Design class just became a lot less fun, since I have to design, program, and test a video game without the professor actually teaching anything of worth about the program we're using. gonk No idea, but I'd be willing to work with ya on it to figure stuff out. xp It's due Friday, so I dunno if there'd be enough time.

Plus, the lectures from the professor on how to use the program didn't help at all.

For everyone who doesn't know, I work in the Operations department, which is a fancy way of saying 'stock monkey' and 'fix-it' at the same time. Handling anything from carrying out piles of s**t that people buy to piles of s**t that they clog up the toilets with. Actually we just flush the latter.
Anyway, today was frighteningly busy after such a long lull period. I got calls some fifteen times an hour. Factoring in three to five minutes for every carry out, answer is ******** Busy.
So five o'clock rolls around and I clock out and head out to the parking lot. There are six calls between the two minutes it takes me to walk from the break room to the exit. One of the managers comes up and says, "Hey Andrew, since you're the only Ops guy here, we need you to take care of these calls, you can't go on lunch."
"I'm not goin' on lunch, I'm goin' home, my shift's over. In fact, I put in an extra twenty minutes, and I've got exams tomorrow."
"...But what about all those calls?"
I think for a minute and the store wide radio starts playing, of all things, Beat It. So, I pull on my hat and moonwalk out of the store.
I missed out on extra hours, but I got to b***h smack the tightass manager, and I still got time to study. Hoorah.

3.14 Man. I want to go to McDonald's...but the closest one can NEVER get my order right. I ask for a cheeseburger, mustard and pickles only. And EVERY single time they give a burger with just ketchup. crying
