Ryou squeezed Kira's hand in return, making a mental note to be extra careful around Seto. He knew that in some way or another that priest would do his best to come up with a way to hurt him. For now, for Kira's sake, he had to pretend that he wasn't on edge. "Shall we just start trying random doors or ask someone for help?" He asked cheerfully, his mood changing from worried to cheerful.
"Pharaoh!" Seto had an annoying habit of bursting into rooms without knocking. Luckily Atem was fully clothed and doing nothing embarrassing, but it still annoyed him. "The thief Bakura and the girl, according to Kira, have apparently changed their minds about coming. I do not trust what the thief may do if he is merely allowed to be free in Egypt. I have thought of something that may help us capture him. A new law you could make."
Atem was slightly interested; he honestly didn't know much about being a pharaoh, and even if Kira and Ryou agreed that Seto wasn't the best of people to be trusting, he could listen to some advice, right? It couldn't hurt. "Yes, what is it?"
"You should create a new law that allows thievery to be punishable in torture or death." Seeing the darkened look on the pharaoh's face, he hastily added, "It won't be for mere stealing, sire. But if two or more priests, or you yourself, agree that what a person has done is punishable, than they shall have to pay the consequences. The people of Egypt will keep an eye out for thieves, and sooner or later Bakura will turn up as one of those that we should judge."
