"Hello," Lin greeted back.
She wondered in the back of her mind if she should call him prince, or sama... or was there another term and she didn't know what it was quite yet? None of the others (save for Sir Valdemar) had introduced themselves to her with a title.
She blinked, "You look like Celebor... only with darker hair... and taller... a lot taller."

Mikhail blinked. "Celebor?" he asked curiously, running the elvish name through his mind. He had heard of several Celebors before, obviously in his studies, but all of the ones he knew of had either sailed or died a long time before.
"Who is Celebor?" he asked curiously, leaning closer to her so that he wouldn't miss her reply.

"Celebor... he's my...." Lin thought and remembered the word that she learnt, "Nephew! Elnara's kid, he looks a lot like you only smaller. He's not that big yet."

Mikhail blinked and stared for a moment, sitting up straight again. Of all the answers he had expected, that was ... the last ...
"Elnara," he repeated, finally finding his voice. "You mean ... my sister, Elnara? You ... she ... wait, no," he shook his head. "He wouldn't be your nephew then, he would be mine ..."
For all the things he was able to understand that most others couldn't even begin, this entire conversation was suddenly making no sense at all to him.

Lin frowned (of course it hadn't really occured to her fully that Elnara was related to all these people). Well she knew, but he was still her nephew.
"She's my sister!" Lin replied back pointing to herself, "And that makes him my nephew. She's my..." Lin counted on her fingers, "I can't count that high, but she's most certainly over my tenth sibling."

Mikhail chuckled softly, realizing what was going on. Of course it was possible that there might be someone else with the same name in a different world, though he had to admit it was odd that a woman of the same name would have a son who looked like one of the Aldrich family ... and an elvish name.
"I thought you might have meant my sister," he smiled at Feng calmly. "She went off to live in your world."

Lin thought about it... to her Elnara had always existed and she came from a portal from this world so she just asumed that, that was how Elnara came to exist. Which was becoming obvious that wasn't the case.
"Daddy said... when she came into our world, Feng asked Mommy if we could keep her and Mommy said yes. Do you mean that sister? Because we kept her, she's a nice big sissy."

Mikhail choked on nothing and coughed until his face was beet red. Only then did he catch his breath enough to crack one eye open at Lin and stammer, "S-say what?"
And then he started coughing again.

"I said we kept her, Ryu said no one wanted her as a big sister and we could always use more big sisters so we kept her. So she's my big sister and she's a nice big sissy. She likes kids too..." Lin nodded, "She likes kids as much as Mommy and she and Mommy have good times looking after kids," Lin smiled with her hands behind her back up at Mikhail.
Who would have thought someone so adorably cute could say something to make grown men choke.

"And now she has her own kids?" he coughed, wiping a tear from the corner of one eye. He caught his breath finally and looked at Lin, his face still very red. "So ... my sister ... is now your sister ... and she's got a kid named Celebor ... who looks like me?"
Which meant he looked like an Aldrich, which meant ... somewhere in that world, Elnara had found another elf ... one who ... well, would he know?

"Yup," Lin ticked off on her fingers, "There's Celebor, Serenity, Skye, Starr, Storm... and what did she name the last vase? Idhril," Lin grinned, "She adopted just as many vases as Mommy did... only I think Mommy still has more, but only by one... wow. So if Elnara adopted one more vase then she would have just as many Seconds as Mommy, that's neat!"
Lin grinned at the thought.
"But no one can adopt as many kids as Mommy does."

Mikhail wasn't sure what Lin was talking about, but he did get two things out of her little rant: first, that Elnara had ... six children, and second, that they were adopted.
Well then.
"Slow down," he murmured, holding up one hand. "What are their names, again? I missed that ..."

Lin rolled her eyes, why couldn't adults keep up with her.
"Their names are Celebor, Serenity, Skye, Storm, Starr and Idhril," she repeated with patience as much as a child could have.

Lin shrugged, "I dont' know... I'm adopted and everyone says I'm too much like Daddy for my own good, only with Mommy's looks. I dont' see that being a bad thing though, I like being like my Daddy."
Lin knew about strange coinidences, like if she had mentioned, Storm and Starr kind of looked like Lore and Elnara only angels.. and Idril (had she seen her) looked like any Southern elf...
