Xavier began twirling his hair again, a habit he had developed long ago. "I see.." he said then blinked, hearing a whimpering sound coming from the couch. He turned his head to see Hope moving a bit, hearing her whimper from pain a little before she laid her arm across her face. Xavier set the object he had been fiddling with down as he stood, striding over to her then kneeling beside the couch. "Do you want something?" he asked gently as his gaze drifted towards her injured stomach.
Hope swallowed then nodded weakly before speaking in a soft murmur. "M-may I have s-some water p-please..?" she asked, her voice a bit scratchy since her throat was so dry.
Xavier stood then turned and walked into the kitchen and without asking Dark filled a glass with water. He then walked back out and once again kneeled beside Hope, carefully handing her the glass and watching her intently as she managed to take a long drink from it.

"Awake once again I see." Dark smiles at Hope. "You missed a rather interesting conversation. I don't suppose your feeling any better?"

Hope finished the glass and gave a shaky sigh afterwards, weakly handing the glass to Xavier. She blinked slowly then turned her head to look at Dark to offer him as much of a smile as she could muster. "I-I'm sorry s-sir.." she murmured quietly before reaching up to try and move her hair away from her face, closing her eyes as she let her hand rest on her forhead. "N-not r-really.." she murmured, her other hand clutching at her wound.
Xavier smiled when she drank all the water, looking satisfied as he reached over to set the empty glass on a nearby table. He then sat beside Hope, making himself more comfortable by leaning back against the couch lightly as he listened to them talk. "A very interesting conversation indeed." he said before giving a light chuckle.

"Then I think it best that I get the doctor. Make yourselves at home. It's not mine after all."" Chuckling to himself Dark leaves the house to locate the doctor.

Hope opened one of her eyes to watch Dark leave before shutting it again, giving a tired sigh that turned into a whimper.
Xavier tilted his head when Dark left, his earrings jingling as he did so. He heard Hope whimper and turned his head a little to watch her, wondering just how much pain she was in.
Hope opened her eyes again and found Xavier staring at her, which caused her to blink. She watched as Xavier turned away and saw his long black hair follow after. It looked so soft..she had the strongest urge to touch it. One of her slender hands reached out to softly stroke at his silky hair, her eyes quickly glancing at him to see if he minded.
Xavier felt her touch his hair and blinked, looking a bit surprised before a deep and content murring sound came from his chest. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back a little, enjoying her gentle touches.

(You can if you want, I just needed them to bond a little so then Xavier will be a little more attached to her. Not like..in an intimate way, Hope just likes to play with people's hair.)

(lol, probably just embarrass Hope a little, Xavier likes it too much to care at the moment. I was going to make him in his dragon form and just let Hope stroke his head instead, but the little house is too cramped for him lol)

Dark enters the hut a few moments later with the doctor. He grins widely. "Well, you seem to be feeling much better now, my dear. My goodness what a strange looking puppy you have found."

Hope blinked and blushed a little at being caught. She looked down at Xavier and blinked again, covering her mouth with her free hand as she giggled weakly: Xavier as a puppy was too funny to her.
Xavier wasn't even phased by the comment: in fact, he didn't even seem to notice that someone else was in the room.
Hope hesitated before softly stroking at Xavier's hair again, listening as the deep murring sound came from him once more, smiling weakly when she heard it.

"Be sure to let us know when your finished so the doctor can check on your condition." Still smiling Dark resumes his seat to wait.

Hope's cheeks reddened a little more and she looked at Xavier, hesitating before gently poking his head a little. "X-xavier.." she murmured quietly as she poked him again.
Xavier stirred a bit at the poking and opened his eyes half-way to stare at the ceiling. He shut his eyes again, feeling very lazy at the moment. "Hmm..?" he asked as he remained where he was, apparently expecting more touching.
"Th-the doctor's h-here.." she murmured quietly as she watched Xavier, wondering if he had fallen asleep.
Xavier lifted his head a bit and opened one of his eyes to stare at the doctor for a moment before shutting it again, stretching and yawning before he stood up and walked back over to his chair. He sat back down and leaned back, shutting his eyes again as if going asleep.

Hope's face was a little flushed from fever and she looked down towards her stomach, biting her lower lip a little. "W-well..I-I sort of..g-got hurt..a-again..." she murmured quietly before tentively looking up at the doctor with an apologetic look on her face. Hope weakly gestured to her wounded stomach with one of her hands, her other hand barely gripping her torn and bloody dress.
