Cortesa Simple. Just have Miledy next to him. He won't attack Miledy unless you attack first. Or have Miledy talk to him and he won't attack at all, not even his army. He'll just follow Miledy and stuff lol >.>;;. Zelpher34 You still have to kill him regardless. Or you will not advance. False fact, I didn't kill Gale and I still advanced, as long as you kill the one in charge or seize the throne (can't remember which since I only played through it once) then you can advance past that stage.

Edit: I'm actually playing again to see if people's/guide rumors are true about recruiting Gale, they said talk to him with Fa, Zeiss and Miledy in that order and he joins. Its a 50/50 argument so I'm gonna see for myself xP;;;, plus I got the good ending and I want the best ending....all cause I missed one BLOODY LEGENDARY WEAPON!! *goes off and rambles*

His thing(LOL) was red, and Vaida's was blue. He must not be a recruitable character
