Jewel snorted softly. "I'll watch.." Jewel said, looking at her freinds get ready for flight, dissapointed. If she couldn't fly, at least she would run, and that made her slightly happy. Collecting herself, Jewel shot into a smoothling stride on the ground, her hooves thundering underneath her, as she quickly quickend her speed and became faster then a shooting bullet.

*Amazed at the foal's stregnth, she watched as he was nearly crawling across the ground, almost independant right from birth. She began to help him back up once again, licking some of his coat every now and then. And as she backed away once he arose to his feet, he stood on his own, very still for quite some time until she touched him again, supporting his body and he took a few steps. Again on his own, he opened his eyes and could see. He looked up at her and sought out food as she walked next to him, her flank near his muzzle. Quickly finding what he was looking for, he nursed strongly, his stance less akward and unstable than before.*
What about Kaio? I think it suits him..

Evander smiled. "Kaio it is." He agreed, reaching up to nuzzle her. He stood up and moved his back under her head, giving her a place to relax her neck.
Prince snorted. "Too bad, too sad." He said sarcastically and raced after her, then he too pushed off the ground and into the air. He quickly flew straight upwards above the clouds, out of sight of his parents. He twirled and corkscrewed, occassionally putting on little bursts of speed, enticing Lithea to race.
Ghost nodded his head in amused agreement. "They sure do, those little troublemakers." He chuckled.

Jewel tossed her head. She side-stepped a little and then burst into her fastest quickly flying past Prince as he flew in the clouds, and left him in the dust. Jewel gave a little buck, and felt herself almost go off the ground. She lenghted her self, and her smoothing strides hit the ground. Jewel started to slow down to a canter rather then a gallop, and quickly wheeled around and raced back to Prince and Lithea.
"Morning mother." Storm snorted nuzzling his dam affencitnly. "Hello, Storm. Have been flying I see?" Diamond said smiling, as she was watching her young stallion fly. Prince nodded. "Yes I have. It's great. I came across plenty of unusall things." He said as he bowed his head and pulled with his teeth at the grass. "Storm, Just be carefull please, alright? You don't know what they are." Diamond said frowning, and becoming serious. "I know, mother." He replied looking at her with caring eyes.

*within fifteen minutes, Kaio had finished nursing and was soon trying out his legs, while Dreamcloud had immediately laid down and was fast asleep.*

((Lol, it's fine.)) Evander remained awake to keep an eye on Kaio. His fiery eyes glowed with pride in the darkness of the caves as he watched his colt try his legs as best he could. ((Ugh, writer's block...))

Nuzzling his dam once more he whriled around and leaped into a canter. With one flap, he was up in the air, above of the clouds, and out of sight. Storm flapped his large white wings in a ease motion and let the wind guide him.

*As Moonstruck watched the other foals so easily fly, she stretched out her wings, wondering about flight, but fearing it. She had yet not forgotten what happened the last time she was given a few flight lessons, and it caused her to turn to grazing, having become used to the grass rather than mother's milk. As Sepsis was thinking the same thing; she, too turned away in fear and disgust, only imagining the horrific worst.*
*Jacob and Sarah, as well had grown. Childhood was a time for growth and they had long outgrown their clothing. They now roamed the lands naked, their feet callused, little need for shoes now. Sarah had celebrated her 10th birthday, but a sad day it was. No gifts, no cake nor ice cream. She sat on the beach, desperately wishing she could return home with her friends and what was left of her family. She then thought of her magical horses and how she would miss them once she left, knowing that the wild belongs in the wild. Jacob was swimming in a relatively deep tidepool. It was clear and cool on that summer day and as he sat in the cup of that smooth crater, he attempted capturing tiny fish in his hands. While on the island, the children had resorted to trapping and killing small game. Sarah would build fires while Jacob would tinker with traps and spears. The children were amazingly intellegant and managed to scrape together the most essential of tools and resources to thrive on this distant island.*
*As Sarah lay on the bed of a dry tidepool, she watched the clouds roll by like distant waves on the deep sea. As she watched the sky, she slowly drifted into lazy sleep. What seemed like only seconds later, Jacob shouted and the loud humming of a plane buzzed over her head, followed by a boom and seconds later, an earth-shaking crash. She shot her eyes open, and Jacob was pointing in the direction a lingering trail of dark smoke in the air led to. On the thick cliffs of the mountains.*
Sarah! Somebody's crashed!!

Lithea snorted, and followed after Prince. Suddenly a streak of black across the sky caught her attention and she wheeled to face it. "Brother look! Let's go see what it is, come on." She streched out and focused on flying for once, speeding herself up as much as she could.
Kipcha watched the skies for her foals, still highly protective over them both. A boom startled her and she looked around quickly. She scanned the skies finding a dark streak but neither of the foals. "Ghost! Where are they?" She shifted nervously, without a clear view of her foals twisted images crept into her mind./

*On the mountainside, a mangled mess of metal and parts were covered by smoke and fire. Seeing the fire, a man hurriedly climbed from the cockpit of the two-seated plane, a bag in hand. As he quickly stumbled down a worn path on the mountainside, he expected to find a small village someplace on this large island, but after several minutes as he set foot on the clearing, he came to see a herd of horses in the distance. As he looked closer, squinting his eyes and shading the overhead sun out of his eyes, he came to realize these were not just horses and gasped in amazement. His daughter, many times, had bragged about how unicorns and pegasus were real and how somewhere they lived in secrecy and hidden from people, had she honestly been right all that time?*

Diamond's head had shot up and her muscles became tense. With a snort, she flinched and took a step back at the sudden boom. The sky filled black smoke, and she raised her muzzle up to the air. Her ears flickered forward and her eyes glanced towards the mountain. Her stomach twisted and she remembered the shire of her foal, who lived there. Not only that, she worried for Storm who was flying.
Storm shot his ears backward, and kept hs eyes focsed on the black smoke that whirlled around him, and slowly began to choke him. He tossed his head, and blankey saw Lithea and Storm. With another flap off his wings he shot after the foals. He collected himself and went threw the air faster then a bullet.
Jewel squeled frightendly, and slid to a halt. Wheeling around she bolted for her mother, her ears tucked backwars, her hooves tundering across the ground.

Prince shot off after his sister, quickly overtaking her and flying well past Storm. His rivalry with the other colt had grown over the past months and he refused to let him beat him at anything. The crash-sight came into view and he spiraled downwards, openeing his wings just before he touched down. Fire and smoke ingulfed the giant sitting on the plain.
Ghost snorted and lept into the sky. Scanning around, he saw Lithea and Storm turning down to land quite a ways off. He tore after them and hovered above where the three foals had landed.
Evander's ears caught sound of the massive crash. He hissed and stood completely still, listening intensly on both outside and inside the caves.
