Kai raises an eyebrow at her. "It's still good....." he says with a smile as another piece of the machine falls to the ground. "It just...needs.....uh....duct tape!...that will fix it!" he says smiling . "And while it did do what I told it to the second time it didnt the first time....it should of just worked.....but then I dont care for electronics...they irritate me" he says looking at the mostly ruined machine.

She frowns upon Kai. "They do not. Electronics are very reliable machines that help people in their time of need... or more or now today, want. We seriously depend upon them, whether we'd like to admit that or not. So you can just stop saying things like that. When people get sick and become unable, do we kick them and break them more? No. We nurture the person back to health, just like if something's wrong with a machine, we repair it or renew the part. Like organ transplants or something. You're coming from the totally wrong direction." Keila scowled a moment more and then sighed. "Can I borrow your ID?"

"I see what your saying but they still seem like pieces of junk to me" he says shrugging. Kai looks back at the machine and takes another sip of his tea. "My ID?...I guess.." he says as he hands it to her and goes to a tble with booth seating. He takes a seat and waits for Keila to come back. He wonders why she is so defensive of machines....

"Thank you." she takes the ID from him and walks up to the buffet line and pciks up a plate, putting on it, a pizza and a funnel cake. She then quickly walked up to the ice cream machine, still feeling it wasn't enough and put the cup under the spout and pulled on the lever. Well nothing happened. She blinked and gaped stupidly and looked at the pressure meter. It wasn't on. It was the strangest ... thing... But still, some ice cream began dripping through the hole so she threw the styrofoam cup away and approached the end of the line where you "paid" for your food with an ID. So she slid Kai's card. Nothing happened. She slid it again and waited.... and then smacked it in anger. "Why won't anything work!?" she said aloud angrily. Sighing, she just muttered something incoherent to even herself to.. herself and walked back to Kai with her tray and sat down across from him and handed him his ID back. "That's wierd. None of the electronics wanna work for me.."

Kai smirks. "You see its not just me!" he says smacking his hand on the table for emphasis. Kai Looks her in the eye determinedly. "Electronics have never worked for me....they just seem to break..or get errors " he says smirking embarassedly. "I wonder if it has anything to do with my abilities..." he says thoughtfully finishing off his tea and tossing the cup into a nearby trash bin. "Got enough to eat?" he says looking at the food.

"Abilities?" she remarks absentmindedly, remembering her refusal to take her meds.. It dawns on her and she droops considerably but then sits back up. "No. I don't." Keila stares at the ice cream machine which was blinking red. She scooted away from it, more into the chair, and it completely turned on. She shook her head, scooted her tray over and let her skull fall onto the table with an exasperated, "s**t."
Oh yes. She was upset. It was unlike her to curse.

"its ok..they do that to me to" he says patting her on the shoulder with a slight smirk on is face. "Thats why i tend to kick the things....sometimes they work after that " he says as he looks at the ice cream machine. He stands up and walks over to it and puts a bowl under it and fills it up with vanilla ice cream and then puts as many things on it from cookies to sprinkles as he can fit. "Here we go..." he says sitting down handing her a spoon as he sits.

After Kai left she sighed, remarking on her stupidity. When he came back, she looked up with a dull "huh?" and then suddenly sat straight up and got out of her seat and hugged him. "Thankou-thankou-thankyou!!!!" Keila squealed happily. "It's an ice cream!!!! Thank you, Kai!!" she sat back down in her seat and began eating it, taking a BIG spoonful out and shoving it into her mouth. "Ish 'ot Oweos!"

He smirks as he watches her eat. "you know if you keep talking like that I might have to record it a black mail you with it later its kinda cute" he says winking a little. He leans back in his seat a little and lets out a sigh.He looks at the slightly broken drink machine. He smirks a little and using his powers draws some water out of the machine over to him on the table it rolls in a perfect sphere looking like glass but more clear. Looking at it he concentrates a little forcing the water to shape itself into a little dragon like creature he makes the little creature run around the table looking off the edge and walking around the plates of food looking lost.

She mumbles something incoherent with a mouth-closed smile and then eats another larger bite and starts jumping around in her seat. "Wainfeeze!!! WAINFEEZE!!" Keila then kept bouncing about, eyes very much wide and then saw Kai's water dragon transform on the table. She settles down and takes curious intrest in it and lets out a small "Awww." as her ice cream melts. "It's so cute..."((Me just lazy I think... XP))

Kai looks up at her when she speaks. "huh?" he says losing concentration and the little water dragon turns into a small puddle on the table. "dang it....lost my focus.." he says to himself as he looks at the puddle. "Im working on keeping my focus while doing other things....its hard..." he says as he rubs the back of his neck. "So where are we gonna go after this?" he says as he puts his finger in the puddle and the water seems to bunch up around his finger. He moves it back to infront of him and the the water sinks back to the table top.

"Ocean." she said confidently, and took a bite of her pizza, and another bite and swallowed. "We still have to go to the ocean, Kai. Don't forget about the ocean, please." Keila looked at his hand and the water ball up and fall once more and she pondered what he was thinking about. What could've distracted him? Ah, screw it.
"Besides, you'll get better. Everyone gets better with time, don't worry!" she encouraged him.

" I didnt forget about the ocean...we still have to find it remember?" he said smirking at her. "You had an idea that we were gonna try...I dont remember what it was though" he says shrugging lightly looking at the small puddle on the table. He prods it with his finger and it rises up like a plant bloom and then blossoms in the shap of a rose. Blinking briefly he forces the water molecules to slow down and pack close together. By doing this he causes the water to freeze in the shape that it was in. A newly bloomed rose. He sighs lightly in a barely noticeable manner. ~No Glory in war, Glory in Life~ he thinks to himself.

Keila smiled. "Something about tracing the water?" she took more of her food and ate it and sighed. "So then, what are we going to-?" And stopped. There was a rose on the table, it bloomed, overbloomed, and then went back into a perfect position. "Woooow..." she said exasperately. "That's so... amazing.."
Leaning up, she scoured her mind for something to say, something witty, maybe a quote. And for some reason, she came up with this.
"Only in quiet waters are things visible undistorted.
Only in a quiet mind, is there an adequate perception of the world." Keila smiled at the simplicity of it. "Hans Margolius said it." she tilted her head and stared at the rose, swallowing the rest of the contents inside her mouth.

"Really? its a rather nice quote" he says as he watches her look at the rose. "Well if we want to get to the ocean anytime soon you need to finish eating you black hole !" he says jokingly. He pulls the Ice Rose from the table top and hands it to her. " here you can keep it it wont melt anytime soon" he says smirking as he leans back in his seat putting an arm on the back of it.
"Waves crash on the shores of our lives but we will not wear away easily by the harsh lapping of the waves unless we give into the current." he says thoughtfully for no real reason.
