"Sea food it is!"
Storm's wide grin never once wavered in the face of Melanie's cynicism.
"But! That is for the evening! For now, we must secure targets."

Great. I have a date with the captain. This will bode well with the crew. Mel sighed, then the corner of her mouth raised into a half smile because she couldn't ignore the urge to smile when Storm was grinning happily. Oh well, at least now she won't destroy my town. Besides, maybe it won't be that bad. Then she raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Targets...? What do you mean targets?" She asked, completely confused.

"Well, contrary to popular belief, there is actually little to be found out on the ocean blue, without fore knowledge. Ships are not crossing the shipping lanes in great droves anymore, not since Kibo took to the sea. And when they do, well their usually in packs, for protection. But, there's usually some kind of pigeon stool who can be bought for a price. He'll have what we need."

"Alright then, lead the way." Mel said as she stepped out of Storms' way, as an indication for her to lead.

Storm hurried through the streets, her sharp, crimson coloured eyes reading the signs of the buildings as they passed them. Finally she spotted the one she was looking for and darted inside.
"Stay by the door, don't drink anything and for crying out loud, don't make eye contact unless you're willing to fight. I'll be back in fifteen minutes."
The drow dodged her way nimbly through the crowd and disappeared through a back door.

Melanie was about to make a sarcastic retort back to Storm, but when she blinked, the captain was gone. Mel swallowed as she felt the drunken stares of the inhabitants of the tavern on her, and despite her pride, she lowered her gaze and took a seat near the door and waited. A few minutes passed by and she had already figured out how many floorboards there were in the tavern, thanks to the unending wait. Mel sighed, closed her eyes and thumped her head on the wall behind her. A few mintues later she heard one of the men who was residing here talk inconspicuously-to him it was-of going over to me and buying me a drink. I bite my tounge, the sound of Storms' orders echoing in my head.

Fifteen minutes, to the dot, alter, and Storm was skipping back into the common room. Her red eyes searched through the crowd until she spotted Melanie. She smiled and made her way back towards her, only to see the little mortal beleagued by a small crowd of males. Storm pushed her way in through the crowd to Melanie's side.
"Now, now boyos. She's NFS. Come on, Mel; we've got what we needed."
She grabbed her hand and pulled Melanie after her, back outside.

Mel stood up and let Storm lead her outside, then once they were outside, she stood next to Storm and looked at her quizzically. "What does NFS stand for...?"

Storm hesitated a moment, but then dropped Melanie's hand, like she knew she should.
"'Not for sale.' It means that you're not a whore, or some such. Plenty of them are to be found around here, it's hard not to find the ones that aren't."

"Oh." Mel said with recognition as she let her hand fall to her side. Then after walking a few blocks without saying anything, she let curiousity take over. "So, what took you so long back at the inn?"

"My contact was, ah, indisposed for a few minutes. But I got back soon enough, didn't I? No harm befell you, yes?"
Storm gave Melanie a bright smile.
"And now, now we have a mark."

Looking at the ship from the dock Natasha Blackheart smiles. She walks slowly towards it and places a single hand on the large wooden vessel and closes her eyes, picking up the various vibrations coming from within. After about 30 seconds she grins, sensing no one on board apart from a few rats on one of the lower decks.
She boards the ship, and grabs herself a nearby chair on which to seat herself as she awaits the Drow's return.
She straightens her black dress, and adjusts her red underbust corset. Her flowing red hair hanging effortly around her shoulders and down to the centre of her back.
Getting slightly bored after just five minutes of waiting she removes a small knife from her worn leather boot and begins to spin it in her fingers with expert precision and a look of extreme boredom on her face.

Melanies' eyebrows raised just a bit as she realized what Storm meant by 'indisposed'. "Nope, no harm done," She said as she shook her head slowly, then cracked a smile. "So, now what do we do?"

Storm shrugged.
"There's a siteasy near by, if you want to grab a n** before heading back to the ship. Down this lane and two the right. I'm going back to the Kheel. Not that hungry and I want to see how Stil's doing."
She handed Melanie a small handful of coins.
"Don't get too drunk, our you'll be stabbed without a second thought."
The drow turned and started back home, back to the ship. She was whistling a quiet tune under her breath; the tune and Storm stopped to see Natasha sitting against the main mast. A wide grin broke out across her lips.
"Nattie! What the hell are you doing here?"

"Guh!" Mel exclaimed as Storm handed her the coins then all but ran back to the ship. "What if I don't want to stay here?!?!" She half-muttered, then peered off to her left to see a drunk man-who was actually really attractive-look at her with a smug look on his face. He started to say something, but Mel just ignored him and started towards the ship. But instead of just hearing her own footsteps, she heard the loud footfall of someone-and she could just guess who it was. When she looked behind her shoulder, the drunk man gave her a little bow then tripped and she rolled her eyes and walked faster.
