i stared at my arm. i was glad to have a friend like her. "ilana. would you like to know how it happened?" i was refering to my curse. she had the right to know. and i knew that it didn't help to hold things in.

Nebride growled, "I already have done that. Before Gwendar renounced his ways of a witch hunter, he struck Gren. That was when the fighting started. We both hurt each other real bad." She crossed her arms and glared at Ilana. "I will not make the same mistake with a more experience witch hunter." Nebride turned on her heel. "I'll see you around Ilana."

Jane walked quietly beside Gwendar. "Do not worry Gwendar. Everything will be fine. Nebride is strong and can protect us from anything. She is the only one who can allow anyone into this village. We will set up more protection spells. We priestesses are not easily taken down."

i took in a deep breath. it was hard talking about it. but i was going to anyway. "ilana. . . you don't have to say anything. but please . . .just listen."
i closed my eyes so i wouldn't have to see anything while i spoke. "as you know already, demons attacked our village 17 years ago. my mother had hidden me under the earth. but the leader of our attackers found me and placed me under a curse. one that bound me to this form. i've tried everything i could think of. including a charm like the one you showed me"
out of a pocket in my cloak, i pulled out a pendent and placed it in her hands. it was covered in multiple cracks and a part of it was missing. "this is what happened. i'm still looking for a way to break this curse. no matter where i go or what i do, i'm still looking. but my efforts don't seem to be paying off. the conclusion i've come to is that i either have to kill the demon that cursed me. . . or something else that i don't know of"
i stood up and streched my legs. "but for some reason, i was able to keep alot of my origional powers of our race. i think it might have been because the demon was a little worn down from his rampage on our village"

"i honestly dont know.....we could use the carts as barricades?" he mentioned.
"And ill round up anyone who can fight" he said worryingly

i wrapped my arms tightly around ilena. "it was very good seeing you again, my friend." i stood up. i was crying a little. it wasn't very normal for me to cry easily but this time i did. "i should probably go back. togan is waiting for me" i waved and walked back through the forest, village, and finally reached the house. my eyes were still a little watery though.

he finally started to get the hang of his 'blindness'
he was in his room figuring out how to maneuver around without seeing.
surly this would impress her.
he suddenly heard her familiar voice.

i laughed a little. he was so impatient. "yeah. follow me" i walked into the living room ans waited for him to catch up. it was natural that he wouldn't be able to walk as quickly with the blindfold.

he was to eager.
he tripped over a small dining table and fell over.
as far as he could tell he had fallen on something. it took him several small grabs to realize it was gren.
"OH IM SO SORRY" he said jumping up bright red.

it was hard to not laugh. "heheh. it'a alright." i stood up and looked at his face. it was pretty funny. "it's natural to fall the first time with a blind fold. . . but try to fall on something else next time ok?" he couldn't see it, but i was smiling. i could tell he would be fun to teach.
