*Bell links her arm with Nana with great ease. Bell was used to these parties and how to work them, even though her style was rather old fashioned. She begins to walk briskly with a certain grace about her. She smiles softly.* Sorry but I’ve had enough of all these dreary men and their inability to have fun. What about you, how is the evening treating you?

I'm not sure to be honest... I've been a little light headed for a while now, though I'm not sure why.

*Perhaps it was just stress, Nana wasn't used to participating in such events, with people other than her own siblings really. That and the general had told her a few things about trying to blow her family up. Then there was KB, the 'mastermind' behind it. Though he seemed good natured on first glance, he was also horribly crule, at least that's how it appeared. How was Nana to know, the man had a thing for Mastema? With such thoughts zipping about, it could be said that yes, it probably was stress making Nana feel the way she currently was*

*Bells nods her head and sighs.* Don’t worry about it, any party can render a person light headed and one with as much tension as this one is bound to twist ones stomach a little. I’m honestly rather used to this sort of gathering, maybe that’s why I don’t feel it as much anymore. Enough of this dreary subject! Tell me Nana, what do you do for fun

*Nana couldn't help but give a small chuckle on the inside. Stomache indeed, it was one thing Nana actually didn't have, so to say 'stomache turning' was, amusing. It was a surprise that Bell knew Nana's name, when she had not yet fully introduced herself. Griffin must have told her or-- something*

F- for fun? Well... learning I suppose. Whether it be a new sport of one kind or another, or a spell from an old magic book. Nurturing a plant and watching it grow, applying the same to children.

*Though Nana may not have looked it, she was actually rather athletic. Whether it was soccer, volleyball, badminton, jump rope, swimming, etc... she enjoyed it. Then the children, Nana loved children, even before she had her own. She would use what free time she had to make sure any children around her could play and have smiles, it was the calling of her heart perhaps*

(( For some reason I want to see Kai wander in on Nana and Bell playing Volley ball. xp ))

*Bell laughs lightly, like chimes in the wind.* I’m awful at magic… and sports… but I do have a green thumb. *She mutters hopelessly, she was trained to be a lady but that was hardly anything to boast of. She didn’t exactly want to spread the word that her best talents were manipulation by feminine tactics, sewing, drawing, dancing and singing.* ((I would too since Bell would probably lose..horribly lol))

O-oh? Do-- do you, have a garden by chance?

*Well, perhaps Nana and Bell had some common ground? Nana could sew, and sing, and her dancing wasn't too bad either. It wasn't known if or how well or poorly she could draw, if at all. Nana did have a garden, though most of the gardening activities were likely looked over by various machines programed to look after the place and keep it green and pretty. It was a nice place to get away to, when one wanted to hear only trees, and grass, and the sounds of water from a small pond also located in Nana's garden*

*Bell smiles brightly and nods her head.* Yes, I have a large green house all my own. I’m not allowed anything in the open air anymore, with it being dangerous and everything. *she sighs softly* and yourself?

I-- I do have a garden, it has a pond in it as well. I guess you could say, we're both kept inside for our own safety. Even at a place and party such as this, I'm rather nervous.

*In Nana's case, the Citadel was surrounded by a barrier, a green house of sorts on a much grander scale. It too kept her out of the open air, and hidden away from the dangers of outside, mainly anyone who wanted to attack the citadel, for-- what ever reasons. Mostly it appeared to be people going out to try and damage Mastema in one way or another for things he had done in the past. It was just an added bonus that it helped to protect Nana as well, not to mention the children. They were about the same age as Griffin and Bell, though their bodies were still much smaller*

*Bell nods in understanding.* Well a pond would be lovely! I really like fish and water lilies. I might ask my brother if we can have a small one installed. *While the women talk Bell keeps a leisurely pace for walking, not rushed in the least.*

Fish? Hmm, that's one thing I don't have I'm afraid. Come to think of it, no birds or insects even. Goodness, I have to wonder how my garden flowers at all...!!

*Pollination of Nana's garden, was likely in part mechanically influenced, and possibly through some self pollinating plants as well. But other than perhaps one large wolf that appeared and disappeared at random, there seemed to be no animal life of any kind in the Citadel. No animals, no birds, no fish, and no insects. Something would need to be done about that, as an abundance of life was certainly something needed. If not for the shear pleasure of it, then certainly for the children to experience. They had to learn about these things anyways, so it would be better if they could see them within the safety of their own home*

I guess I have a few things to think about.

Lucky! *Bell squeals happily.* I hate bugs! Not that they scare me or anything, they’re just gross! I can’t walk around barefoot because I’m afraid on squishing one in my toes! *She giggles playfully. Bell wasn’t simple, just truly a happy girl.*
PostPosted: Tue Jan 29, 2008 8:23 pm

Oh, well you know there is a trick you can use for that, so you'll always know where the bugs are, so you can avoid them.

*Being angelic of nature, Bell should be able to pull off the trick Nana spoke of. That is if she had learned how to control the aura around herself. It would be a simple proceedure from there, lighting up the insects with her own aura. They would glow brightly so they could be seen by Bell. The insects of course would be none the wiser, not being capable of seeing the angelic aura. If anything, the bugs would feel something pleasant. This was all of course, definite small talk between the two. Perhaps Griffin could be a little at ease, his sister having found someone safe to socialize with, even if that person was the wife of an enemy? Nana herself was quite harmless*

Oh really! Could you show me? I’m a slow learner but that doesn’t stop me trying! *She laughs nervously. Bell was strictly of angelic blood, but not by birth but by her genetic curse, which left her little to no insight into the world of actual angels.*
PostPosted: Wed Jan 30, 2008 7:51 pm

^__^

If we are given the time, certainly.

*Well at least it was a small victory of sorts, Nana had found that she liked to teach and Bell wanted to learn. The questions now were, when would they have the time? Also, where would the leanring take place? Would Griffin even allow it? It was evening now, so the only insect life around at the moment were likely moths and fireflies, and a few crickets too. Perhaps that would be enough though, just maybe. Hearing a creak, Nana turned her head towards a few servers, carting out sand bags towards the door, a curious site to be certain*

Hmm, what do you suppose those are for?

*Bell glances over at the suspicious behavior being highlighted and raises an eyebrow.* I have utterly no idea, but it doesn’t look like something normally done at a party.
