Ulrich nodded and stood. "Yeah, she'll be fine. She just tends to spend storms outside rather than in. Knowing her, she'll probably be singing, maybe trying to send out some protection for Daeron and Ruel - since they're out traveling in this."

"That makes sense," Kara murmured fingering the school pendant she had around her neck.

She did hope the two where alright, especially since Ruel was in quite a hurry to leave.

"We might as well," Donovan told Kara after Ulrich left, "It's going to get cold and Skye will get cold unless we're all there," he pointed out to her.

It was perhaps the best thing to do at this point.

The storm passed without incident, though it lasted the night and half the next day. The following few days passed quickly, the first spent cleaning up from the storm, the second resting, and the rest of them doing various activities.

The final day of Donovan and Kara's visit arrived, and by that time Ulani and Ulrich were feeling more like they had used to, when their children were still around.

Miyu was the energetic one, but she was pretty fidgety staying away from her folks for so long, she actually began to poke Skye. Anywhere she could really.

Kara sighed a bit as she got dressed that morning, Donovan had woken earlier than she. She petted Skye on the head, "What's the matter?"

Skye looked up at Kara as she patted her head, then grabbed her hand.

"Want Mommy," she pouted, her eyes growing misty, her chin beginning to quiver.

Serenity in the livingroom with Ulani, gathering together a few things to take with her - though really she didn't have much at all. The letter from Daeron to Elnara, a single change of clothes, that was pretty much it.
