Willow tried to tell Buffy what to do instead, but doubted it would work.
Buffy was not magically inclined, no matter that she may occasionally have prophetic dreams. Willow wasn't sure she'd be able to pull off a spell, even one as simple as this would be.
Buffy.. I need you to go to the magic supply shop, 2 blocks over, and pick up some mandrake root and some thistle.
She mentally sighed.
And a horny toad. Alive.
She waited for the Buffy look.
Didn't happen.
Ok, so bring them back here, smush them all up, and rub them on my lower back.

Andrew turned to look at Atticus, stopping. Great, just what he needed. He put his hands on his kneed and panted. He really needed to get in shape. When Atticus caught up Andrew flashed his smile. "Hey, Atticus. What's up?"

"No what's up with you?" Atticus asked with a smirk as he caught up to the younger man. "You just rushed out of that house like you saw something horrible..." he mentioned. "Can't imagine what that would be since that house seems well protected..."

Andrew shrugged. He wasn't exactly going to say he got caught looking at porn, much less porn of the gay variety. "I just thought it'd be nice to go running." Weak, he told himself, but he couldn't think of anything better. "Want to come with?"

"Running? ...in those kind of clothes?" Atticus shrugged and walked beside Andrew now. "You hungry?" he asked, trying to change the idea into food instead of a jog. He hadn't eaten yet anyway.

Xoey looked at her incredulously. 10? She thought she was 10?! The slayer looked down at her poor malnourished bust, then back to the other. "Ten?! I'm seventeen!" she said a bit loudly. She started walking again, a few paces behind the redhead. She was muttering about how she didn't look that young when she got a very strong feeling of impending undead. "Look alive," she told the girl, "We're close." She held her swords at the ready.

Phoenix grinned. She didn't think she was really 10 - nor did she know she was as old as 17.
"When do you turn -" She shushed when the girl pointed out there was about to be company.
They went around a curve in the pipeline, noticing that it was conveniently much darker, the emergency tunnel lights having been smashed for the most part. She could hear low murmurs and some laughter. Shadows moved up ahead in the semi-darkness, and she thought she saw the glint of what could be a metal door. In front of that door were the shadows of what she was assuming were the vamps.
"On 3," she turned and whispered to Xoey.
"One, two-"

Dawn stood there dumbfounded in the cafe and thought what the heck was really going on. She suddenly heard a message in her head from Willow and rushed outside looking for her. She then heard a message been given to Buffy and dicided that she would go to the magic shop and get the stuff that was needed. Dawn raced two blocks over and let herself into the shop and found all the items that were needed, even the horny toad which was alive in a cage. She blended everything together but was confused what to do with the toad. She raced back to where Willow and Buffy stood. "I am glad she is out of the road at least"

On three Xoey charged into the darkness, swords swinging, dust getting all over her and in her lungs, causing her to cough as she continued to twirl in a deadly dance, none of the vamps able to put up much of a fight in the darkness and confusion. When she stopped making out shapes in the darkness, or feeling vampires in the room in general, she walked over to a shape she assumed was Phoenix, dusting the dust off of her jacket and patting it out of her hair. She glanced towards the metal in the distance. "Think that's all of them?"

Buffy saw Dawn come out and then go racing away and assumed she was going to get the supplies.
"Willow.. are you poseable? Do you wanna sit?"

"What do we do Buffy?" she asked breathless from running there and back, she had no idea. "Im sorry I caused this, I" she was lost for words and handed the mush and the toad to Buffy.

Phoenix was right alongside Xoey, and was surprised at how efficiently they worked together.
Nice, she thought, as she staked one, lost the damned stake, and smashed the bottle of holy water on another vamp's forehead, giving her time to pull the blade out of it's sheath on her right ankle, and saw off the head of the next one.
By the time she turned around to finish off the now steaming vamp, Xoey had beheaded that ******** style="color: blue">"Nice," she stated, this time out loud.

Andrew shrugged. "A little, I guess. You want to go get something to eat?" Well, he thought to himself, at least his demon hunter hadn't been a part of the mass of spectators. A lunch out of the mansion might be nice anyways, he hadn't left its confines all day yesterday.

After that brief and disturbing encounter with Andrew, Angel resumed his search for Buffy around the mansion. When he realized she was gone and didn't know where to start to look for her, he just went into the living room and sat next to his good friend, Lorne.
"So..." Angel said as he watched the news with his green friend. "What do you think about that demon hunter, Atticus. Buffy told me all about him last night."
