Fai simply nodded, was not too surprising considering each kitsu they had meet was new to this place. Besides, her form of dress was most likely not for show. Both her attitude and sword spoke of strength, certainly not accustomed to the needs of this realm. It was almost celestial in its design as well, making Fai ponder if she was from a kingdom herself.
Kurogane could just feel the blood rushing to his face, and his temple pulsing. How humiliating, all because of the pale kitsu beside him. He pointedly glared daggers at said kitsu, who just smiled naively back. He turned back to the female kitsu, Lenneth was it? "I would prefer if you didn't call me such a thing. Just KuroGANE." He made sure to stress the seriousness of using his real name. It was enough having the kids learn the mages name callings, he didn't need, or want, anymore to add to that list.

"Kuro-rin~" A familiar voice rang out from inside Fai's coat. The white manjuu climbed his way up, bowing to Lenneth before facing Kurogane once more. He giggled and grinned, calling him all sorts of nicknames they've made up for the poor guy. "Mokona thinks Kurorin suits him better~ Hee hee hee hee~"
She was shocked to hear his real name for the first time. It seemed to suit him better than 'Kurorin'. More strong, determined and fierce of a name. "Well, Kurogane, Fai, where have all of you traveled from? And if you do not mind me asking, for what reason do all of you travel for? Certainly it has to be more than just mere pleasure." She nodded.
The white rabbit like creature at first was a little surprising, and she thought it might've been a monster, too. But it spoke, not only that but it carried a personality. If it could so easily tease and joke about, she could see no harm in such a creature. It was still intriguing, none the less.

Fai grinned along with Mokona's teasing. At least should he ever go missing, Mokona would take up the task of bugging Kurogane and the others. Fai's grin turned melancholy for a split second, before he turned his attention to Lenneth's question. "We've traveled from to many worlds to list off. But my home country is nothing more than an ice land. And Kurorin here is from Japan, was it?"
Kurogane huffed off Fai's use of his name, having heard it too many times before. "Hai. And the reason for our travels is to grant our seperate wishes. And mine is to return home, after being thrown out." Kurogane fumed at the memory of his princess casting him away with a spell, and a smile. "In the meantime, we're helping out Sakura-hime to retrieve her feathers."

Lenneth could see the pained expression on Fai's face when he spoke of his country. She at least got the part about his home correct, but she wondered if there was more to his pain than merely the simple fact that his homeland was mostly frozen. Probably a memory he wanted to suppress which often haunted him. Or maybe friends and family left behind in the desolate place. Pursuing for curiosity's sake would only pain the kitsu more, thusly she decided against so.
Her brow lifted at the word of Sakura's feathers. The girl had many feathers on her pink wings attached to her back, what more did she want? Feathers she lost along the way which she wanted to gather back? Were the lost feathers that dear for her that she had to travel to gather them back? "Feathers?" She finally asked with curiosity. "Feathers for what?" Lenneth asked with disbelief.

Fai had seen the questioning in Lenneth's eyes, at both topics presented to her. He was greatful that she decided against asking about his past, and instead asked about the feathers. Fai and Kurogane exchanged glances, wondering how much to tell, without telling too much. They both turned back to Lenneth, Kurogane leaving Fai to be the storyteller. "Let's see, to make a long story short, Sakura's memories are tied to the feathers. They are scattered around many places, and until we find them, her memory remains a bit spotty." That seemed decent enough, without having to arouse everyone about the power that the feathers contained. ((that must've been a quick dinner! sorry for my late response.))

Yakobi Billy rolled his eyes, tails swishing swiftly behind him as Grim shouted for him not to touch the scythe, and then Jersey spoke of someone possibly getting hurt if he played with it. Pssh, he played with it all the time and no one ever got hurt...Well not really. Besides, the only real time that he was dangerous with the scythe was when he was enraged, and then he'd normally chase people around with it trying to lop of a head or something.
"But IIIIII want to be reaper again!" the boy huffed, sitting upon his haunches in front of the scythe. That one day he spent at reaper was fun, he wanted to do it again.
"The last time you were reaper for a day, you couldn't even manage to get one soul off the list. You left me with more work to do the next day." Grim grumbled, curling his boney tails around his hidden hind feet.
Billy laughed, or rather choked out a bizare laugh. What waaaaas Grim talking about? Him causing the skeleton more work. Oh no, he didn't do that. He never did that.
"Oh! Oooooooh!" the boy suddenly got an idea. "We can play head hockey!" Billy smiled, nodding his head, they could even use the scythe as a hockey stick. Yes.
"You are not using my head to play sports." "Why not? I do it all the time." "That's exactly why not."
How unfair, not that Billy would end up listening to that. He'd use Grim's head as a hockey puck or a football or even a soccer ball later. That he would. Then it hit him. If Grim had a scary face and his head could come off, did that mean that the blue Ryuk's head could come off too? He was scary just like Grim.
Turning the boy faced the Shinigami. "MmmDoes your head come off tooooo?" he questioned. His gaze then turned to Jersey, nope. His head would never be able to come off, he wasn't scary. And he was an astronaught, and everyone knew their heads didn't come off. Jersey almost sighed a breath of relief when Billy didn't ask him if his head came off too. With that boy, who knew what dangers could arise from a simple question. But Jersey was still curious about the 'head' sports. Did Billy actually use Grim's head for games? Sure he was the Grim Reaper and all so it probably didn't hurt. But Jersey's scientifically trained mine was still scrambling for a decent answer. Finally, he just came to the conclusion that not even Buckaroo could come up with a decent answer to the question, so he move on to more pressing matters. Like whether or not Ryuk's head could come off too... And if he even wanted to see something like that.

She was a little taken back at the response she received. Memories in the form of feathers was news to her. She'd seen scattered fallen feathers everywhere on occasion, though they never seemed all that special. Lenneth could easily sympathize with Sakura in having lost memories. When she was "reborn", so to say, all her memories were suppressed. After endless times of only listening to the commands of her superior, when she tried to go down memory lane everything was foiled. In the end, her wish was granted in that bits of her memory returned but it was better than having lost them and trying to find them.
Staring at the kids, her opinion of them upped a little. They must've experienced some difficulties and obstacles in their constant search for those precious memories. Each of them must know a thing or two about real life. Still, they were only kids. They ought to play at home, trying to grow instead of learning of the true world so hastily. There was no doubt in her mind that the many hardships they will face won't be much easier than previous experiences.
"I see." She replied simply. "If I find any suspicious feathers lying around I will be sure to seek you out so you may return them to Sakura," she nodded lightly.
[My parents took over the computer. xDD;; Sorry 'bout that.]

"It would be much appreciated!" Fai gave another slight bow to the kitsu. As tough as she appeared, she was still a kind person...er, kitsu. Just like Kurogane, no matter how often he'd deny it. The aura never lies. Fai looked towards the said kitsu, just ow noticing how quiet he had been. Seems the mention of his world had him strolling down memory lane, with a grudge. Fai elbowed the black kitsu, waking him from his thoughts.
Kurogane blinked at Fai, realizing he had drifted. 'Hmm, getting to relaxed for my own good.' Kurogane silently scolded himself, hating moments of weakness. "Oi, manjuu. Are there any feathers in this world or not?"

Lenneth dipped her head in slightly returning a reply to Fai through a body language. She only thought it fair to return what belonged to the right person if she found it. Even if they were to leave this world and somehow the Valkyrie-kitsu obtained a feather she would keep it safe for them until their next return. Losing memories...she could only imagine the feelings of those who were forgotten because of that. She remembered the hard effort Lucian gave when he tried so hard to make her remember of the times they shared together. And it was not until much later on that she realized the pain in his heart.
He concentrated with all his might, trying to sense the presence of any feathers nearby. Shaking his head, he replied sadly, "Mokona can't feel any because of the strong interferences everywhere. Mokona thinks that only if he can get close to one he can sense one." His ears flopped slightly, a little disappointed that he was of no help.
Her ears perked at their conversation. The white rabbit creature was correct in that there were many different things that could interfere with their sensing abilities. "There are many auras around and magical presences. It might be best to return again when there aren't as many auras around," she slipped in.

"Even if we wanted to, we can't control what world we'll end up in next. And it may take a long time before we return here." Kurogane would love to get out of this fluffy form, even if it was just to hold his sword again. What he didn't want was to go on another goose chase for certain worlds; he was already doing that with the feathers.
Fai picked up Mokona and cuddled against it. "That's alright Mokona, you tried." Fai then turned to Kurogane. "Now why does daddy have to act all negative? Hyuu?" He whispered in Mokona's ear, "I think he's afraid he'll get fleas if he stays a kitsu!"

"I did not mean for you to leave this world then return again. I meant that all of you should leave this world. I simply meant that maybe in a few days things will clear up soon. I over heard that this event--whatever it may be will break up soon enough. It might be wise to return then and try again."
Her ears perked up at Fai's words about Kurogane. That man didn't appear the fatherly type at all. She would've never guessed it was in him. It seemed to click now. The two kids was probably the black kitsu's. And maybe the more pale one was a companion of theirs, possibly a family friend or so. It would explain his grumpy nature and his aggressive nature. He seemed a fighter, but he seemed to carry a justified reason behind it all. He had kids, after all.
Mokona went along with Fai's teasing, adding on with his own jokes, "Maybe Kurorin is afraid that Tomoyo-hime will laugh at him in this form. Or maybe the lack of thumbs is making him so negative~" He whispered to Fai just loud enough for the other to hear.

Kurogane grabbed for the porkbun, but Fai just bounded out of the way with Mokona in his hood. "Hyuu! Look what you've done now Mokona!" Fai had to tuck in his tails at Kuroganes fast pursuit. Fai figured desperate times call for desperate measures. Fai leapt behind Lenneth using her as his defense. "Now, now Kuropii! Keep it up and I'll have Mokona leave you here all by yourself the next time we leave. Besides, you don't want this nice lady to be witness to you killing me, do you?" Fai grinned from behind the surprised Lenneth.
Kurogane halted just in time to avoid bumping into the girl kitsu. He glared daggers at the pale kitsu hiding behind her. "You coward! Come out and fight like a man!!!"
Fai gave a weak laugh from where he was. "Oh Kurowanwan, you know I'm not a fighter!"

"Hee hee hee~ Kurorin is just having a fit~" Mokona teased from inside Fai's hood.
Before she knew what exactly went on, she saw an angered black furred kitsu in front of her and could feel a teasing, somewhat frightened one behind her back. She merely stood...err hovered there allowing this to pass. Eventually one of them would give up and surrender, no use interfering. It was like child's play between the two of them. One hiding behind the mother to avoid trouble.
She figured that they must be pretty close to one another if they acted like this even around strangers or kitsus they've only just met. Even though she didn't want to admit it, it was sort of cute. One question popped into her mind, though, if this Kurogane figure was the kids' father, then who was the mother?

Fai kept his place behind Lenneth, knowing Kurogane was going to take some time to fume down. He gave a small smile, enjoying this little game, even if it was somewhat violent.
Kurogane slouched, getting a headeache from the two troublemakers. Honestly, they shouldn't affect him so much, but somehow they always did. He gues it was cause Syaoran was always near his princess, leaving Fai to hang around him. No matter how much he cursed him. And Mokona was like a mini-Fai in marshmellow form, also joining his teasing. Both were just too social and active for his health. But he was stuck with them. Kurogane huffed to himself.((luvs these two in the manga! Have you read volume 16?))
