I personally think it'll rule, but only if some/all of these happen-

1) Harry dies. I hate that little bugger.
2) Remus Lupin lives and Pettigrew dies. (I'm a Marauder fan, and I want their legacy to not die off so sadly, even if they are fictional.) I would like some sort of epic battle between Lupin and Greyback, purely for the werewolf action, but I don't see it happening.
3) Lots of Luna in it, because she's coolest girl in the book, in my opinion.
4) Sirius comes back in some form, like Rowling said he would.

i think its gonna suck because of these three facts:

1# Its gonna be the last one. They get to blow the cover off of everything that wouldve remained secret throughout the series. which completely KILLS the oppurunity for the reader to come to their own conclusions.
2# HARRY IS NO LONGER IN SCHOOL. So shes gonna be majorly pressed to fill up a big book that isnt about him being in school, and learning interesting things. Its gonna mostly be action because of the unsettled background. He'll no longer have a social life to make things at least a bit more interesting. besides his whole back-and-forth between whoevers gonna end up teaching him how to fight voldemort.
3# Rowling is being majorly pressured for this last book. Shes BOUND to mess up or rush something. The pacing will be off, and that will ruin the already badly done book.
And until i read it, i will NEVER take back what i said.

Bah, you have to give Rowling some credit, ginseku. She's writing this book having just had a child last year, and she already had two of the little things running about.

1) She's probably going to leave some stuff to speculation. I've read a load of books that left some plot points undone, and, I, for one, don't expect Potter to be any different. Odds are she won't go into the back stories that I want to know more about, and all the secrets within them, thus, I get to speculate more.

2) So what if he isn't in school? A majority of OotP and HBP took place outside of Hogwarts and they're some of the best ones in the series. There is a life outside the school for Harry, and he'll have just as much social life as he did then, as all his ikkle little friends will be kicking around with him to find the Horcrux items and kill Voldemort.

3) Rowling has been pressured since book two, in all honesty. She won't release the book until she's ready - good authors tell the press to bugger off, and that's just what she's been doing.

And I think it's poor form for you to go and form stubborn opinions of a novel you haven't read. I'm not saying it's going to be the best thing in the world, but, come on - did you like the other books? Then you'll like this. It's logic.
