den turned his head sensing a strong presence coming...he felt there were two there he quikcly got up, his eyes pure yellow and glee of a battle arose in him. He had been starving for 2 days with no food or water and would not be much of a fight...but he will be one day once he becomes a sith apprintace.

Nini bounded along just behind Aryx as they moved across the landscape. She had to push herself hard to keep up with him, but her adrenaline and anticipation kept her moving like the wind. She was prepared for anything and eager to please her new Master. She would do exactly as told as soon as he spoke- she felt a new unnatural feeling, a need to obey. She sensed a life form ahead of her off in the distance, and from what she could sense, it knew they were coming.

She breathed in deep and spoke before they arrived at their destination, "This being is weak... why bother Master?" She had a distaste for unfair and uneven battles, though she lacked most morals she had that one, a sense of fairness, and she desired a fun fair fight, as there is little to no fun in battling someone who is weak.

It was sudden seeme dimpossible for the speed at which he travled, but Aryx stopped dead infornt of a young man, almost right aginast him. The enormous dust cloud he had kicked up from his sudden arrival quickly settled. Aryx looke dhim over only once, his eyes behind the mask serveying the young one. His force was weak, and he felt little potential from him. Atleast, that was, with the current arrogance that seethed fomr the youngling's form. Aryx sighed as Nini finaly arrived, turning to her after she spoke, completly ignoring the hopeful. "You are right apprentice. he is weak. It would be an unfair fight, and a complete waist of energy. But, tis was not the energy I felt, not form him. What i felt came from a little farther to the west."

Kyo looked at the sith lord and then bowed, "I have come in search for master...and I shall serve you well my lord if you choose me," he said at his feet. He had been starving for days he was most definetley NOT at his highest strength but he bowed nonetheless hoping for a master.

Nini prowled behind Master Aryx like a cat stalking its prey. She eyed the new being before her, her morbid system of analysis assessing the situation in seconds but coming to no result- primarily due to the new feeling of self-control under her new Master.

She moved to Aryx's side, crouching low, and spoke barely above a whisper, "I am the apprentice of Master Aryx..."Her attention turned to the shadowed figure of her Master beside her, "What do you say Master? If you agree you will also agree to a painful rivalry. Give me an order and I shall obey you."

He turned to Nini, he wanted to laugh. Why would he take another apprentice, especialy one that could offer him nothing. Still, it would be fun to play with the hopeful. They were miles form any where habitable. He smiled sadisticly under his mask at the young man before turnign to Nini. "If he makes his way to the far side of Dreshdae, one his own, with out aid of the force, or help from a fellow life form, and survives, perhaps then he'll be worth our time?" He wanted the opinoin of his apprentice. She knew the qualities of strength.

Jaden looked at him...this so called sith lord did not want him. He was going to test him to find him worthy...what shall he do? Jaden stood up and looked at the deserted waste land, "If this is truley what it takes...then I shall go and do your bidding," he said.

Nini rose up to her full height, a staggering 6 feet, and eyed the young one before her. She had never held very much respect for the meek or measly but fairness and chances weren't to be overlooked in her little world. She spoke softly yet sternly to her Master, "If he can prove himself worthy to you then I'd say give him a chance, but I'd advise making it something challenging... something other than what you've said. But do as you see fit, this isn't my decision." She analyzed the figure before her once more than lowered back down to her usual crouched position at Master Aryx's side.

Wise as always. Nini always seemed to know best in a matter of the mind and body. He nodded and turned back to the hoefule, sizing him over. He shook his head. He coudl feel the usial arrogance form him. It reminded him of a being the exact opposite. "Atris...." He turned heal to look int he opposite direction form wence they came, then back to the hopeful.

"In the valley of the lords, there is a path. The path leads to a very sacred area known as the Eternal Pyre. It is a massive colem of pure fire straight fomr the planets core. It forever burns. Frome this sacred place, retrieve one of the rune stones that surround it, I care not which. Take it back to the Dreashday ports, dock three. We will meet you there. Tell no one, trust no one. And relei only on your physical abilites. No Force. You may eat only what you kill yourself. Also, a side task. Meditate at the eternal pyre. Refelct on your self and what you know of the sith, then forget all of it. Also, you have a time limit. Two days. If oyu are not at dock three by the time the sun sets on the day after tomarrow, then I will consider you dead, a failure, and not worth any ones time. Further more, this is a task to help you reflect on your self. If you are sooner then afternoon of your last day, I will assume you did not take the time to meditate and reflect and consider you again worth no one's time. Now go, waiste none of my time or yours."

He nodded and began to run to this sacred place he then relized he had no idea where he was going. He sighed and followed the path where there were mostly pieces of brocken things.((how do you want this to go by, real days?)) He kept on running hungrey and sore...until he found himself tukata and he smiled as he picked up a sharp rock and threw it at its lungs. The beast screemed bleeding not to badly from the throat but came running at Jaden none the less. Jaden quickly drew another rock and through it at the same point. it was becomi ng deadly to the beast but it kept on going until it rammed its horns into jadens face. Jaden let out a cry of frustration and pain as his head bleed. He quickly found an old peace of a vase, a sharp one. and once the tukata made its final run he ducked and stabbed it in the throat with the wepon and soon blood came gushing out and Jaden smiled in victory and quikcly began to gut the creature and would cook the meat with his training saber.

After a while, Judacrus returned to the temple to reasses his situation and recover. He renembered much of what Naga Sadow told him, about how he'd need to assert his power more, and extend his designs beyond the planet to a place called Wayland. That time would come. In the meantime, however, he decided he needed to discuss things with Master Aryx, if he could locate the Sith Lord.

Nini sighed deeply and let out a long yawn, stretching from her squatting position beside Master Aryx. She blinked sever times and then rose, not to her full height but at least near eye level with her Master. She leaned forward, swaying slightly and rested her forhead against his, her eyes closed, and spoke slowly, "I'm tired now... I fear that I didn't sleep as well as I thought I would last night... any chance of a mid day nap? I would highly appreciate it. And something to eat... been a while." She rested against him, nuzzling absentmindedly against his hiroka, "You must be famished as well. I could sense your unrest, you should relax or it will eat your mind as ravenously as a starved rancor eats flesh." She stepped back and yawned once more before slowly crouching back down.

He sighed as he gently petted the top of her head. He had gotten little sleep the night before aswell. An interesting night it was. He smile dunder his mask as he reache dunder his robe and pulled to metal viles form his belt and opened the twist tops. He took Nini's hand and held it infornt of his palm up and tapped several piles into her grasp. "Suppliments. They'll give your body the nurishment you need to keep going, but they wont fill you in the slightest. We'll see about gettign you some fish when we reach Dreshdae. We'll rest for a moment, I'm willign to wait and let you nap. We have as much time as we need. I am in no hurry."

Jaden finished up his meal by dawn knowing that he didnt have much time to get to the valley of the dark lords, so he kept on walking until he saw the valley itself all beat up but in its dark glory none the less. He quikcly bowed down thinking he was not worthy until a voice popped into his mind "Fool! Do not waste your time bowing you must finish your mission! Are numbers are to low to risk losing another now go fool or I will make your life in this desert a living hell!" Jaden nodded quickly and looked around to see a path that was done well but had many sharp thing in the way. He swallowed and then ran through the path trying to dodge a few pieces but kept on going no matter how many he steped on, knowing by morning he would reach his goal.

Nini sighed and quickly devoured the supplements. She felt somewhat better but also desired food. She did her best to not let it get to her as it normally would, she didn't want to bring shame to herself and her master. She moved on all fours to the nearest shady spot and curled herself into a tightly coiled ball, purring softly as she slid slowly into unconciousness.
