rejectanonymity I looked at it briefly, but I didn't want to focus on it, you know? But... was that pic real?? *cries* *loves his kittycats* A web page all about what happened to the cat. No gross pictures, though. The page focuses more on fixing animal cruelty laws.

That was thoroughly disturbing. I'm not usually big on death, and probably have become complacent about the death of any living thing, but why the ******** would anyone do that to a kitten? Take pictures, and even craft signage with it. Disgusting.

I think the sign said something like "To the [name of random society that tortures cats], this is for you." If I understand correctly, it started with him catching a stray cat and asking a forum what he should do with it.

I keep wondering how twisted humans can be, and I don't think they've ever disappointed. Because, everything said on the internet should so be carried out in real life. Things just keep getting more and more surreal. [Q] I'm so sophisticated, reading this sketchbook. Does that make me pretentious? The joy of drawing/writing without a pencil.

No, Keithing, for you it's more like,
"OMG!! THAT DUDE HAS NO ARM!!"
with a sidedish of..
"HOLY ********! HIS HAND IS IN THE BOOK!!"
I found that funny.
But anyway. It's just a funny quote. I like the sketchbooks, but they're called sketchbooks instead of, well, books, so I just had fun with it. I totally forgot what my point was. I think I'll just blame it on me being bored.
--
As for the cat:
I looked at the picture. I can honestly say I had no change of emotion and no churning of my stomach. In fact, I was rather awestruck. Here are the (non sarcastic) thoughts that went through my mind as I looked at it carefully. First: "That looks like red wire, not blood." Then: "Dude, that is wire. Where's the blood? That's not a lot of blood. How did people get sick from this?" Lastly: "What's up with it's eyes? I don't get how his eyes could be like that. Maybe it's fake. Yeah. It's probably photoshopped."
But then I read that website. What the dude did was sick, but that picture is not in the least sickening.
EDIT: And ten minutes later, Q realized that the scarf is not a sleeve of keithing's shirt, and that Keithing's arm is just cleverly camoflaged with his shirt. At this point, with the way this day has gone, Q fully realizes that there is no way to be unable to call himself an idiot.

Though, I am so serious when I say that I suck over the phone. I never know what to say. One of you guys needs to have three way so I can just lurk in your conversation or something.

[Q] "OMG!! THAT DUDE HAS NO ARM!!" ... "HOLY ********! HIS HAND IS IN THE BOOK!!" I just noticed that it looks like that. I've been more than a bit slow lately. Or it just looks mildly morbid that I would keep my amputated hand in a book, as if it were my pointer or bookmark. Astri No, it's not a bad thing. My rl is just really separate from my Gaia life, is all. Mostly the same here too. I'm not too good with conversations if it's just small talk. I either have to hunt for something to say (i.e. I talk about what I'm doing) or it goes dead. The only time that works is when it's a comfortable, familiar silence, and those don't come around too often.
