He's just shy of 5 inches tall. Also, unlike being some stubby legged Eldar-thing, he is now slender and tall, like an avatar of an Eldar god should be.

Here's the thing. The pose is what ruins this model.
If he had the widely spaced legs of the old avatar, he'd be the s**t and look ********, because it gives the impression of a good "base", that his feet are firmly plated for his attack. But because Forgeworld go for dynamacy in their models, they unfortunately come off looking too slender or elegant to fit in with the 40k world.

Too slim?!
Its an eldar god. Im not sure what would be more appropriate.
Anyways, on the pose I agree, they were trying for dynamic, and its not bad, but something is off. I hope there are weapon options to represent the wailing doom properly.
Regardless, I do see this an improvement, and It just makes me want the codex more.

Luckily, pose is easily altered on a model of that size with armor plating. biggrin EDIT: It should also be noted that his feet are as far apart as the base allows - it is our worm's eye that screws it up.

I actually read the FW site. Apparantly if you soak a piece in hot water, you can bend it.
