Thanks guys! I'm booked in for an interview on friday 9:30AM. It is pretty early, but I have to go country afterwards to have my horses' feet trimmed and reshod (which is what happens every 6-8 weeks).

I havent been around lately... I am finishing my third week at work... I got my first pay check. But ive been pretty tired.

Stories, stories, stories to tell you all...
Well, I'm not actually that interesting so I'll just give you the slightly less boring version.
On Thursday night (the day before my interview, if anyone remembers that far back) I was on my 'puter doing some research on the law firm (so I look spiffily-interested in the position blah blah blah).
Anyway, my darling 'puter decides to up and die on me. Yup, just turned to a completely black screen, but in some weird way the hard disk was still humming. So I restart it, and it works, but a few minutes later it did the same thing.
Here's me, getting slightly worried that I'm about to lose all my uni notes for this semester, so I up and run upstairs and snatch dad's 1 GB memory stick and then run downstairs and try and back-up all my notes. It does it again during this, but the next time I manage to save it all (Phew).
I do something which is meant to clear the parameter RAM (or whatever it is called) and it seems to work, so I finish off my investigation of the firm and decide to back-up this current year's uni notes onto my own 30MB memory stick (the full folder with all my uni notes from all the past years was over 150MBs) just to be sure.
I play other virtual pet games until late and it turns off on me again, so I leave it until the next day...
Anyway, I'll get back to the 'puter after this short break from your sponsors...

....Welcome back... Now, where were we? Ah ha! The day of the interview....
It dawns brightly. I'm up early after not having much sleep. I plaster makeup on to look beautiful (and to cover up the huge bags under my eyes) and I do my hair up in a bun. (Which I don't normally do)
I walk downstairs and the first thing dad says to me is "You look exactly like [Mum]"
Ummm... Okay... Not sure I like being compared to someone else. I'm me and that's that.
Anyway, after I got over that little thing, blah blah (insert boring routine here)
...
(Skip to the interview)
I get to the huge skyscraper where the firm has its offices, have to ask for directions and press the 23rd floor button. I get out when the elevator stops, but it doesn't seem to be the firm's reception, so I ask the receptionist for the business whose front desk it was and she was absolutely no help.
Anyway, I get back into the elevator and press the same button I'd pressed earlier and it takes me to the right floor. (No idea why it stopped at the 12th floor... Maybe due to it being an express service or something... Or someone pressed the button on the 12th floor and me being utterly nervous thinks she has reached the 23rd floor)
So, I get there, say my name to the receptionist, take a seat and wait for the young lawyers I know are going to say hi to me first (to try and make the interview process less stressful the firms do stuff like this).
I had a girl and a guy meet me there and the guy was absolutely HOT...
The fact that he was hot confirms a theory my friend and I had formulated- that the law firms trot out their most good looking young lawyers to try and attract us to the firm... It worked...
So, they of course introduce themselves and I of course completely forget their names as soon as they say them...
(I'll hurry up here)
We chat for about 10 mins until the interviewer comes and takes me into the interview.
I think the interview went okay, not exceptional but at least I made them laugh a bit. I parrot back to them what is written on their website and half an hour goes past pretty quickly.

Okay, now that is all I can tell you about the interview. I won't find out whether I got the position until the 14th of May, but I shall keep you guys in the know.
Anyway, I get back from the interview and realise that I haven't saved my job application stuff to the USB stick, so I turn on my computer, and luckily it gives me enough time to save my CV, covering letters and academic record onto the stick before it turns off again.
I also just had enough time to jot down the names of the next few firms I had to apply to.
Then, after that, my computer died completely. Most times it wouldn't even get past the turn-on noise before doing its weird shut-down thing.
Blah blah blah
To make a very long story less long, I managed to borrow dad's new computer to hand in the applications due on that day (one of which I send in 4 minutes before deadline).
Missed a few days of internet on account of having no computer that could connect.
But now I've borrowed dad's old computer until my one can be looked at, so I'm back here to say hi.... talk2hand
Did you actually read all the way to down here? Didn't think so...
So that was my few days. I hate not having my correct browser bookmarks.

Sounds like the interview went ok Summer. Hopefully you will have good news on the 14th biggrin
Bad news about the pc though, I hope it doesn't take too long or cost too much to fix.
And yes I did read the whole post lol.
