I found a few pictures of a triple french horn, they are mostly tiny pictures so I just picked a couple.

muted melodies pyrojazz kiefy I've only heard of a triple horn. Must be a pain trying to keep track of everything on them. I would imagine. And cute erm...Antenna? I got bored and there was free stuff. what can I say.

I never quite got triple horns either.
Wow, I also never got what was the difference between F and Bb (apart from the different keys and fingerings >_>)
Hah, my horn doesn't have enough lacquer to polish. Except on the bell, that is...

Tarashia I never quite got triple horns either. Wow, I also never got what was the difference between F and Bb (apart from the different keys and fingerings >_>) Hah, my horn doesn't have enough lacquer to polish. Except on the bell, that is... Haha that's how a couple of ours are. Mine's pretty decent though. smile

our school has 2 beaten up double horns and 2 shiny silver double horns. guess which ones the section uses.

Ah now see we would use our shiny ones for pictures and then upperclassmen would generally use the nice ones and then lower classmen would use the beat up ones. Although..I'm using the pretty single horn simply because the other two seniors are attached to their somewhat beat up double horns.

There's a shiny Holton that got fixed in the band room, but I haven't asked about playing it because I love my old Conn... I should probably bring it home someday for variety, though...

well there is only 2 horn players this year in my band so we both get to use the shiny ones. Generally I like the older instruments. the wear and tear gives it character.

I wanted to try out for SEUS this year but I couldn't for family reasons but next year I am, come hell or high water.
