She hugged him. "Dan, it obviously wasn't meant to work out the way the mirror depicted." She told him, softly. She was trying to be comforting but she wasn't sure how. Afterall, she was dead.
Jess hugged him. "It's ok." She told him, calmly.

Jon slowly slipped out of the room since the conversation didn't concern him. Still worrying about Matt, he went upstairs and used the telepathic message spell again.
Matt flamed in behind him. "What is so important?"
Jon jumped a bit at the surprise. "Well aren't we pissy... I don't see my own brother for months, and then you return and wont speak to me. Thats what's so important. If I had known you were going to be avoiding me and the coven, I would'a just let them vanquish you.......and how come you can flame?!"
Matt cracked a smile. "Side effects of living in the underworld for so long, and I'm sorry for 'avoiding' you. After Shadow was vanquished there were a lot of demons looking for a leader. I had to make it look like I was Shadow's successor, so I could convince them not to come after you. Noticed any attacks lately? No, because I've been workin my butt off down there protecting you!"
"Fine, fine. Calm down." He walked over and put the spell's tools away. "I guess you should know the coven's been reformed. Jen has a daughter, and she's here."
Matt choked a bit. "What? A...a daughter? But---"
"How? I dont know. Something to do with rape and time travel..."
"This changes a lot.... Uh, you better keep an eye on her. I've, uh, got to get back down to the underworld and try and, uh, stop anyone from attacking her." He flamed out without a response.
"Goodbye" His voice was soaked in sarcasm.

Jon stormed downstairs, but composed himself before walking into the room where Jen and Dan were. "Sorry to interrupt, but I just spoke with Matt. He's been in the underworld trying to keep the demons off of us, and he said that Jess being here may cause an attack soon, so we better be careful."

"I told you, Jess can protect herself." She told Jon, simply. "But to be safe I'll get her out of here." She told him, simply.
Brook dark orbed in and shot an arrow at Jen, which hit her.
Jess jumped out of her mother's arms and invisioned Brook dead and she dropped dead literally.

Katana listened in from around the corner.
"...I guess she can take care of herself." He looked over at Jen. "Jen!! MADDIE!!!! Help!" He rushed over to her and held up her head. " You alright? You're alright.....right?"

Jen fell to the ground. She held Jess' hand. "I'll be fine." She told him, forcing herself to stand up. "Keep an eye out for another attack. If Matt sent Brook, then He'll send other minions as well." She told Jon. She was weakening, but she made sure she stayed awake.
Maddie orbed in upon hearing Jon's call. "What the helck?" She muttered seeing Jess. "What happened?" She asked Jon, looking over at Jess and knowing immediately who she was.

With all the dismay, Katana realized no one was watching the kid. She slowly crept down beside her. "Hey, you're Jessica aren't you?" She smiled. "My name's Katherine. I'm an old friend of your mommy's."
