Yes...besides, it's not fair to just plan the wedding yourself. I mean, there is another person there who is getting married. XD

Well, I've always thought that guy's would love to have a say (least the one's i know) they just don't think they have a right too... or that it's there place because the woman seems so obsessed with it being perfect.
After all, marriage is supposed to be the union of my partner for life... and in marriage decisions are supposed to be made equaly and made together.... so why the hell not celebrate it like its ment to be?

I jus wanna wear a tux at my wedding and marry a guy willing to wear a dress... or I'll have to wear one myself because a weddings not complete without a big fancy dress.... but I think it'll take a long time before that happens since gay marrage is a no no in the us...

I hate dresses, so should I ever get married, my groom & I would both probably wear suits. I love to crossdress too much for my own good. That, or I was thinking about wearing a kimono.
Then again, I would probably want to wear something that can flow with me in the first dance, like a traditional dress. It'll be nice to follow instead of lead for a change... Unless we decide on a fun, non-traditional first dance song like the Time Warp or something.
But I know what the food would be like; as many different types as possible, Italian & Greek being the top of the list, & a tiramisu wedding cake like my cousin's.
Plus, instead of the traditional goofy dances that they normally have at a wedding (such as the Chicken Dance & YMCA), I'll get some DDR games set up for the guests to use. After my hubby & I try it out, of course. (Naturally he gets first dibs if he likes, but if my wedding party had any say in the matter, they'd want it first.) xd Why not start some new goofy traditions, eh?
I think I should just go for the ultimate geek wedding, considering I'll probably marry a geek anyway. A celebration of our union & our geekiness. whee

Well you know I think that also a lot of the time that guys don't really care to get all that involved in the planning of the wedding. And yes, many women obsess over weddings too much. They want it to be perfect and they want to make sure everyone knows who's who. xd
Personally I really don't stress over such a thing. Cuz like i said I never figured I'd ever get married. And if I just happen to then I guess whatever happens will happen. ^^ I like things simple.
And remember, Geeks are HOT nerds are not! xd

Proud to be a sexy geek. xd
I just figure that it should be fun. After all the official pomp & whatnot of getting married, it's just a big family & friend party, right? It'll be perfect in spite of the little inevitable mishaps. My only hope is that there are no big mishaps, such as the groom changing his mind by doing something like sleeping with the maid of honor. Anything less major than that I could probably just laugh off. Imagine some of the great wedding stories that would be created:
"Oh, I remember my wedding. The decoration company got our order wrong & we got Halloween decorations instead of their wedding decorations. We thought it was kind of strange since we got married in December. But we made the best of things. I got white Bride of Frankenstein streaks done in my hair, the priest wore vampire fangs, we all did the Monster Mash, & the whole evening ended with my hubby & me watching 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' & eating candy corn until we couldn't see straight. Best wedding I've ever been to."
