I play Baritone and Euphonium nowadays
I march the Baritone, and yes it's a great instrument but the marching ones (The ones that look like trumpets) are heavy after awhile....

Everytime my floutist friends complain though, I want to smack them. They just say it's my own fault for playing the tuba, but I love it, so what can I say?

Sousa is pretty bad on your shoulder but I think baritone is worse just because it hurts both shoulders. BTW I marched sousa in a parade last year not for marching band, so it might be different...
I got faster internet now so I might be on more! :]

ya marching on the field and at band camp with a sousa is harder than a parade but the baritone is pretty hard to i do admit
