Yarotai was just about to take himself back to his fantasy when the boy before him inquired about the genin exams. The question didn't catch him off gaurd since he had asked the same types of questions when he was a student. Though he imagined that this kid wasn't truly worried about the difficulty of the exams. He began coiling the rope up again in his hands as he answered.
"Nope, not at all. Then again it was alot easier back then. They were trying to back fill some teams that were lacking pretty badly. So we didn't have to learn as much as you guys have to now. But I think that the genin exams that they require now are much more effective. The percentage of genin that died under the old course is almost twice the amount as with the current one. From what I can see, you should be fine Mr Manners."

What's with this guy and trying to infuriate us. Tairu decided to play his game, at least until Kaede rested. "So let's see, twice was many deaths as zero, so nobody died and the gennin exams are a joke just like Mr. Giggles", Tairu said in his normal polite tone to see what Yarotai would do. So, how will you react to that Miharo-sensei? Tairu was most likely pushing his luck but he wanted to know why Yarotai was trying to make them mad and he still need to waste time while Kaede recovered.
Nawanuke no Jutsu
The teacher will tie students together in groups of two or three using the Rope Skill (1d20 + 1d10 + Use Rope (Dex)) The students will each roll a (1d20 + Escape Artist (Dex)) and add their total rolls together. If they beat the teacher's score, they have successfully untied themselves. If not, they must try again to beat the same number. They must do this 3 times to complete training.
Cp: -1 Cp per Student for each attempt, whether it's failure or success.
Train: 2/3
Formula: 1d20 + Escape Artist (4).
Rewards: +1 Chakra

Yarotai placed the loop of rope over his shoulder and gave the Hyuuga a rather puzzled look. It only took a second for the misunderstanding to register with the young man though. Again he gave the boy a rather toothy grin and crossed his arms on his chest.
"When I say the genin exams that they do now, I don't mean this class as the people in it. I mean the type of things you are required to learn and be able to perform. Like the Nawanuke and Kakuremino no jutsus. And we only got minimal weapon training. Like I said, they were trying to pump out genin quickly. As for the deaths, no one dies in the exams. I was talking about the fact that the number of genin who passed the type of exam I went through and died before reaching chuunin is twice as high as the number of genin that have passed the exam you'll take and have died. So yeah, that's a few more than zero.
As for Mr. Giggles, he's not a joke. He just shouldn't be training to be a shinobi right now."

There we go, now he is actually being serious. Tairu smiled. It's good to see that you can be serious Miharo-sensei." Tairu said to him. Tairu felt good that he now understood Yarotai a bit more, though without experiencing it Tairu was still unable to comprehend what Yarotai may or may not feel from his experiences with the past exams. "So Miharo-sensei, why are you so fond of giving people nick names?" Tairu asked him since the question had been burning in the back of his mind since he had called Tairu "Mr. Manners".

Yarotai wondered if he had been half as inquisitive when he was an Academy Student. Not likely since he was simply working at what his father had brought him up to believe was a very noble profession. Though looking back on things the Chuunin would have to say that being a ninja is the furthest thing from being noble. To the Hyuuga's question he considered giving some false reason, figuring that he didn't want the child to think him heartless. However being from one of Konoha's elite families usually made the children a bit more understanding of how cold the world could be. Except for the Uchiha. That entire clan seemed to feel that they were the only downtrodden people in existence and that their pain was different. They really were the most fun for Yarotai to watch.
In the end the lie prevailed, "Just a habit I picked up from my old team captain. He loved making nicknames since he could never remember real names. I still don't think he ever figured mine out."

Tairu was becoming antsy as the group waited for Kaede to rest up. His training was almost complete and Tairu really wanted to finish. He had also run out of question for Yarotai and didn't know what to do next. Tairu reached up and scratched his head for a moment. Ugh, the anticipation is killing me. I really wanna go get my self the head band. Tairu thought. Since a silence had fallen over the group after Yarotai's last answer Tairu tried to come up with something else to occupy the time. "Um, Miharo-sensei do you have any cool jutsu's that you could show us?" Tairu asked.

Yarotai was more than content to let the silence run its course for however long it intended to. He was no stranger to awkward moments, though most of them had been with females, and it was usually the female who was feeling awkward due to Yarotai. The little Hyuuga's lack of patience was clearly evident though, which amsued the instructor to no end. He was somewhat caught off guard by the students question since he was a Hyuuga and had no doubt seen his own family's bloodlimit used before. The young man couldn't understand why this kid would want to see a justu from a man that had no inherited abilities. All of the jutsu that he had were fairly common and well catalogued techniques that he was fairly certain every child knew about before they even entered the Academy. Nevertheless he didn't want to give the child nothing and make the waiting even harder on him.
"Alright. This is one I use to pick up the ladies."
Yarotai took three canteens from his back belt pouches, unscrewed the lids, and set them on the ground before him. He then put together the appropriate handseals and stuck his hand out towards Tairu. Within an instant the boy was sealed in the orb of water, held aloft by the chuunin. He only allowed the technique to be held briefly though since he wasn't certain about the child's abilities at holding his breath. After a few seconds he disconnected his hand from the orb and the water fell to the canteens which he promptly began to close.
Suiro no Jutsu
A move used to trap the victim inside a virtually inescapable prison of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep one arm inside the water sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This Jutsu cannot be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it.
Cp cost: 20 + 1 per round the jutsu is held.
Damage: N/A
Requirements: Water affinity, water supply, chakra 20+, Chakra Control 20
Training: 10 days

Tairu watched Yarotai intently as he placed the three canteens of water onto the ground. He was then taken by complete surprise when he found himself inside a ball of water. A slight tinge of instinctual fear shot through his mind but Tairu had faith that his new sensei would end the jutsu shortly. Wow this amazing! Tairu thought. He had only heard whispers of the things that could be done with elemental jutsus. Tairu was right about Yarotai and he was quickly let out of the water prison. His clothes soaking wet, Tairu felt chilled by the air as it slowly caused the water to evaporate. The air was in actuality quite warm though since it was summer time in Konoha.

The sight of the now wet Hyuuga made Yarotai burst into laughter, gripping his sides from the immediate pain. He didn't mean to laugh at the child so much as the situation that he had put the kid in. Here all he had wanted was to get tied up by a rope and his teacher had drenched him in what appeared to be his only pair of clothes. He held up a hand as he finally regained his composure and muttered out an apology between chuckles. After a moment he actually fully recovered from the laugh attack and wiped away the beginnings of a tear from all the laughing. Being an instructor wasn't going to be so bad after all if it were filled with days like this. He straightened out and placed his hands on his hips looking at the doubtlessly baffeled boy.
"Ok I'm good now. Man you look so funny all wet. Ok Ok! Seriously I'm done now. Tell you what, I'll make it up to you. I'll let you finish the Nawanuke while Little Miss Mouse rests some more, then I'll make sure she gets it done too."
Without waiting for a response the young man pulled the coil of rope from his shoulder and spun it around the boy again. He threw in an assortment of random knots, hoping that he didn't tie the kid up too badly.

Cp: 24/24 Dc: 18 Roll: 15 + 5 = 20 Pass Yarotai's laughter was quite irritating to the young Hyuuga but he made his best attempt to hide it out of politeness. When Yarotai was finished with his laughter Tairu was taken by surprise for the second time in the last five minutes. He soon soon found himself tied up again, except for this time he was all alone. How on earth I am going to do this by myself? Tairu thought as panic started to enter his mind. Before I had to have Kaede help me in order to escape, what am I going to do about any knots that might be on my back side? His heart beat quickened and he began to sweat. Tairu nervously looked at the knots before him and then when he thought about his situation some more he realized that he didn't need to Kaede's help. I've been by myself since I started my training, I have accomplished so much and I can do this as well. Tairu calmed down and examined his situation. There were many knots and the ropes were quite tight but Tairu was determined to escape. He first freed his right hand, then his left. With movement in both wrists he then worked to free his right arm. The rubbing of the ropes made his bare skin to become irritated and uncomfortable but Tairu was getting closer to freedom. When his arm was free Tairu fell over onto his side and then bent towards his feet. He undid a knot holding his feet together and then felt the ropes slacken. Tairu was then able to wiggle like a worm in order to slip out of the ropes. Nawanuke no Jutsu

Cp: 23/24 Tairu was quite pleased with himself since he now only had to complete one more of the mandatory lessons. All he had to do now was participate in a Taijutsu bout. Alright only one more lesson to go! Tairu was quickly approaching his goal of becoming a shinobi. It did make him slighlty sad though that he would be leaving behind all of the acquaintances that he made so recently. Tairu thought about how when he got assigned to a cell he would no longer be there with Kuro, Kaede, Takeshi, and he would also have a new sensei as well. Tairu let out a brief sigh and then pushed the thought out of his mind. "Hey Miharo-sensei, now I only need a Taijutsu bout." Tairu said to him. Tairu was also feeling a bit warmer now that his clothes were mostly dry. Nawanuke no Jutsu

Yarotai was pleased that the child was feeling more confident in his abilities, however he was also a bit ticked off that he hadn't made the knots tighter. This dilemma didn't last long as the statement left the young Hyuuga's mouth. The instructor nodded his head in understanding and played through several scenarios of how he could give the kid a taijutsu match. Most of them ended in the boy being severly injured, while the rest involved a puppet for him to fight which Yarotai didn't own. In the end he'd have to wait until either Keade was willing or Takeshi returned from his pouting. If neither of those became feasible the Chuunin might have to fight the kid himself. That last option didn't exactly appeal to the man at all.
"Alright then Mr. Manners. Well we'll probably have to either wait for Mr. Giggles to get back, or we could go find him."

Tairu thought about his options for a moment before he decided to speak. "First of, my name is Hyuuga Tairu. Secondly I saw we wait a little while to see if Takeshi shows up and if he doesn't we should go find him. Tairu said Yarotai. Hopefully Takeshi would just show up so that they didn't have to go looking for him since it would be difficult to find one guy in a huge place like Konoha. Tairu was also still slightly concerned for Kaede as she still hadn't recovered from their earlier training yet.
