Amnity shook her head and frowned. "No...I meant that I can never deserve anyone like you, you're perfect." She put the bible back in the pews. "And you would have met someone much more deserving and right for you if we wouldn't have met." She paused for a moment, her tone suddenly changing as she looked off onto another direction. "And you probably still can..."

Amnity examined his expression. No matter how cryptic Mephlius could be, she could always read what he's feeling through his face. "Cold feet...Mephlius?" She smiled a bit.

In fact, Amnity did have cold feet. Ice cold feet, actually, being soon to be married to someone close to perfection and feeling that she could never deserve someone like him. Anxiety, nervousness, everything, causing her to rant incoherently, like now, and have sudden nervous attacks. But no, she couldn't tell him that. Her expression changed as quickly as his, masking how she really felt, and she smiled. "Nope. Not at all."

Mephlius smiled. He kind of felt like something was off, but he assumed it was nothing. "That's good to know." He paused a bit thinking he had just realized what was off. He was wrong... but it was enough to make him think. "What made you ask?"

Amnity took a deep breath.....And didn't exhale for at least a whole minute. She then sighed, ruggedly and uneasily. "...Maybe I do have cold feet...Just a bit though."
