Random: I heart what my avatar is wearing right now. I don't know why but I'm actually all right with the idea of never changing my pixellated clothes ever again. History is made.
*has a tea, chicken soup, and Kleenex party with Emi* heart

Emi: (SP = symptoms) But if your tonsils are causing problems, then whipping them out may do you so much good~ ^^ And it's a super-simple surgery. Hell, it's safer than having your wisdom teeth removed. XD
I came out of the anaesthetic really strangely... ^^; I slapped the nurses and cried rivers of tears, and I was crying out for my surgeon by his first name even though I always called him Dr. Hoff before. I guess I thought they were aliens experimenting on me or something. Going under was easy as pie though. They attached the IV and I lay there for a minute trying to sense the drugs. It went like this...
"Hmm, hmm...ooh, I feel sort of zzzzzzzzzzzz." Instant blackout. XD

xd But still, it's weird for me...I have asthma so I'm naturally nervous with surgery thinking somehow they'll block too much of my mouth (As I can only breathe through my mouth) and my friend said they stick something in you to make you fall asleep...and I'm not good with shots XD Btw, what's an IV again? (Yay for braindeadness!)
I did have surgery when I was 3 or so...had to get all my teeth capped because the medicine I was taking rotted my teeth >< Don't remember it though.
Edit: Another thing is I'm nervous about the whole "blacking out thing". I've never really fainted or anything and even thinking about "blacking out" makes me nervous about sleep XD

The IV is that needle thingy they stick in your hand so they can give you medicine, etc. at a controlled, constant rate. And they shouldn't need to block your mouth

Emi: Have more faith in the medical community. XD (Unless your mother is taking you to a surgeon who operates in back alleys and no electricity...)
When you're having surgery there is always one person who is dedicated to watching your heartbeat and breathing. ^^ They are never distracted with anything else...they just sit there and make sure you are happy (even though unconscious). IV = intravenous = needle in your arm to deliver drugs. If you hate needles maybe ask them to give you one Valium to take before surgery, or to give you a bit of gas first so you don't care about the needle any more? XD That's what they did for me. I was a happy (drugged) camper.
Having your tonsils, wisdom teeth, or appendix removed is no big deal. ^^ Don't worry about it~ You're in more danger just driving to the hospital to have the surgery done.
