"Oh, is it?" and smiled giving a nod. "Then let's watch a few movies, nap and when we go then we can go out and eat after." Though he was basically merging his and Daren's ideas Timothy felt like daren had thought of it all. Everything except the shrink was going to be fun.

Daren nodded, "That's a great plan, Tim." he got up and pulled out his 500 cd case that contained his movies. "here," he handed it over to Tim, "you pick the first one and i'll pick the next, deal? they are alphabetical, if that makes it easier." he had quite a few movies in reality, but the were a good way of unwinding after work. "i have netflix too, if you want to browse that."

(( >> To the appointment! >> )) Timothy sat in the waiting room nervously, remnants of the day's earlier anger flickering to life in his chest. His ankles were crossed, fingers laced together and his head was bowed down to look at them. However the hazel eyes would quickly look up and scan the room as though a danger would appear within seconds before glancing back down. He didn't want to be here. He really didn't want to be here.

Daren finished talking with the receptionist as Dr. Ko walked out of her office. "Daren!" she said brightly, coming over to give him a hug, her face reaching his stomach she was so small. "glad you actually showed up!" she lifted an eyebrow at him, but daren looked away, rubbing the back of his neck and mumbling something about work. she shook her head and say a very anxious and possibly-angry? Timothy James sitting on the couch. she approached him slowly and smiled, "hello! I'm Akane Kogami, nice to meet you! you can call me Akane or Dr. Ko, whichever you prefer." she held out her hand to Tim, wondering if he'd take it. Daren stood back a little, watching to see how Tim would react to her. he hadn't been very kind their first meeting, but maybe Tim would be different.

As soon as the doctor's door opened his head snapped up and he watched the woman which exited. She seemed rather close to Daren, though Daren's body language could have proven otherwise. Daren was right though, Dr. Ko was incredibly tiny. She looked like a child compared to the officer. But she spotted Timothy and the red-head tensed, entire body going still as she walked forward. "H-hello." he looked like he wanted to take her hand to be polite, but really he didn't want to get close to this woman at all. He wanted to get in and get out as soon as possible.

Akane smiled softly, withdrawing her hand, "well. shall we get started? you elected to have Daren in with us for the first part, correct? in that case, let's head on in! would you like some tea? i've all different kinds and some coffees too if you want." she lead the way to her office and waited at the door, smiling gently as she watched them pass. "It'll be ok," Daren promised Tim as they head into the office, smiling as he sat down off to the side and out of the way. Akane already had the hot water boiling, so all she needed to do was pour, "which would you like? i've plan water as well if you want."

The man stood, feeling the small yet unseeable tremors running up and down his legs. He wasn't thirsty. He didn't want tea. But this was good, this was useless, they weren't talking about him. Good. This was good. "Anything is fine." he murmured, standing inside the room and looking at Daren sit towards the back.

"Mint tea then, dear. it helps sooth the nerves." she poured out a mug full and took it over to Timothy with sugar and milk in case he wanted that. "go ahead and sit down, Mr. James. you can either have the lounge," a chair that was long and low, meant for laying, "or the lazy boy. either is fine." she sat in her own comfy chair across the table from him and put her tea down. "First things first, do you have any questions for me? i want you to know it's ok to ask me anything. more i want you to! if there is something bothering you or if something happened during the week you want to talk about then go ahead and say it! these sessions are about you, Mr. James. so, do you have anything you want to know? or to talk about?"

Mint tea was fine, eyes scanning the lounge and the lazy boy. Either could have him lie down but he settled with the lounge. Did he have questions for her? Could he leave and never return? Considering Aomine had to come back TImothy would be forced to return as well in due time. Could she just sign a slip saying he never had to attend? Lies, Aomine would force him to attend regardless. "I don't really have anything to say." he murmured, not bothering to look at her but looked to the side. "Nothing really happened this week." Aside from wet dreams, trying to hit on Iroh, yelling and hitting Aomine. Nothing he wanted to discuss with an absolute stranger.

"Akane smiled and kicked off her heels, bringing her legs up into the seat beside her. "Oh, i'm not so sure about that. i see a certain fresh mark on Daren's lip that could only be a few hours old and i'm going to go out on a limb and say it wasn't an accident. maybe we could talk about that? did you hit him, Mr. James?" he wasn't a violent man, she could tel that much just from knowing him for this little amount of time, but there was something that had caused him to lash out. "what Daren threatening you? it's ok to talk about that, even if he's hear. if you don't feel comfortable talking with him here he can leave."

That ember of anger turned into a small flame as she mentioned Aomine's busted lip. he turned his head away from the woman slightly but also in the opposite direction of Aomine as to not look at him. "I did." he mumbled. "I didn't want to come here."

"Oh, i see." Akane sat back, nodding, "you didn't want to come here and Daren made you come so you hit him. right?" she heard Daren shift in his seat and spared him a quick glance to keep his quite. "he deserved it, made you do something you didn't want to. but even with you hitting him, he still made you come." she looked at Tim over her mug of tea, "so does that mean if you don't want to go shopping you'll hit him? maybe he's the one i should be taking out of an abusive situation and not you.then again, he's a big strong man, he can take it. not like you. you're so skinny and weak, even i could abuse you and you wouldn't be able to stop me. and yet you hit Daren, hit him hard enough to split his lip. did it make you feel strong? did it make you feel powerful?" she watched Tim carefully, looking for a reaction, for a crack in that reserved shell, poking at whatever made him react the strongest.

Brown eyes stayed focused on the picture, a tree in the autumn weather. Aomine hadn't deserved it, Timothy had lashed out accidentally before he could stop himself. His knuckles still hurt where they made contact. Timothy came because he would have been forced to come by court order regardless, he might as well get it over with. He wanted to open his mouth and point out that being hit once didn't make it abusive, but if there was a mark left it did, and Timothy couldn't seem like Andrew who made excuses for everything. And he was skinny and weak, four years of letting Andrew beat him around like a rag doll. Who allowed that to happen to them? daren was large, larger than Andrew. Timothy had to reach up to lay one on him. "Guilty." he acknowledged. Though whether he was acknowledging that hitting him made him feel guilty or admitting he did hit him he didn't say. He didn't want to grow angry. He'd never been angry aside from earlier that day and it was like a horrible flame which filled his chest and roared with sharp teeth before lashing out. And it was growling at the doctor. He wasn't going to look at her.

Akane smiled, he was fighting to hold it in. but it was a loosing battle, especially when you knew people as well as she. "Guilty, really? did you cry and beg him to forgive you? and he did, didn't he? he forgave you right away. in fact i bet he took on the blame, apologized for making you made and said it was his fault." she shifted, "just like you did. you used to forgive him right away, didn't you? all he had to do was smile, give you a little kiss and you forgave him for beating you, for hurting you. That Andrew had you wrapped around his little finger. it was a great set up he did, made you think you had to be with him and then destroy you until you believed it. then he could do whatever he wanted. all it took was a little show of affection and everything was fine. might as well have written, 'Property of Andrew, beatings welcomed' across your forehead. or did you do that already and it just washed off? should we write in on Daren now? is the the "Property of Timothy' now? how long before we add the last bit?"

Timothy closed his eyes as though that would try to tune her out. "Did you cry and beg him to forgive you? And he did, didn't he? he forgave you right away.""Tim. Oh god Timmy I'm so sorry. It was an accident please I don't know what came over me." the man had said, looking horrified as the bruise turned an alarming shade of red on the light colored skin. "Oh Tim I'm so sorry."
Timothy could only watch the man look horrified, starting to walk off. "I-It's okay! It was my fault anyway I did ask a rude question.""Just like you did. you used to forgive him right away, didn't you? all he had to do was smile, give you a little kiss and you forgave him for beating you, for hurting you. That Andrew had you wrapped around his little finger."He's kissed Aomine twice because he hurt him. He had kissed the man to make him better. Not to ask for forgiveness he never asked for it but just a few small kisses and Aomine had forgiven him. But the writing on the head. Eyes snapped open, nose smelling the sharpie marker, feeling the cold ink on his skin and the stares of multiple men at his blind-folded and tied body. "It was c** bucket." he murmured, fingers over his mouth as though it would help. "It wouldn't wash off for days because it was sharpie. Just c** bucket. c** bucket c** bucket!" he shouted as the monster roared as he remembered the pain and the feeling. That sticky feeling of filth. "And I'd never write that on his head! He has done nothing but treat me well and take care of me and you're assuming I'm going to be like Andrew!" hazel eyes were narrowed angrily at her. "There's a difference! There's a god damned difference and you don't give a ******** about it! This is why I didn't want to come at all! This is your job and you're ******** enjoying it!" and grabbed the mug, ready to throw it and it's hot contents at her (most having spilled over his covered arm) but after a second he through it at the ground and yelled, taking the pillow off the lounge and throwing at at her insted before pushing the lounge chair over angrily before kicking it and yelling some more. That was all he could really destroy, ethics preventing him from ruining the bookshelves or breaking things and the horrid b***h had her mug in her hands. He gave a final yell before quite literally dropping to the ground and sighing, having to bottle up the rage he couldn't use. He wan'ted to shank someone. The man sat up and pulled at the lounge chair, moving it over him, legs in the air and formed a sort of tent around him, laying on his stomach like a child underneath it and continuing to fizz in anger.
