Kristina slithered over to Lance and put her hands on his shoulders. She kissed him on the cheek and said, "I'm glad to you think slim and curvy suits me, although in my current state it doesn't suit me. I can feel a tightness around my waist line from the baby pushing out against my frame, and I'm not sure what to do with the extra weight I shed. I've got a block of goo here for no other reason than it's what I used to have coating my body." She wrapped her tail around Lance's legs and brought herself close to him to give him a hug. "Please help me with these issues."

Saya couldn't quite comment on what she was being told, nodding as she positioned herself at Kela's side and began healing her. Her mother sounded great, like she always did, but she could no longer get dreamy eyes and swoon over any story she heard. Her new job was to differentiate herself from her mother, to tear out of her shadow and prove to Nala that it was possible. Problem was, she had spent her life chasing her mothers image, doing anything she could to create a bond with a woman who was no longer alive. She didn't understand how she could be so disconnected from a woman she looked so much alike, down to the very length of her hair and the weapons she used. She had lost who 'Saya' was and didn't know what she was supposed to be as an individual rather than the child of a legend. Maybe Nala had felt that way all along, the person she was being overlooked for the person that came before her. It could be frustrating.

He blushed when she kissed him and more so when she hugged him. Such a tight hug too, did she forget she was part snake? In any case, he hugged her back. "What am I going to do with you?" Lancelot sighed in tease, he began to think of ways to help her. "I think you're feeling the pregnancy in full force." He placed both of his hands on the rise of her round middle. "Tomorrow, we can ask Saya to help loosen you up, should be great practice for her." A small smile came across his lips as he felt a subtle movement from Almagest under Kristina's flesh. "As for the block itself, I think it's best you ask Nebula what to do with it. She's the one more in touch with her origins after all."

"I'd like to ask Nebula, but I'm not sure where she is right now." Kristina admitted. She placed her hand over top of Lance's and asked, "Can Saya really help me? I'm almost beginning to think Almagest is long past term or about ready now and I just want her out of my big body before I somehow run out of the energy that remains in it." She felt some sharp movements in her belly and closed her eyes.

"She's in your mind somewhere isn't she?" Said Lance, those words got him nervous. He didn't know of what the two discussed earlier that day. About Nebula being nothing more than Kristina's voice of reason, regulated to conscious duty. "But yeah. Saya's a maiden, she's supposed to specialize in fighting and midwifery, right? I can't tell you for sure if she is or not, but you do look full term for a human, but you're also a hebi so you don't look that big in contrast. He felt sorry for her sometimes, this being one of those times. She always had these highs and lows with this pregnancy, so he couldn't really tell if she enjoyed it more or less than she wanted to be done with it. "As long as she comes out when it's safe for her, for both of you. Things just haven't been safe lately." Lance gave her a hug, holding her through the pain.

"I'm not sure where she is right now. She gave me 100% control of this body of mine and my mind recently." Kristina stated as she relaxed in Lance's hug. "I just hope Saya can help because although I have mostly enjoyed this pregnancy I am concerned for Almy." Kristina looked down at her belly and continued with, "She has no father per say, so I was wondering Lance... Could you be her father for her? I really want a husband, and well, you pulled something out of my heart recently, and um, continue to have that odd ability to do so I think."

"I take it you are troubled with something. I can see it in your eyes, Saya." Said Lily, she would hope it was nothing too serious. "Everyone here has their troubles, its how we go through them that makes the difference."

And with that, Lancelot was deeply saddened. He had the feeling he would never see her again. Well, he had to accept that. She gave him so much extra time to accept that she had to leave him.
"I understand now. You only played along for my sake, and perhaps Nebula's." He said,referring to being his sister. He thought himself to blame for that. Kristina was a person too, she had feelings like any other.
"You never wanted that kind of life with me and Almy." He said with his gaze following hers."I just, have to think about it okay? Really and truly think about it this time." He wasn't sure if he should mention what happen today. Well, she did tell him about what happened to Nebula.
"About my odd ability, I used it today. The school got attacked and the elevator Irmira, Allison and Gemma were in had it's cable snapped. I used it on Allison and it worked. Different weapon all together."

Saya nodded, knowing Lily was right in her words. She was never one who liked to burden others with her problems, she even kept it from Nala that she was worried about her father. Perhaps that was why Nala withheld her worries from her, but that would change now. Sighing, she tried to describe what was wrong, "I guess I'm just worried about Nala. She was taken by Ananche today and though Theus told me she was alright, he also told me it was important that I break away from my mom's legend in order to rescue her." She stated, trying to summarize accurately, "But...I've spent such a long time trying to be just like my mom that I don't know who I really am."

Kristina blurted out as tears streamed down her eyes, "But I would like to be. Nebula was the one who convinced me to do this. It's her personality that has led me to do this and is a part of me now. She wanted me to raise Almy with you, and I'm not sure I liked it but I went with it." More tears fell down from Kristina's cheeks and she tried to wipe them away. She could feel kicks from Almy in her belly and said, "Almy wants you as her father. I can feel it, but I really want you as my husband now, so please, don't deny this entirely for us. Think about it, really think, cause I was generally fine with being more like a sister to you until now. I just can't figure what those powers of yours mean if you can use them on me and others in our group." She back away from him and her curled around her body as she scrunched herself into a big purple ball of slime. Her belly stuck out like a sore thumb, and became agitated, so she placed her hands on it to try and calm Almy. The little slime just had too much energy and Kristina felt too much pain in her heart at the moment to want to continue speaking with Lance. Where did his love lay? With her, or other women? Was Nebula included in this? She had told Kristina she had formed the egg inside her now out of happiness for her master Lance.

"That burden from the past, it's not too late to save Nala." She touched Saya's cheek with a warm gentle hand. She smiled calm and warmly, hoping to cheer her up. If any of the Pandora had the mystique of a gentle goddess, it would be Lily.
"You'll find who Saya is, just as Trish found who she was and so forth. I don't know who this Theus is, but your bloodline is of legend. Learn not to live up to hers, write your own legend."

Lancelot sighed, nothing was going good at all today...
"And you think I understand my own power fully? No one tells me more than I need to know about anything. I thought it only worked with you, it had only shown itself with you until today. That was a life or death situation, just like the first time between us. Do have any idea how embarrassing it is for me? I've outright refused to attempt using it on anyone else but you to train because I knew it worked with you and I was comfortable with using it with you. I don't even want this power, but if protects you, Almy and the others I'll use it." He ranted, hated being in the dark. There was something the older members of the group knew. The way they looked at him, held their tongues, what was it they knew? He knelt down beside Kristina, and wiped away the tears from her face.
"I am just, so sorry Kristina. I feel like all I do is hurt you one way or another. I can't keep you happy, all we do is fight when we're alone. I want you to be happy, happier than Nebula was. Ever since that day you came to my home, you got a second set of thoughts, a pregnancy you didn't want, a brother you didn't want and you're in constant danger because of my selfishness."

"It's not your fault... I followed you home cause I thought I liked you. Now I'm not sure what to think since I feel like I'm on the edge between an awesome brother complex and a desirable husband. You're really cool you know for having helped out most everyone you've met until now and all I've done is complain about things like cookies, who we hang out with, and what I'm doing with you, myself, and others." Kristina answered him.
She began rocking back and forth on her tail and added, "I was scared to show you this form at times, even after I became pregnant. Now, as I've seen it I've been dragged through a wild ride due to my feelings, Nebula, and her baby. I just want to have Almy now and get this over with. So if you can, Lance, ask Saya to induce my pregnancy. I'll be sure to keep it as quiet as possible and then possibly hang around here still if I'm needed. I'm not even really sure who is in this group anymore since we've been all over the place and I've just been waiting around to have a child."

"I have my issues, I couldn't let Nebula go and she probably knew that. I can't replace her with another slime, especially with one of the most human people I know. So I have a sister complex, crazy when right in front of me is someone willing to skip girlfriend all together and go straight to wife. Your cookie craving was amusing, never a complaint." He teased some.
"I like this form the most, I admit it was hard to accept because well, if I had marriage plans, I thought it would be with a human. Human you was just as pleasing to the eyes, but once you got pregnant, I could see how keeping it was a burden." Complimented Lance, he tugged some on the end of her tail. He was so nervous about inducing labor.
"With today's scare, that worries me. I don't want her to live in all this fighting, be born here in Phantom Town if I can help it. Just please reassure me things will be okay if she's born tonight."

Kristina listened to Lance's words and told him, "I'm glad you mostly think I'm not an annoyance. I really like you and find it quite amusing like me in either form. If I get some practice, perhaps, in the future I can easily contain all the body weight I'm carrying with my next child. Unfortunately, I can't have another one for another 16 years. And by then, you know what happens to me probably." She thought back on the days when Nebula was extremely sick and remembered that her personal happiness had brought Almy into the world with a terrible price.
Kristina sighed and noticed Lance was tugging on her tail, so in order to cheer him up and herself she slithered over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist. "I promise though that I will keep myself in line though from now on and raise Almy right so that she can be as beautiful as you think I am. Anyway, if I go into labor tonight I have a lot of people to help me out, despite this overstretched stomach of mine." She pat her stomach and felt a jiggling sensation across her skin. She had lost quite a lot of weight, but probably not enough.

Lancelot was confused. He was happy she was there for him, even after all of this. He felt pathetic holding her tail like a security blanket, but Kristina and Nebula probably wanted him to not feel that way. "Yeah, you're right Kristina. I'll ask Saya in a few. I don't know if this will make you feel better about yourself, but you made 'overstretched' look good." He said after sometime. By now Lancelot had let her tail go and had an arm around her as well. Right now, Kristina was his friend, the friend he should of had a long time ago.
"I don't want you to think that you're going to have the same future as other slimes. You're a very special kind of slime in many ways, Kristina. You've done things no other slime has or probably can. And I'm not just talking about you being pregnant either. Your soul is human, that won't fade so easily." He replied.

"In case my soul does fade away..." Kristina remarked, "can you take some pictures of me and my big belly? I've never had my picture taken and I think it's important if I get one picture of myself pregnant. I won't be able to get pregnant again for another sixteen years, and um, I really haven't minded this look too much either. It's just that it's become so normal for me it's gotten kind of annoying." Kristina lay down on her back and faced the ceiling. She watched her chest rest and fall with her breathing and noticed her stomach was mimicking her breathes too.
